Sugar free High Protein Ice Cream Recipe-Protein Treats by Nutracelle

hey guys welcome to Protein Treats by
Nutracelle I’m Melanie Wildman and I am
so excited today because we are making
no churn ice cream so what does no churn
mean it means no machine I’m going to
show you guys how easy it is to make
super delicious yummy ice cream we are
making mint chocolate chips so let’s get
started so for this recipe you really
only need a handful of ingredients so
I’m going to show you here we’ve got 2
cups of whipping cream now this is about
a 35% fat whipping cream anything that’s
over 33% will whip up really really
nicely and so I’ve got 2 cups here and
then you’ll notice I have another half a
cup of whipping cream over here to the
side and that’s because we’re going to
use it a little bit differently and then
we have our vanilla Nutralean that
we’re going to be using now our Nutracelle Nutralean I created it
because it’s really high in prebiotic
fiber and a hundred percent whey protein
those are really important for helping
you feel full and lose weight I’m going
to show you how we put this ice cream
all together and you’re actually going
to be able to lose some weight and cheat
with some ice cream now we’re going to
start over here with our half a cup of
whipping cream and I’m just going to go
ahead and put this in my bowl and what
I’m going to do is start to put it in my
ingredients for the actual ice cream
flavor so I’ve got some peppermint
extract here you can use mint extract
one thing that I would not recommend is
you know those syrups like a tehrani
syrup or da Vinci syrup they actually
have a little bit too much water in them
so they’re not going to get that dense
flavor that you need to get inside your
ice cream so we’re using just a baking
extract I have about a teaspoon here you
can use more if you want a really really
minty flavor
and I’m going to put in just a pinch of
salt so pinch of salt is probably half
teaspoon or so of salt and then I also
want to start putting in my food
coloring so I’m just going to put a few
drops of green food coloring not too
much because I want to see nice soft
minty colors and then last but not least
of course is our vanilla Nutralean and
the reason why vanilla also smells and
tastes so amazing is because we use real
vanilla all of our ingredients are
natural and amazing and they taste
really really good so I’m going to go
ahead and I’m actually putting six
scoops in here I know that seems like a
lot but that’s what’s going to give us
that really nice thick thick that creamy
creamy ice cream that we’re going to need to
fold the rest of our cream into okay so
as you’re mixing your cream in you’re
going to want to add in another quarter
cup of water so you just go ahead and
add that in and make sure that you mix
it up until it’s really nice and smooth
and you don’t have any clumps if it’s
not quite green enough and you know you
want a little extra green extract go
ahead and put some more food coloring in
so I am actually going to add a couple
more drops just so it’s really nice and
colored when I mix in the whipped cream
that we’re going to make okay so what
makes our ice cream no churn is that
we’re using real whipping cream and
that’s going to put all sorts of little
air bubbles into our ice cream and
that’s what churning does so if you have
an ice cream maker and the paddle goes
around and around and around really what
it’s doing is it’s putting thousands of
little bubbles inside the ice cream and
thats what makes it so that you can
scoop it and it doesn’t crystallize it
doesn’t get that nasty crystallized
texture that you get if for example you
let your ice cream melts that you’ve
gotten from the store and then it
refreezes you don’t want that we want it
to be real creamy we want it to taste
like it’s turned ice cream except of
course our secret is that it’s not so
I’m just going to whip this up when you
whip up your ice cream you want to make
sure that you get nice
stiff peaks with your whipping cream but
you don’t want to over whip it there we
go so we have our whipped cream already
here and now what we’re going to do is
we’re going to fold our whipped cream
into our mint mixture and we’re going to
do that I’m going to show you how to
fold it’s not nearly as hard as you
think and in almost no time we’re going
to have our own churned ice cream we’re
going to take about a third maybe maybe
not quite a third and we’re going to
just put that right into our mixture
like this and but that’s going to help
us to get this mixture a little bit
lighter a little bit more aerated before
we go and start folding all of our
whipped cream in so I’m just going to go
ahead and stir this pretty gently almost
like I was folding it but I’m still
really stirring it so I’m going to go
ahead here and mix this pretty close to
all the way through but it still should
have a few white streaks in it
all right now we’re going to take our
whipped cream and we’re going to go
ahead and put all of it right on the
very top of our mixture just like that
and then we’re going to fold our whipped
cream in and what that’s going to do is
it’s going to preserve that lightness
that you need in your ice cream so the
way that you fold it’s not nearly as
difficult as people think take your
spatula and draw a line right down the
middle all the way to the bottom of your
bowl pull it towards you and then you
want to fold it over all the way over
the whole mixture so we’re going to turn
our bowl we’re going to do the same
thing we’re going to slip cut all the
way towards us and then we’re going to
fold right over the top and we’re just
going to keep doing that what you don’t
want to do is get in there and start
stirring like this because what that
will do is break up all your little
bubbles and then your ice cream will be
too dense and it will crystallize in the
freezer so you definitely don’t want
that so we’re just going to go ahead
we’re very gently going to fold our
mixture
all right so once you’ve got your
mixture folded you don’t want it to be
super perfect it can have some streaks
through it that’s what makes it look so
delicious when it comes out of the
freezer so now what you’re going to do
is mix in your chocolate chips so I have
some unsweetened chocolate that I’ve
chopped off if you have some sugar-free
chocolate chips perfect go ahead and put
those in I’m just going to sprinkle it
right over the top and I’m going to
continue with my folding so make sure
you don’t start stirring again make sure
you keep folding so I’m just going to
fold in our chocolate here and turn cut
fold turn cut fold turn there you go and
now what you’re going to do is take a
loaf pan now I do have a ceramic one
here it’s not as good if you have a
metal one that’s what you really should
use it freezes the best and you can even
use plastic ones with a lid on them
those are great for your ice creams but
I’m going to use this and then I want to
cover it in saran wrap and we’re just
going to take our mixture here and I’m
going to pour it right into the pan just
like that oh looks so good look at that
can you believe this was really
technically only really three
ingredients I know we had our flavorings
but its your vanilla Nutralean it’s real
cream little water and that’s all you
need to make delicious ice cream so I’m
going to go like this just so it gets
that really pretty look look so great
that look this is simply my freezer for
at least four hours and I’ll show you
how great this is turned out okay so I
have pulled out another one that I
already had freezing and I’m going to
show you just how amazing this is this
has been in the freezer this one
actually overnight but you really need
at least at four hours and look at this
you guys a perfect scoop
look at that absolutely thick creamy
churned
looking ice cream and we’ve done it with
almost two ingredients we’ve got our
cream we’ve got our water and we’ve got
our vanilla Nutralean and then some of
our flavoring and no machine needed
