What Jennifer Aniston Typically Eats In A Day

October 30, 2019 45 By William Morgan

Since 1994, Jennifer Aniston has been stealing
our hearts.
Through her role on Friends, she popularized
the layered bob called “The Rachel,” and before
long, just about every woman wanted to be
her.
We lived vicariously through her high-profile
marriage to Brad Pitt, and when they broke
up, we collectively mourned for America’s
sweetheart.
But throughout the years, Aniston has proven
she doesn’t need a man to find success in
life – and look great doing it.
In her September 2018 InStyle cover story,
Aniston detailed how she stays fit with yoga
and boxing.
But diet plays a role too, right?
Here’s just what Aniston typically eats each
day.
No to the joe
Starting the day without a cup of coffee might
seem like an impossible task.
Americans are especially obsessed with caffeine,
with around 90 percent of the country consuming
it in some form.
Back in 2010, according to Harper’s Bazaar,
you would’ve had to pry the latte from Aniston’s
cold, dead hands.
“Pam.
This is Pam’s.”
But in more recent years, however, Aniston
has pulled back the reins on her caffeine
addiction and swapped out her morning java
for something different: Lemon water.
And she’s not the only celebrity to fully
embrace the ritual.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Gisele Bunchen
also believe in the magic of warm lemon water
in the morning.
“You got
three lemons.
What my baby wants, my baby gets.
You know that.
But I wanted 12.
Baby wanted 12.”
Karen Ansel, a registered dietary
nutritionist told Self it’s a great way to
hydrate after 8 hours of sleep.
Power breakfast
Both eggs and oatmeal are common breakfast
foods, but most people probably wouldn’t think
of combining them.
But Aniston told Elle that she’ll sometimes
throw together some oatmeal and then mix in
an egg white, just as it finishes cooking.
Aniston actually picked up the trick from
ex-husband Justin Theroux, who adds the egg
for extra protein.
But Jen isn’t just a one-breakfast-item kinda
girl.
She also revealed to Bon Appetit that she
mixes up her mornings with antioxidant-packed
fruit and protein smoothies.
Aniston also embraces the avocado toast trend,
with a drizzle of EVOO, salt and pepper.
Our favorite Friend’s fridge
If Aniston were to let you dig through her
fridge, you’d likely find your standard American
fare, but maybe just a bit healthier.
Staples like raw veggies, lettuce, chicken,
and hard-boiled eggs are kept on hand.
But those eggs Aniston prepares are actually
from her own backyard.
According to Yahoo!, the star inherited a
coop with 15 chickens, when she bought her
$21 million Bel Air estate in 2012.
Simple game-changers
Staying healthy is no doubt important to Aniston.
The actress revealed to Women’s Health that
her diet nourishes her skin and hair.
While she believes in the benefits of a daily
spoonful of royal jelly, she says she keeps
it simple by eating organic fruits and veggies,
healthy lean proteins, and of course tons
of water.
“She has such a youthful vibrancy about her.
She looks almost the same today, as she did
10 years ago.”
Aniston also listed off her very favorite
healthy snack: frozen grapes.
The first time she tried them was at a spa
— and she says they’re “genius.”
“Skinny style” alternatives
According to Yahoo!, when Theroux and Aniston
were married, they both enjoyed cooking.
While the star loves her pasta, she does look
for ways to lighten it up.
For her signature carbonara, she skips the
oil, butter and cream, and goes skinny-style
with turkey bacon, eggs, and parmesan.
“I have chosen to make a traditional English
trifle.”
“And what are you making Monica, in case Rachel’s
dessert is so good, that I eat all of it.”
Yes, she drinks Smartwater
Aniston has become synonymous with the Smartwater
brand, for which she is an ambassador.
“I’m a Smartwater girl.
Always have, and always will be.”
And she told Shape that she really does drink
the water she promotes.
100 ounces of it a day!
When Yahoo! asked if she enjoyed the brand’s
sparkling variety, Aniston admitted she prefers
flat, and cold.
But when she does drink sparkling water, she
serves it on the rocks and adds a little Stevia
when she’s craving more flavor.
Late-night snacks
Although Aniston makes room in her healthy
diet for pasta, you won’t find the actress
scarfing down a piece of chocolate cake as
a midnight snack.
“Wait a minute, that can’t be right.
Is that a beer bong for a baby?”
She told Bon Appétit she skips the late-night
treats, but sometimes caves in for a frozen
yogurt, with a little granola.
But the one snack Aniston is powerless against
is homemade tortilla chips, with some guac.
We knew there was a reason why we feel like
Jen’s our best friend!
