I’m dreaming of a super yummy low-carb
butter cake using a traditional butter
cake recipe, here I’ll show you how.
Hello, thanks for hanging out with me my name
is Lynette, I help people be beautiful

hey in this video I show you how to make
a super yummy, super moist, butter cake. At any point in this video definitely check
out the links and show notes in the
description below I’ll list out
everything that’s in this video so do
check that out at any time
So following the Keto Baked book review and also the live chat that I had with Keto Kelly
recently I’m all fired up to wanna try
the butter cake that she was talking
about and I’ll stick the link to those
two other videos up there so you could
check them out at any time but for now
let’s jump right into the making of this
yummylicious low-carb butter cake
So here I’m using some sprouted raw almonds that
I’ve roasted in the oven and ground to
flour using a food processor and then I’m
adding some unflavoured whey protein powder and yup you need both baking powder as
well as baking soda so that your butter
cake will rise nice and high, mix well
and set aside
For the next part of the recipe I’m
adding one third of xylitol to some egg whites
together with cream of tartar which is a
stabilizer and also what makes it expand
8 times its initial volume and then keep
going at it for about 8 minutes until
you get these stiff white peaks
Then for this next bit, add the remaining
xylitol to the butter and then mix them
up really well so that it’s light and
fluffy, scraping down the sides as you go
And then you add egg yolks one
at a time, mix them up really well
and then finally add some heavy whipping
cream
Then you fold in the flour in batches
and then also gently fold in the
stiff egg whites and then pour it into a
springform pan, bake for an hour and
that’s it! That’s your super moist super
yummy butter cake that’s really easy to
cut through as well
That was seriously the most buttery
butter cake I’ve ever eaten in all my
life. Super yummy, super moist, tasty and
fragrant despite it being low-carb.
So you see, low-carb doesn’t mean low
enjoyment okay! What’s your favourite type of cake let me know in the comments
section below and if you enjoyed this
video give it a thumbs up and also
