Ultimate Fat Burning Keto Pesto

Hey guys thanks so much for watching.
Today we’re gonna talk about one of my
favorite types of pesto.
It is Keto super herb pesto and this
here is the hero.
It’s cilantro, it’s this little cilantro.
While I was in Panama the medicine men
and women would always be using this
powerful cilantro in everything that
they would prepare their different
medicines and what cilantro is known for
is really helping our body detox. It’s so
powerful it’s such a good detoxifier and
it really nourishes and strengthens your
entire body. So here we go. I’m gonna show
you all the ingredients that we have. So
let’s take a look at what we’re working
with, okay. This is the hero, as I
mentioned, this is cilantro. So cilantro
is a staple in my diet every single day.
Then we’ve got about half a cup of our
oil. Here I’m using avocado oil. Then
we’ve got a clove of garlic, I’ve got
some salt and pepper, half of a lime,
we’ve got nutritional yeast, right here.
We’ve got pumpkin seeds and we also have
the jalapenos, as I mentioned, about half
of them, half of a jalapeno you’re gonna
cut that up and we’re ready to go. I’ve
got some hemp seed oil that I wanted to
sort of just lightly drizzle on top of
it.
And we’re gonna roast and bake our
pumpkin seeds and our jalapeno so we’ll
release all the nutrients for about five
minutes. Let’s grab our amazing delicious
and slightly roasted pumpkin seeds along
with our jalapenos right out of the oven.
I’m gonna place them here. Again, these
recipes that I love to make are so easy
and the whole thought process is how do
we create functional food that’s
delicious and can really give us all
exactly what we need which is energy,
well-being, and these are the kind of
ingredients that are super foods that
can do that for us. Our pumpkin seeds are
cooling I’m gonna start with our
phenomenal hero that’s 2 cups of
cilantro that we’re gonna put right here
in my house we eat cilantro as I
mentioned every single day so here’s
2 cups of it and then we’re gonna add
the nutritional yeast
it’s 2 tablespoons and you can add 1 to
2 tablespoons of fresh lime and then
I’ve got 1 clove of garlic that I just
chopped up. Again, I want you to just make
this super fresh like in the moment
because that’s when you’re gonna get the
most benefit from it. We’ve got half a
cup of olive oil sticking to the…okay,
1/2 a cup of olive oil. Now I live on
good fats as do you because I’m sure
that Keto has transformed your life just
like it’s transformed so many people in
this country, right, like we have a
revolution going on right now. But it’s
really important that when you’re
getting your facts they’re coming from a
clean source
so just like your super herbs they’ve
got to be organic they have to have
really clean soil because they absorb so
much and you’re getting a lot of these
plants. The same thing goes with the good
fats you want to be able to get a clean
organic source so when you’re putting it
into your body it’s really supporting
your health and your cells.
So I just added two pinches of celtic
salt. Again I’m always thinking about our
sodium levels. A little bit of pepper to
taste and we are ready to go. And now
we’re ready to add our pumpkin seeds and
freshly baked jalapenos. So just think
about how incredibly easy this process
is, right. You’ve got all these amazing
pumpkin seeds,
these guys are coated in hemp seed oil
but you can use any kind of oil that you
want. I always want to think of the good
fats as our base because that’s where
we’re getting most of our calories from
and then the phytonutrients that are
coming from all of the other powerful
super herbs and ingredients.
So you can just process this for two
minutes. Very simple, very easy, and it’s
gonna create this creamy pesto. Okay, so
now we’re ready. If you can imagine how
quickly I was able to do that I hope it
inspires you to make this keto pesto,
this super herb,
superfood base, to your health and your
well-being. I mean think about how
cilantro helps not just with reducing
heavy metals, detoxing the body, it’s also
filled with tons of vitamin A, vitamin D,
calcium. It’s good for your bones, it’s
good for your digestive system, so when
you think about how keto super herb
pesto can really change your health in
your life it’s what this one has a kick
to it right. So I wanted to make sure
that you got some fat burning benefits
and that’s why we added the jalapenos in
there.
They have capsicum and they really can
help your body improve your metabolism.
But what also makes this so powerful is
the cilantro helps with your digestive
system it helps with any sort of upset
that you can have. It helps your body
deal with, let’s say you had food
poisoning it’s truly a powerful detoxer
and I want it to be foundational to
everything that you eat.
You know, I’m completely obsessed with
that I want to transform the way that we
look at food and the way that we look at
these super herbs. So this can be the
base of a dish and you can put a couple
of ounces maybe two to three ounces of
meat on top of it or fish or whatever it
might be. But make this the base of your
food.
