over breakfast I am having this
gluten-free bread Dermott Trader Joe’s
what we setting up two slices in the
toaster this one is pretty good it’s not
my favorite sitting free bread but I
think it’s pretty good but look it has
like a hole in the center I feel like
soda pry so yeah I’m just going to toast
some of that up so this is my breakfast
I have two pieces of toasted some
avocado and some garlic salt and then
some berries on the side that is my
breakfast and some hear the birds
chirping we maybe hopefully a nice day
but like listening hopefully a good
former hey everyone so I’m ready for the
day I just finished a workout which
brings me to my first point but hadn’t
be healthy while traveling and that is
to be active service grab a glass when
you’re active it’s going to like a
allows you to eat more on vacation but
these important not to just like lie on
the beach and do nothing so I’m going to
make a post-workout protein shake and
this is like a I’ll show you the protein
is after this is a protein that they
have some uses when it’s a Sun warrior
classic protein vegan superfoods and
it’s creepin Milla Chi and there you go
focus and I’ve had before and is pretty
decent and sorry if the lighting is like
not ideal but like what can I do I mean
some enough of house to like I just
can’t you know you guys do what you got
to do this I’m putting it aside
and then and then I’m using this Khalifa
farm milk my favorite milk well I’ve
been doing a bit I’m just literally
doing this but I think the protein in me
up for like I taste at all too lazy to
make an actual smoothie and then here is
a pro tip oh boy look at that bags if
you don’t have like a shaker ball which
they don’t I use a whisk and I just
whisk it and that way it doesn’t get
clumpy
so there is a little hat for you guys
okay guys well I am hungry but we are
going for lunch in like two hours I
don’t want anything to baby say don’t
want to throw our lunch because we are
going somewhere really exciting for life
that you guys going to see so I need
something small to type you over and I
don’t know what to have so I decided I’m
going to have a spoonful of this peanut
butter from Trader Joe’s it is has black
and his Chi ax and it has 300 let’s see
if we can focus can you focus no farther
weighs 320 milligrams of alpha I know
like alpha li melenik acid and omega-3s
Simona have a spoonful of this and
hopefully this will take me to lunch
it’s like 11 I think we’re going to be
there on 12:45 so hopefully this will
last excited I’m going to make a cup of
decaf coffee and look at this mug isn’t
it so cute it’s from Target it’s not
mine like it’s the earth but like clips
from Target how cute that oh my getting
a capsule is yeah yeah where’s the decaf
if you guys didn’t knows the funny story
I told it on Instagram for my brother
bought like all of this coffee cookies
too and McPherson back there a couple
arose all of like decaf coffee and it
was by accident so it’s like 104 dollars
of like decaf coffee that he thought it
was like regular coffee pretty funny and
I always do crush the strong I do it oh
no nicest time but I always click strong
good okay
I’m just too catchy right up on what
I’ve been doing this morning I’ve been
fixing a couple of like YouTube videos
like prescriptions and medicine studying
if you guys didn’t know I’m in med
school and we have like a board type
exam some viewfinders really hard let’s
look at it we have a board exam at like
the beginning of August which is like a
huge exam study like 180 hours for in
order to like classes a day I was like a
big deal
Sam’s so I study like four or five hours
five days a week for it and like a
preparation and I’m like more way up to
it but like right now I’m in for five
hours so I have been studying and it’s
really hard to study for hours when
you’re like on vacation with like family
or like trying to spend time a family
but you guys that it is so I’m up at 6
a.m. every day just to make sure I can
get everything in so we had lunch at
gracias Marjorie as you guys saw on the
clip and it was really good
I had a jackfruit taco and a potato taco
both were really good and they also had
this ginger tea which was like fresh
ginger it was really really good highly
highly recommend their guac and chips
was phenomenal I always judge like a
Mexican place by their guac and their
chips it was so fresh like the perfectly
like the chips were just like perfect
peas perfect talkers are good and my
brother liked it and it was all vegan so
like for a guy to like a vegan
restaurant like it was like a big deal
so highly recommend if you’re in the
area you go there and then we went to
Alfred’s as you guys saw I have my
matcha almond milk tea look at the cup
it’s so pretty I’m loving it if he’s
like these are normal matcha but like
it’s good a couple of cute in the store
was cute so he had to go especially
because it’s like five minute drive from
gracias Monterey so really really good
so oh I made a boo-boo yesterday guys I
totally forgot to bring my camera to
dinner with me it’s just because I don’t
ever like bring my camera places I
totally forgot I walked through the door
and I was like she did not bring that
did not film dinner so I’m going to tell
you all of it in right now
and insert some like snapchat slash in
story pics you guys can see but God stop
looking at the viewfinder so hard but we
went for sushi i love sushi sushi my
favorite things to get mul we’re out
here and we got a red mountain roll
which is a California roll with salmon
on top and then
you kind of put it flat and you stack it
with spicy tuna and a lot of different
places I’ve seen it called like Red
Mountain or mountain roll one of my
faves
another one in my faves is called crispy
rice which is the rice is crispy and
then it has spicy tuna on the top and
avocado on it really really good hair
there we go note still there and then we
also had a came here old like I shared
this was like my brothers like that I
didn’t like eat all three rolls myself
remember the candy cane roll which is a
California roll
with like I want to say just tuna on the
top and spicy mayo yes I guess what is
this it’s really really good I love
sushi by far my favorite so yeah so I
want to end this vlog just by sharing
with you guys some of the ways that I
try to stay healthy when I’m traveling
the first is this resistance band it is
so useful for like leg day arm day up
day no matter what it’s just really good
for adding resistance and it’s light not
like I’m going to bring ankle weights
with me so this is like my best friend
also making sure you have healthy snacks
like apples on hand or bars that are
like good and clean also a good tip and
I also try to drink lots of fluids that
are not like sugary fluids or
caffeinated so herbal tea or like iced
herbal tea water kombucha things that
are healthy for you but I don’t have a
lot of added sugar because a lot of the
time when you think that you’re hungry
you’re actually not you’re just thirsty
so I drink plenty plenty of fluids and I
also charge in fluids before I eat like
if we’re going out to a restaurant and
they bring you your drink first before
your food gets there I try to finish at
least one glass of water if not too
because when you’re hungry like you can
eat more than like you think you need
but if you drink the water beforehand
you end up eating less so I do that and
we’re out I also don’t necessarily
finish my whole plate I cut things in
half or I leave some I just don’t eat it
all so that’s a way that you can have
like foods if you’re going out way don’t
eat it all like split in half
or be drink less water or like an iced
or below before you eat amang
eating less I hope you guys enjoyed this
