You’re at the Grocery Store – Now What?

– Being prepared for your shopping trip is the best way to avoid unwanted items making their way into your cart. However, sometimes, you
have to make a quick stop, and just get what you need. You’re at the grocery store. You’ve made a quick stop,
but now your mind goes blank, and you’re not sure what you need to grab that’s Code Red approved. Here’s a list of my top 10 approved grab as you need them grocery items. So, guys, this is what I believe every household should have pretty much in any given moment. So these are directly from my kitchen, so you’re gonna notice that, you know, some of the items have
rubber bands around them. That’s because I’m using
them right now as we speak. Bacon and eggs. Bacon, you really don’t
need to go without bacon. Bacon is quick, you can do
it for breakfast or dinner. Eggs, I’ve got, it’s
funny, ’cause this egg still has poop on it from the chicken. I got this from a friend of
mine who has a chicken farm, and so, but you don’t have
to have organic chicken eggs from a chicken farm your friend has. You can have any eggs, that’s fine. But bacon and eggs,
lunch, dinner, anytime. They’re gonna be good, ’cause
remember bacon and eggs, great source of fat,
great source or protein, and almost zero carbs or sugar. You’re getting a big
bang for your buck there. I like to have some sort of a meat, a quick easy meat. Here in my freezer I have sirloin patties, and I have Alaskan salmon patties. And these are great, because
you can easily fry ’em up, they taste great, and great
source of fat and protein. I like grass fed butter. It’s certainly not a requirement
to have grass fed butter. Any real butter is fine,
but I like Kerrygold. It tastes good, it’s grass fed. You can get this, you can
get whatever you need. You can get it form Costco
or Winco, wherever you want. Just make sure it’s real butter. Remember, no margarine, no fake butter. There are very few things that are nastier for you to put in your
body than margarine. So don’t go that route. You’re gonna want real butter. Remember, you’re gonna put your butter on your different items here, so it’s a really good
idea to have your butter. Guacamole, guacamole. What I didn’t have is, I didn’t have the little portable
guacamole cups to show you, so I just got a package
of, a little thing, container of guacamole for you. Guacamole is excellent
source of fat and nutrients, and my gosh, you can put it on your eggs, you can put it on top
of your sirloin burger. There’s no end to what
you can do with guacamole. So having guacamole cups on hand, or guacamole like this is gonna be great. And it’s gonna keep a little longer than having an avocado. I think having an avocado’s great, but we’ve all seen those
jokes online about avocados, and they go rotten like whenever, you can’t ever predict when
they’re gonna go rotten. So guacamole is wonderful to have on hand. Any frozen veggie. See, these veggies are flash frozen, which means as soon as they’re harvested, they’re frozen right then. So they haven’t lost any of the nutrients. They’re perfectly acceptable. They’re very affordable,
and you wanna pick your favorite veggie. See, mine, brussel sprouts, brussel sprouts and broccoli, those are the two
veggies that you’re gonna be able to find in my
freezer at any given moment. I use a certain serving. I might use half the package, and then I wrap a rubber band around it. You can see, I do that
on a lot of my items. So just pick your favorite frozen veggie, keep ’em in your freezer, and
they’ll keep for a long time. Macadamia nuts, the number one best nut that you can consume. Why?
Because they have the highest concentration of fat, but lowest sugar and carbs. You don’t need very
many of ’em, all right? And I know they’re a little bit expensive, but that’s ’cause they’re
such great quality, and they’re so good for you. So you’re just gonna want a small amount. They’ll go a long way. Take these with you wherever you go. Have ’em with you, really good for you. Every household needs olive oil. You’re gonna be able to
do a ton of stuff with it. You can put it on your salad. You can fry your pattie in it. You’re gonna wanna have olive oil on hand. And also, kind of along
with that, coconut oil. Now remember, coconut oil, same quality, still has the lauric acid, it
still has the good qualities, but it does have that coconut taste, so if you don’t like that, you’re gonna wanna go with olive oil. But coconut oil, olive oil, a
staple in my house for sure. I keep stevia around. I keep raw, real, organic stevia. This is the extract. It’s not mixed with any of the fillers, so it’s very, very, very strong. And if you look inside here, you’ll see a little teeny tiny baby spoon. It’s super, it’s super small
’cause that’s all you need. It takes very, very,
very, very small amount of this stevia to sweeten
whatever you’re using. So just keep that in mind. You’re just gonna wanna need, and this sucker lasts me six months. So I keep these, I have
this at my other house, I have this at this house, and then I also travel with this. I have one I travel with. This is gonna come as a
surprise to some of you, but ranch dressing. If you like ranch, you can put ranch on all kinds of things. You know, maybe you just need
a little bit of something, maybe you need a little kick, right? Maybe you just, you can
put it on your veggies, you can put it on your pattie, you can put it on your eggs and bacon. You can do all kinds of things with ranch. You can obviously make a salad out of it. But, no carbs, no sugar,
so people are like, oh, that’s not healthy. No, the high sugar dressings
are unhealthy, all right? The honey mustard. Honey is in the name. The raspberry vinaigrette, come on, hello. The sweet Vidalia onion. Those are the dressings
you wanna stay away from, but ranch, Caesar, and blue cheese, those are your best high fat,
low sugar, low carb dressings. So I like to keep some around in case I need a little
something for my meal. Guys, these are so basic. Honorable mention, ghee. I love ghee, ’cause it’s clarified butter. And what does that mean? That means that they have
taken butter, real butter, they’ve melted it down, they’ve strained it through a cheesecloth, and then what’s left is just pure fat. And they’ve taken off the milk sugar, which is lactose, and the water. And so you don’t get the lactose. So those of you who are dairy sensitive, and you can’t have dairy,
gee’s a great option for you. But, you don’t have to have that. I think that butter is just fine. Don’t make it too complicated. As you can see, I certainly don’t make things too complicated. I really keep it basic. These are my go-to items. You can spread, you can
mix ’em and match ’em. It is just really easy. It’s really easy to eat Code Red. Notice, there are no recipes here. So, keep these top 10
items in your kitchen. These are the ones you can go to, and I know that’s gonna help you. Getting caught in a hurry at the store doesn’t have to lead to poor decisions and reversed weight loss. Keep a list of these items with you to ensure everything you
