Hey guys, press the bell icon on the YouTube app
and never miss another update from Pinkvilla.
Hi everyone, I am Upasana and I am on Pinkvilla today.
So, today I am going to share with you today some really easy, quick,
affordable, no-brainer recipes, that you can all enjoy and stay healthy this winter.
Winter is so important, you know it can actually make you
pretty low, dull and sad.
Therefore, I am wearing these bright colors
So, make sure you wear bright colors and stay happy, healthy and hydrated
through the winter.
Let’s start with my magic potion.
This soup is so light that it’ll actually make you feel
energetic and help you heal.
It has the right ingredients and the right things
for your body to feel great, and always
drink soup with a positive mind and
know that your food is going to heal you,
it works much better, trust me on this.
You start with one tablespoon of ghee,
because I just love ghee so, and i think it’s the
best for you. It ah..
it’s great for your joints and great for
every part of your body, so in goes
the zucchini, then goes in the broccoli
the pak-choy, the carrots, the mushrooms
ahh.. the spring onion
And, why I wanted to put celery last
is because celery is
so amazing. So if you’re feeling bloated, just
add the same amount of celery to a litre of water
and drink it, you will feel great
And then if you don’t have soba noodles, don’t worry about it.
So I’m making the veg version
so in goes in the soba noodles
and hot water,
salt and pepper.
Please don’t cook your veggies for more than
7 minutes, you’re just killing all the nutrients.
So 5-7 minutes, then it’ll
come to a boil and your soup is ready.
This is great for a cold, great for a bad throat
if you have the fever, go for it!
Stay healthy, boost your immunity
and stay strong this winter.
Up next is my quick and easy recipe for bhindi
and why I love bhindi, is because
it’s grown locally and
we get organic bhindi in Hyderabad and
I’m sure around India because remember organic vegetables
are actually supposed to be cheaper
than the other vegetables available in the market.
So my trick for quick bhindi
is to add a bit of salt, cut it in chunky peices
and put it in the microwave for two minutes. What this does
is it keeps the green color and also
the bhindi looks very good because you know a lot of people
want their food to look really good
and umm.. it helps you feel better also.
So this is my trick, so you have the bhindi that’s has come out
green, bright green with a bit of salt
from the microwave and now
it’s almost done I just have to do the tadka
and that’s..it’s over. In less than 5 to 6 minutes
you have this bhindi ready. Okay so here you go you get
one spoon, teaspoon of freshly pressed coconut oil
and first the tadka, my most favourite
I really like mustard seeds
some jeera,
some dal
and dried red chillies.
Okay, and then
the green bhindi that we put in the microwave
for two minutes comes on here. Nothing more than 4 minutes
that’s it.
Just a little bit of haldi
So in exactly 3 minutes, you’re done
that’s about it, it’s five minutes, and
5 to 7 minutes that’s it, nothing more.
And you have the perfectly cooked bhindi
that you all should eat. So you can choose to add a bit of garlic
if you like but I try to avoid it
because, and especially if you’re giving it to your men, because you know
garlic actually increases their
anger levels, so keep it as minimal as possible.
So all of you have heard about bullet
coffee from my previous video, so now I am going to show you
how to make this great bullet coffee.
And Sinu here has been.. is a part of our family
and has been with us for over 20 years right now.
So Sinu please tell us how to make bullet coffee
he’s going to be helping, so please, so we start with coffee first

uhh.. that’s one, two-two teaspoons of coffee
And that’s ghee, so you can use either coconut oil
please try and get cold pressed or organic
or you can use ghee, that’s a nice
spoon of ghee, wow!
I like more ghee but,
and then just hot water
And only if you want, you can add jaggery
otherwise, if you can stay without it,
please stay without it.
Till it reaches a frothy consistency
Here you go, this is your bullet coffee
and trust me, it’s hard on your stomach
but great for your health.
