The BEST Keto Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe!

Yummy yum-yum!
I’m gonna share with you a keto
chocolate chip recipe that, when you eat
your chocolate chip cookie, several hours
later you’re gonna test your ketones and
you’ll see that this cookie helps to
bring them up. It’s because of the
special ingredients that are in it and I
want to show you the simple steps and
all of the ingredients that you’re going
to need to make it happen. So we’ve got
the oven preheating and we’re ready to
go with our almond and our coconut flour.
So you’re going to use a quarter of a
cup of almond flour. You may have heard
me say this before: you can change these
ratios. It depends on how fat adapted
your body is, so a lot of times I’m going
to do 3/4 of a cup of coconut, because I
want the saturated fats, and just a
quarter cup of almond. So we’re gonna
add 3/4 of a teaspoon of Himalayan salt…
two… three… getting all of those good minerals. Then you’re going to add 3/4 of a
teaspoon of the cinnamon and the
cinnamon is great to also help your body
fat burn. Then you’re going to add half
of a teaspoon of the baking soda — here’s
half your teaspoon of baking soda right
in here —
and you’re gonna add, sort of to your
taste, monk fruit. So this is a monk fruit
sweetener and we’ve got actually a
quarter of a cup here but you can go way
down and that it’s just going to depend
on you so now we have all the dry
ingredients in our food processor and
we’re going to pulse it a couple times
just make sure it blends nicely.
Okay, that was easy! So now we’re gonna
add in — this is 1/4 of a cup of grass-fed
butter — I’m gonna add that right in. We’re
gonna add 2 tablespoons of our Simply
Good Fats Organic Coconut Oil.
I love getting all of these good
saturated fats. There’s a big difference
in how our body utilizes different types
of fats; whenever you’re in a high fat
ketogenic lifestyle, when you’re looking
to really utilize all of the ketone
bodies that you have, and the best way to
get there is with the MCT oil. So we add
a quarter of a cup of MCT oil. Now here’s
the thing with MCTS:
when you add these to the recipe they’re
gonna add a satiating benefit. Did you
know that MCTs really help to curb
cravings? They help to support all of our
hormonal system but especially hormones
that relate to cravings like leptin and
what you’ll find as you ingest the MCTS —
I get them into my diet as many times a
day as possible — so here you’re getting
them in with your chocolate chip cookies,
which is awesome. I take all of my salad
dressings and I make them half MCT, I add
it to the nut butters that my children
eat so they’re getting several
tablespoons of MCT every day, and the
reason I’m so completely in love with
MCT — actually quite obsessed with it, so
much so that I had to go and source it
myself and put it into our own brand — but
the reason I got so excited about it is
because what it does is it bypasses the
digestive system — it goes right to the
liver — and it allows your body to make
the precious ketones. And so, when you
take a tablespoon of MCT, within 4 hours
you’re producing twice as many
ketone bodies and ketone bodies are the
fuel that your brain loves, that your
heart loves, that allow you to burn body
fat as fuel so you’re getting almost
like an oxymoron here when it comes to
chocolate chip cookies
you’re getting fat-burning, ketone-building
chocolate-chip cookies. So now
we’re going to go to the next phase
and blend up the ingredients. Great, that was
so easy and fast. And you think this
whole recipe is gonna take you about ten
minutes to make and then it’s gonna go
right in the oven. You’re gonna be adding
two eggs; again, you’re getting the good
fats. So many people have thought over the
years that the egg white was really what
we wanted, but now we know better. We now
know there’s so much value into the egg
yolks. Now these are keto-friendly dark
chocolate unsweetened. You’re gonna add
1/2 a cup of those, and you can add more
or less it just depends on you, and now
you’re gonna add half a teaspoon of
vanilla. And, we’re gonna pulse it a
couple more times and we’ll be ready to
go. We’re ready to start placing our
delicious cookie dough right on our
parchment paper.
