Timing Loosens Your Jeans Better Than Butter July 23, 2019 100 By William Morgan Did You Know You Can Use Time To Loosen Your Jeans? And I believe “TIME” is the real magic of weight loss.Time is even better than butter at loosening up your jeans.Hello I’m Butter Bob And this video is called,“Time To Loosen Your Jeans”As many of you know, I’m a supervisor in a manufacturing plant. And when I get a new employee, many times they just can’t keep up, it’s nothing againstthem, they just can’t keep up with the pace of production. They work so fast, making so many needless motions, working themselves to death tryingto keep up, but falling further and further behind. On the very next workstation, right next to them, might be a person who has been therea while, and they’ve mastered the process. They’re getting more done and have a few secondsto spare in between cycles. This experienced worker has learned to eliminate every inefficient motion, and this efficiencymakes her production greater with less effort. She might even have time to sneak a text message in to one of her friends.Or talk to the person on the next station, catch up on the latest gossip and never getbehind on her work. But the poor new guy, his parts are piling up on him.If you think about these two people, this perfectly sums up the person who gets fatand the person who doesn’t get fat.One processes their food fast enough, there’s no piling up.The other is different, they’re slower, and before they get finished processing this cycle, here comes another one. And another, until there is a great pile ofextra food around their belly, butt and chinny, chin, chins. So when I get a new employee, I might slow down the process a little, give them extratime to learn without getting piled up. I might have to give some a few seconds, othersI might have to give a little more. Slowly building their speed until I can getthem up to the production levels that I need. This is the same for losing weight. The skinny girl is quick, she processes thefood fast, her insulin levels go down fast, and she starts burning fat and there’s nopile up of fat.The fat person has a problem, because of high insulin, they need more time to get into thefat burning mode. But the more often they get into this mode, the better at it they become. Day by day, they get a little faster and alittle better at processing this fat, just like the skinny person. The most important thing I’ve learned about weight loss is this.It is a timing issue, more than anything else. The two pieces of information I think arethe most important are from the work of scientist George Cahill and Dr. Joseph Kraft.Cahill studied starvation and his work shows us that everybody, given enough time, hasthis process of switching over to fat burning built into their system. It’s just a part of your human nature. Sure some people are slower, but everybodywill start switching over into fat burning mode once they get their insulin low enough. And getting insulin low enough, takes time. For some it’s fast, for others slower.Dr. Kraft’s work show us the real problem in my opinion. Some people just have a whole bunch of insulin all the time.Even when they sleep they have too much insulin to allow their body to go fully into fat burningmode or maybe they just don’t burn fat fast enough.Let me tell you about a study that shows how important TIME really is.These people were put on either a “THREE meal a day” dietor a “ONE meal a day” diet But here’s the kicker, folks. The diet they were put on was 50% carbohydrate. Almost 300 grams of carbs per day, so it sureas heck wasn’t low carb. It wasn’t even in the same universe as lowcarb. And they weren’t trying to starve these peopleeither, they got to eat almost 2400 calories at that one meal. But guess what? Even though it was a 50% carbohydrate diet, the people on the one meal a day plan lost weight and more important they lost fat.But the people on the exact same calorie plan, but eating THREE meals per day did not loseweight and they didn’t lose any fat either. You see, even on a high carb diet, these peopledid the one thing required, the one thing I think every successful diet has in common. The successful fat loss diet gives the body time to get the insulin down and let all thatwonderful fat out. Give the body time and it switches to it’sfat burning system. People who are slow to lose weight, are likemy poor new employee, struggling to keep up and hoping their mean old boss, which is me,will slow the machine down a little so they can learn. It’s like that famous episode of “I Love Lucy” where her and Ethel are in the candy factory, getting further and further behind. Stuffing candy down their shirts and eatingit as fast as they can to keep up. If you’ve never seen that episode, you shouldlook because it’s pretty funny and it kind of gives you an idea of what’s going on withthis thing. The good news is, you don’t have to hope your mean boss will slow down production. You just need to slow it down yourself. Give yourself more time between eating.Long breaks from eating each day. And slowly but surely, your body will becomequicker at reducing the insulin. The skinny person eats and their insulin is back down to fasting levels after about 3hours. We eat our high fat meal and it keeps our insulin lower than the normal food soit doesn’t rise like it used to.We get to eat and live our life. The skinny girl sleeps 8 hours and she isburning fat pretty quickly while she sleeps. But we are going to give ourselves 16 hoursof not eating. Allowing our body double the rest that the skinny girl gets in her 8 hours.Slowly but surely, we become more efficient in our insulin production. We become slimmerand more like the slim person. Pretty soon we fix the problem with TIME.This day by day practice will become a lifetime. You didn’t get fat fast and it will take timeto get it off. But now you know the real secret, and thereal secret is time. Diet gives you time, fasting gives you time.Time to rest your body from eating and high insulin levels, time with lower insulin makesyour body more sensitive to insulin, time makes your pants fall off 50% better thanbutter. But I’m sure glad I can still have my butter, and my bacon, and my cream and and my steak during eating times.See you next TIME. I lost weight and then hit a plateau where I got stuck. I started intermittent fasting and a low carb, high fat diet and the weight is falling off. I feel satisfied and when I'm hungry, I know it is an authentic hunger that's not caused by sugar highs and lows. I'm way more in tune with my body and as a result, I feel in control for the first time in my life. I don't feel like I'm walking a diet tightrope that will eventually end and cause gaining back the weight. I love the videos and I'm baffled why more people don't know the truth. I'll never look at food the same way again. Reply Bec Wakefield says: August 17, 2017 at 4:22 am I needed this today. Thx for your encouragement, Bob! Reply Carole Seubert says: December 9, 2017 at 4:02 pm Greetings BB! Typically, I'm not one to post comments on YouTube videos but I've found your series so inspirational and motivational that I had to publicly acknowledge and celebrate you. I've found your videos on insulin and mindset especially informative and applicable to my personal health profile. I'm now entering into my second month of intermittent fasting (16:8) and for the past couple of weeks I've adopted a ketogenic approach to eating and typically eat only one or two meals a day. I've shed nearly 10 pounds thus far but, I feel I could/should be dropping more. (I suspect I actually may not be getting in enough fat or calories. I also think I need to make sure my 2-3 x / week workouts are done in a fasted state.) I'm off to pick up some chicken and lard to give your tasty looking fried chicken a try and to pick up more of my new mainstay, liquid Splenda I started using a couple of weeks ago and of which your video on artificial sweeteners helped affirm my use. Before I go, though, let me thank you again for your generosity and selflessness of spirit and time. It's prayer and your videos I turn to when I'm feeling like giving up. My question: I just started 8/18, and now starting a new job soon, so in the morning I just need to get up and have coffee till my first meal around 10, but do you put any cream or anything in that coffee?? Can I fake myself out by doing a butter coffee till I have my fist meal when I am at work? I would like to continue 8/18 and be able to have dinner around 6-630.. .thanks. Reply Norma Jean Shepherd says: February 8, 2018 at 11:26 am Thankyou Butter Bob!! I have been re-watch in your videos about the insulin issue, and I have been doing 16-20 hr. fasts, but I got so discouraged because, for 1 month I dropped 1.2 pounds. I just insisted on a fasting insulin and fasting blood glucose test which revealed both as being very high. The Dr. Almost refused to give me the tests.
