Dr Josh Axe: It is. It’s

Jordan Rubin:That’s a good lookin’
omelet.
Dr. Josh Axe: Yeah and so you can get a yeah get oh this is part of the
program.
Charlene Bollinger: Josh you have me on the fudge I
mean there we going up I’m all about the
sweets. I’m all about the fudge, but the
conventional fudge what do we find– I
think that the number one ingredient is
corn syrup and that’s so unhealthy for
you. It messes up your metabolism and
it’s connected to genetically modified
ingredients and there’s even been heavy
metals found in that. And that’s just one
ingredient of so many. So the key not
only is optimizing with the right
ingredients but the right kind of
ingredients. Meaning we really look for
organic and GMO free because you can get
a lot of really good foods and those
foods really if they’re not organic and
they have a lot of genetically modified
organisms in them and if they have heavy
metals that’s going to increase the
toxicity into your body. And instead of
leading back to health it’s gonna go
away from health. And so as I think about
this guys I’m thinking about a lot of
the different people out there they talk
about well what’s the difference between
Keto and I’ve heard this about Keto and
I think the plant-based diet is a way to
go only and I have to stay away from
that. Jordan I know we’ve talked a lot
about that the the plant-based diet only
plants no animal products whatsoever. And
then there’s the Keto which when it’s
done the right way and we talk a lot
about that. It’s the top-of-the-line
ingredients its nutrients densely packed
into this diet. Can you walk us through
the difference between those two different diets?
Jordan Rubin: Absolutely. Now I don’t
know about the three of you I only can
surmise that all of us have tried a
plant-based diet at some point. Almost
everyone I’ve ever met in natural health
has been a vegan or vegetarian, myself
included. My parents were early adopters
than the natural health movement they
were vegans than vegetarians. So I am
very well-versed in a plant-based diet
and I think that plants are amazing. I am
certainly not biased against plants, but
I want to be clear that the 360 and Keto
360 is meant to be synonymous with
holistic. This is not just about
macronutrients, high fat, moderate protein,
low carbs. This is quality
and quantity and I believe as Josh said
when all else diets fail other diets
fail this works. I don’t know about
you folks but I’ve seen a lot of
vegetarians and vegans that are heavy.
I’ve seen those that are tired. I’ve had
plant-based diet or secretly call me and
say, “listen Jordan don’t tell anyone but
I need some of that keifer you
recommended. Or I need some of that
grass-fed butter, but don’t tell my
followers because I’m a vegan.” I mean I
that just doesn’t make sense folks diet
isn’t religion this isn’t a faith but
you ask the question I’m going to answer
it. I think a lot of the challenges in
comparing plant-based vs. Keto– number
one comes with the type of Keto people
are eating. Here’s a myth Keto is high
protein high meat. It’s not. It is
flat-out not high meat. In fact, you can
do a Keto diet with no meat and you can
do a plant-based Keto. We talked about it
Keto 360 just so you know it’s not a
plant-based Keto diet, however it is not
high meat. It is not a high protein diet
and some of the confusion online and the
information out there is that certain
proteins stimulate something called the
mTOR pathway M capital TOR. There’s
some solid research that shows that when
you activate mTOR you are creating
unhealthy cells. I’m trying to be a
little careful on the language here, but
here’s the bottom line, there are certain
proteins or amino acids that trigger the
mTOR pathway. Methionine, leucine,
isoleucine. Those are known as essential
or even branched chain amino acids,
particularly the leucine and isoleucine.
What I love about the Keto 360 program
that Dr. Axe and I put together, is we
took this into content and context and
the proteins we recommend are balanced
between muscle building and connective
tissue building. You can actually consume
proteins from bone broth and collagen
that don’t activate the mTOR pathway.
They balance out your protein intake. We
say this all the time independent of
Keto, if you’re consuming a diet
with animal foods you need to balance
the meat with the broth. Keto protein
is the first protein that is fitnes fat
optimized and has equal amounts of
methionine rich proteins and what we’d
call connective tissue or collagen rich
protein. So if you’re someone watching
and saying I don’t want unhealthy cell
growth. In fact, I want the body so immune
system to be supported digestive system.
I will tell you folks the proper Keto
diet was developed to replicate the
results of fasting. Let me repeat that
the proper Keto diet was developed to
replicate the results of fasting. What
better way to cleanse than to fast. The
only difference is you can’t water fast
probably longer than 40 days and live.
Some people have done a little longer,
but you will die without food. Keto 360
gives you some of the benefits of
fasting, brains support, energy support
body reshaping, but in a healthy holistic
way. Gluten free. It is free of fluid
dairies. So you’re not getting a whole
lot of dairy proteins or lactose. It is
free of grains period. You’re not gonna

but I have to tell you in my experience
of 20-some years, a plant-based diet has

plant-based diet heirs will eat. Folks

Ty Bollinger: Without mentioning specific conditions– I’ve interviewed a lot of people over the
last year and many of the people used a
very healthy type of a ketogenic diet to
reverse certain things that were going on in their body.
Charlene Bollinger: Just rebooting their
health. Where they were very
unhealthy today because of this they are

Ty Bollinger: 33. I like that.
Charlene Bollinger: Wow he said 33 okay that’s why
Ty Bollinger: This is the start off of the keep the TTAC Keto 360 challenge.

healthy way I love it. It’s not just
bacon and butter and burgers. There’s so much more there’s–
Ty Bolligner: There’s no bacon.
Charlene Bollinger: Yeah
there’s herbs and there’s greens and
there’s I think even a few fruits
involved in that. So can you talk about
the type of foods that we can look
forward that are healthy as compared to
the conventional the thing that
everybody things up with keto?
Dr. Axe: Yeah I want to say this too you know this diet
does have a lot of plants in it you know.
There’s a lot of vegetables a lot of
herbs a lot of spices and I think a lot
of people think that, “hey when you’re on
keto,” as Jordan mentioned earlier, “it’s
mmm it’s all meat,” you know. And actually
there’s a little meat but actually
that’s probably more like 10-15 percent
of the diet. There’s loads of fats that
do come from plants. So again the
majority or more of the diet is plants
than not but you know some of the foods
and things we can expect are just giving
example like one of my favorite recipes
I do I do a keto collagen smoothie in
the morning. That’s one of things I
want to say here like these keto protein
powders taste incredible. You know one of
the things I think a lot of people have
trouble with on the keto diet is you’re
removing carbs and most sweets so people
do have a sweet tooth well this is
sweetened with natural stevia and monk
fruit. These plant-based sweeteners
that are so healthy and so this taste
it’s kind of like malted chocolate
milkshake. And so mixing this with some
coconut milk and doing a collagen
smoothie in the morning. Like the recipe
I love is coconut milk one scoop of this
keto protein powder half of an avocado
actually add some creaminess to it and
maybe like a half a cup of raspberries.
But it tastes absolutely awesome so for
breakfast I’ll do a keto smoothie a lot of
times and like an omelet. You know we’ll
do like a veggie omelet with a little
bit of goat cheese on it it’s fantastic.
There’s some breakfast
we have keto waffles and pancakes you’re
using almond flour coconut flour. For
lunch we have things like salmon
teriyaki which is really really good. You
can do grass-fed burgers. You can do
turkey burgers. We’ll do like big salads
you know with lots of olive oil and
fresh herbs and tomatoes and cucumber.
And for dinner you know again we’ve
got just so many great great recipes
here here in the book. But and we mix it
up. We do you know everything from you
know we do at steak you know that
there’s steak with– I love doing this for
veggies well Chelsea and I take a big
baking sheet and we put on cauliflower
and broccoli and asparagus and we just
coat it in coconut oil and grass-fed
butter, sprinkle some sea salt and spices
on there and put it in the oven for
about 375 for 45 minutes. I mean that
tastes fantastic. So we’ve got a lot of
these recipes that are all part of the
program.
Charlene Bollinger: Wow.
Jordan Rubin: You can even do you can
even do a pasta with zucchini noodles.
You can do pizza with cauliflower crust.
Today it’s never been easier to live
this way than today and what I love
about what Josh was saying this is a
high antioxidant diet. Folks I know that
people talk about fruits and vegetables
being very healthy and they are but
really herbs and spices have dozens of
times more antioxidants by their weight
than fruits and vegetables. We have a
liberal recommendation in Keto 360 of
using spices like cinnamon and turmeric
and ginger. Ty you just came back from
recording your amazing soon to be
released documentary. I have often
surmised that Americans are the least
spiced nation on the planet. Literally
the only spice we consume on a regular
basis is pepper and peppers wonderful.
But we miss out on all the nutmeg has
amazing benefits allspice, clove. And then
the herbs such as parsley, sage,
rosemary and thyme. Yeah I’m an sng fan
but I anyway people are like what are
you talking about. Maybe some of the
people to know your age, but herbs
and spices do not provide a lot of carbs
they’re low calorie and they are
liberally applied in the Keto 360

nutrient-dense diet. I don’t care what
says this is not keto the way that some

begun in a minute fasting don’t eat
dairy or grain is this a good fit?
Dr. Axe: Yeah I
think it’s a great fit. You know one of
the things we do with the Keto 360
program is incorporate intermittent
fasting as part of the program. One of
the biggest benefits of fasting people
don’t realize is a lot of times people a
lot of times people think that foods
heal them they don’t the body heals
itself. And so when you take that time
off where you’re not eating this large
meal for breakfast and you’re letting
your body rest. Your body can start to
repair itself. It really is pretty
amazing and so we’ve been able to do
that with this program. So yeah in this
program again the majority of the foods
in there. It’s going to be lots of
healthy sources of fat from avocados and
coconut and olives and olive oil and
nuts and seeds. It’s going to be from
things like wild caught salmon. And if
somebody is
doesn’t do dairy that’s not gonna be a
problem on this program at all because
we have so many vegetables and other
foods that know that somebody can follow
this program very easily without doing
dairy.
Charlene Bollinger: Well you know also with eggs somebody
had mentioned eggs you mentioned that in
your morning shake you put avocado to
make it creamy and that’s such a because
I know it’s a good replacement for eggs
in some instances. Because you can also
put an egg in there to add that
creaminess and it adds a good taste but
the avocado is a good replacement there.
So there’s always something to replace.
Dr. Axe: Yeah and I’ll say there’s really easy
replacements if you’re looking to
replace an egg and recipe again from a
texture standpoint avocados can be great
but from a from a holding together
standpoint one tablespoon of chia seeds
mixed with three tablespoons of water is
probably the most in terms of
consistency the most exact thing you can
use.
Jordan Rubin: And that’s for recipes such as
pancakes you can make various desserts
in the Keto 360 program using Chia
and/or flax because both of them bind
water and they have that sort of
mouthfeel like an egg. Now mind you I
think eggs are incredible and edible I
love eggs but we know that some people
are sensitive to eggs. We do recommend
the highest quality eggs but you
absolutely do not need to eat eggs on
Keto 360. You don’t need to eat dairy. You
don’t need to eat red meat.
So let’s bust all the myths all at once.

speaking of chia seeds, dude I’m telling
my age here, even though apparently you

the chia seeds are fantastic you know
healthy fats and so one of things that
Josh just said about fasting is that
that is the way that the body heals. If
you look at animals in nature when they
have known they’re sick when they have
something going on they don’t eat.
They’re almost to a T. Every species of
animal in the wild fasts when they’re sick. So
there’s something to be said for that.
Your body does self heal. Food a lot of
times gets in a way.
Jordan Rubin: There is and that

Charlene Bollinger: Funny. Okay so
we’ve got another question here from
Manny. Hi Manny. She says are you all
still are you all starting the three-day
feast on Saturday or before Sunday I’d
like to try truck or track beside you.
And no actually we’re starting that now
because on Saturday is when we plan to
go shopping. We do have a lot of
ingredients in our home to start the
keto right now. And we really are
starting that right now but we’re gonna
go through that feasting stage right now
into the birthday. And then you’re you’re
wanting to do that too yeah we could we
could actually feasts during the
birthday and then really start hardcore
on Sunday. So what do you think is that
decision sure.
Ty Bollinger: We will start today
but you can start today as well.
Charlene Bollinger: Feasting.

Speaking of intermittent fasting we’ve
done that on and off with I think it
does make us feel great and I didn’t
realize I never really enjoyed breakfast.
After I kind of grew up got out on my
own and never ate breakfast and people
didn’t understand it. But I felt great. I
was working out. I loved being in the Sun.
And I just never ate breakfast and it
didn’t take a lot of food to live. Until
I met Ty I didn’t really eat
very much heat like that. Wow he eats
a lot of food. So but I realized that the
principles behind that though that I was
feeling so good because you don’t need
all that food. You don’t need to get up
and just eat a load of pancakes every
day. Although it’s fun for a feasting
phase or a birthday.
Jordan Rubin: And if you want to
fall asleep so here’s something that I
will tell you for 21 years I have
practiced intermittent fasting virtually
every day. Josh will tell you because his
joke is well don’t no one order anything
for Jordan. He never eats the
truth is I do eat and I tried to figure
out looking back in my life why in
school when I had lunch and then a
certain class did I have the worst
grades the worst behavior and fall
asleep. Because I was eating a bunch of
food that was high in sugar
carbohydrates, etc. And I have learned
through my own body that I do better
when I haven’t eaten. Guess what I’ve
eaten today today nothing. Now that’s not
my intention. I was very busy with
meetings we had this webinar I promise
you whether it’s working out athletic
performance certainly a meeting or even
television or a seminar. I never eat
prior why because my mind’s sharper my
body’s running on fat and I don’t feel
like I’m going to fall over. However not
everyone has to do that like me. We have
created a real easy I’ll call it a
simple system to practice intermittent
fasting whether you’re on a keto plan or
not. And we call it the intermittent
fasting challenge. I’m going to sneak
around again and grab this document.
Charlene Bollinger: You
know Jordan. while you get that I want to
add this information. This is really
interesting is I’m listening to you talk
about the intermittent fasting and this
is fascinating I want to hear more
specifically about this. But Ty and I
just recently started as we’re getting
into this we’re doing keto foods and
we’re still in the feasting face but but
my body now I have not been in taking
any sugar. I’m really into the keto but
we’re in the feasting phase, but today
like Jordan I’ve been so busy running
our company and getting ready to come
here and meet you right here that I have
not eaten one thing and you know what I
feel great. I mean I’m like right now
shocked because normally if I get to the
place where I realize Oh wow
and the children could testify to this
and my kids I forgot to eat I’m starting
to feel it. And so I have to because I
get busy that I don’t eat and I start
kind of crashing. Right now I have so
much energy and I I’m putting it
together. It’s this it’s this keto. The
the lack of sugar and the the healthy
fats that I’m taking in honey. I’m just
now realizing this. well your your feeding
off your stored fat and the truth is I
did research and interviewed so my older
relatives. I said, “Grandma what do you eat?” This
was years ago. “What do you eat for
breakfast?” “Oh well we maybe had a half an
apple that I grabbed from the neighbor’s
tree while I was walking to school.” And
then I looked at other cultures and I
looked at biblical history and I
realized people couldn’t eat a big meal
in the morning. First of all they didn’t
they were busy they had to work they had
to go get their food, find their food
grow their food. And they would eat right
when the Sun was about to set because
there were no battles going on there
weren’t wasn’t a hunt to be had there
wasn’t work or trade because they didn’t
have light back in the day. So they ate
according to their circadian rhythms.
This nonsense of breakfast, first of all
it’s when you break your fast, the fact
that it’s the morning and it’s puffed
sugared cereal and skim milk that’s a
cereal company that developed that.
People literally think you’ll go to jail
and if for your life if you don’t give
your kids box cereal and skim milk every
day. That is diabetes by lunch that’s a
scam. Truth is I don’t get hungry in the
morning either and you know what
sometimes when I am I’ll eat but I wake
up and I generally I drink a lot of
water and then there’s certain– I love
teas and herbal infusions. I love to
consume sometimes organic coffee with
some of the keto type products in it. But
the truth is my body works better
burning fat and this isn’t about losing
weight. I don’t have a lot of weight I
need to lose. It’s about human
performance. History has shown that
intermittent fasting wasn’t something
people tried to do it was just a way of
life and this intermittent fasting

Jordan Rubin: Absolutely and by
the way what someone when they say
Daniel diet Daniel in the second chapter
was a 15 year old boy who was brought
into a pagan country Babylon and he had
the opportunity to eat all the best
foods in the training program. Kind of
like he was a on a college football team
and they put all this food out in front
of him he did not want to be like
everyone else because some of those
foods were forbidden by God. So he
decided to eat depending on the
translation vegetables and drink water
or eat pulses which could be like
sprouted grains and only water for ten
days. And when they examined Daniel they
found him to be greater in health
physically, mentally, emotionally and
ultimately they said he had ten times
more wisdom than all those that were
following the Kings best diet and guess
what they did they fired that
nutritionist and they all adopted the Daniel diet. So first of all you can do a
Daniel program right with Keto 360, but
absolutely with the forever phase you
can go back and forth from a Daniel type

butter and bacon, I know we’re making fun
of that, they were seeing results that
were phenomenal on these children that
were having challenges and needed brain
support. And so I want to say that the
keto principles work but when they’re
combined with fruits, vegetables, herbs,
spices, adaptogens, proper exercise, and
intermittent fasting, we see dynamic

or I think raw grass-fed beef maybe or
animal products non-pasteurized non
homogenized milk and other dairy is it
okay to consume on this ketogenic
lifestyle?”
Jordan Rubin: Well you do not want to
consume fluid dairy. So that you would
not want to consume milk, yogurt, or kefir
because the carbs are too high. However,
you can consume healthy cheese. Josh and
I personally like goat and sheep cheese
or if you find raw cheese from a2 dairy
that’s for another topic but you can do
soft and hard cheeses. Do organic
pasture-raised raw we like sheep and
goat they tend to be less allergenic. You
can do butter and ghee, but you do not
want to consume things like ice cream or
fluid dairy because one cup of milk has
12 grams of carbs and whether it’s raw
or pasteurized you’re still getting
those carbs. We believe the best part of
the dairy really is the cream and the
high fat portion. You get that with ghee,
which is a traditional Indian food.
Grass-fed butter is amazing and the
cheeses. So you do not want to consume
fluid dairy products on Keto 360. That’s
where you’re more likely to have the
congestion, the phlegm, etc .But folks I’m
a huge fan of raw dairy if you’re going

coffee on this diet and if so how much? Talk to me. This is my life.
Dr. Axe: Yeah so I’ll
say this to my wife was a barista for
years we have in fact her Christmas gift
this year was an espresso machine so and
and she’s done it must be okay because
she’s done the keto diet frequently seen
amazing results with in fact she didn’t
really notice great changes in her
hormones. So women who are looking to
improve their hormonal health
has a great thing but but yeah you can
do coffee. Here’s the thing I do want to
say about coffee is it’s one of the most
sprayed plants out there today. So if
you’re consuming coffee you need to buy
one that is either certified organic or
that you know has never been sprayed
with chemicals or pesticides. You want to
look for some that are mold free healthy
high-quality. If it’s not if it’s not
grown right it’s low in something called
theanine and if you ever drink coffee
you get a little bit sort of jittery
that’s because it’s not quality. When
you’re drinking quality coffee and
espresso beans there’s a good healthy
energy about it where you’re not getting
those jitters but I also want to say
this you know probably 2 cups is sort of
the limit. I think when you go to 3 and 4
and beyond it starts to be too much
caffeine especially after you know
especially after afternoon. If you’re
drinking it at night it definitely can
affect your sleep at night. So again I
would say hey two cups of coffee or
espresso or two servings a day but I
typically wouldn’t go over that.
Jordan Rubin: And we
actually provide recipes in the Keto 360

coffee 360. So how to round out a healthy
coffee you can actually take a scoop of
keto protein vanilla or chocolate blend
it in your coffee. I do that frequently
put your coffee that you brew I like
French press put it in a blender put one
scoop of keto protein chocolate or
vanilla
you’ve got your sweetener you’ve got
your creamer and you’ve got a great
start to the day a grand total of 2 to 3
grams of carbs loaded with good fats
adaptogenic herbs it’s like your
superfood power fat coffee all-in-one.
And I mentioned as Dr. Axe mentioned one
to two cups a day and I know people
don’t consume cups I’ve seen coffee cups
that are this size but most most

have an espresso machine. I make

Can we put cream in our coffee? Because
we were mentioning don’t do milk and
milk has higher carb content so what
would you recommend because the cream
seems to have a lot less it’s almost
akin to cheese. So I do a little bit of
cream would you say that would be acceptable.
Jordan Rubin: The least carb creamer
would be ghee. Ghee as absolutely no carbs. Butter has a tiny bit. Cream has probably
one gram per ounce. And that’s two
tablespoons. So the answer is yes. It’s
fine get
organic grass-fed cream, which is widely
available now at grocery stores, health
food stores and clubs as you mentioned. I
recommend trying some grass-fed butter
or some ghee. Not everyone can wrap their
head around that but any of those are
fine. There’s also coconut milk. A lot of
Dr. Axe’s recipes involve coconut cream.
Where you can buy a can of organic
coconut and this time of year when it’s
cold. Even though you’re in a t-shirt.
We’re all cold. You scoop that off and
that’s co– or find a low carb coconut
creamer. But absolutely organic grass-fed cream is fine.
Charlene Bollinger: Okay I feel better about
life in general because I do have a
little cream. My kids know. I have a
little cream in my coffee and I was
looking at the carb content it’s a lot
lower than the milk. Absolutely. So I felt
like that was okay. So I think that was
the right answer. I’m feeling great. Okay
so now on to the next, Jan. Hi Jan. What is
the difference in eating on the feast
and the fire?
Jordan Rubin: Well the feast days we’re very sensitive
to why diets don’t work because we did
not want to come out of another diet. And
one of the reasons diets don’t work is
people hear great information or they
see it on TV or read about it and they
go home and they just went shopping and
have all this food and that’s their
first excuse. Well I can’t go on the diet
today because I just bought all this XYZ.
So there’s two reasons why we want you
to do the feast number one we want you
to psychologically feel great so when
you go into a 3 day feast are you scared?
No you’re like let’s get this on I want
instant access. We’re gonna have you eat
all the healthy foods you want but we
are gonna encourage you to start adding
more healthy fats. Avocado, olive oil. One
thing and don’t yell at me
have a salad and have an extra
tablespoon of healthy dressing or oil.
Oh sorry you’re not gonna yell at me.
Have an extra scoop of cream in your
coffee right. So we want you to start
getting your body trained to being a fat
burning furnace. So we want you to feel
excited going in. So three days you’re
going to build up your glycogen stores.
You’re going to psychologically feel
great about doing this and then the fire
phase is where we start practicing
intermittent fasting. We lower the sugars
and the starches and you get right into
the program
where you can consume– This is this is
the fire phase shopping list. This is not
the feast phase look at the list of fats
and oils proteins. Look at vegetables, hey
fruits. This is fire phase.
However, we are encouraging you to
consume the best forms. I love this
seasonings and herbs and spices. This is
where it’s at. So believe it or not
delicious foods like this are on the
fire phase. Don’t think that it’s gonna
be all sort of rocks and twigs and bark.
That’s what people used to accuse me of
eating. The fire phase is amazing but the
feast phase is really kind of clean out
your cupboard, add some healthy foods
into it, just to get yourself over that
hump. Because I have lectured thousands
of times on eating plans and people
starting programs and they always say
well I’ll start Monday. I’ll start the
first of the month.
I’ll start the first of the year and it
never comes. Well after that dinner
meeting or party. What if you’ve got a
couple of events the next few days? Go on
the feast phase. Get yourself going and
fill up your tank emotionally and
physically and then get ready to have
that 27 days of fire. And when I say fire,
fire up your energy, fire up your brain,
reshape your body. That’s what you’re
gonna do. I’m getting excited. Forget
unboxing. Let’s do like a you know buffet.
You know kind of like a you know
bring some food and let’s eat cause I’m
hungry.
Charlene Bollinger: Wow. I’m ready to go. I mean I
don’t know about you out there, if you
haven’t gotten this I recommend highly
do it now because like Jordan said and
he keeps reminding us tomorrow just does
not exist. We have today. So do this today
because tomorrow we don’t know what’s
going to happen. And typically when
tomorrow does become today we’re putting
it off again to tomorrow. So really
literally tomorrow just does not exist.
Ty Bollinger: It reminds me of a song that was one of
my dad’s favorite songs his one of his
favorite artists was Roger Whitacre and
he sang a song called new world in the
morning and then the in that song it
says don’t you know tomorrow never comes.
Because we’re always putting something
off to tomorrow to never happens.
Jordan Rubin: And this
reminds me of a saying by one of my
favorite philosophers Mick in the Rocky
Series there is no tomorrow Rock.
Ty Bollinger: There is no tomorrow, Rock. I was just watching Rocky 3 last night.
Jordan Rubin: That’s my third favorite movie of all time.
Ty Bollinger: One of the most touching
movie histories when Mick dies and he’s
crying on him. Yeah we watched that last night.
Yeah that has nothing to do with Keto 360. Oh wait it does have to do with Keto. Remember Rocky
caught the chicken and he ate [inaudible]
Jordan Rubin: Spilt them
on his sweatshirt now all over the place.
Charlene Bollinger: Yeah he was hardcore. All right one
more question from Cathy. Hi Cathy out
there. “Can the intermittent fasting be
done at different times? For example, can
you fast from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
instead of 8:00 p.m. to noon?”
Jordan Rubin: Great
question and absolutely I will warn you
intermittent fasting works great but you
really want to intermittent fast at
least at dinner. Because I’ve done it
where I eat in the morning and don’t eat
at night it just doesn’t work the same.
And this flies in the face of the
conventional wisdom or lies that say
that breakfast is the most important
meal of the day and you should stop
eating sometime midday. It is so hard.
Well you can eat at night and be
satisfied and then go hibernate. There’s
a physiological reason why that works –
Dr. Axe: Yeah and I think it just depends on a
person. If that’s your preference and you
can do it and feel fine doing it I think
the most important thing is is hey your
body needs that 16 hours at least to
recharge and rejuvenate and cleanse
itself. But again I agree with what
Jordans saying to, but I think hey if you
prefer doing that feasting winter that
way. I think for most people it works –
hey miss breakfast start eating at lunch
and but you can do it either way.
