(upbeat music)
– Hey, Munchies, welcome to the channel.
If you’re new, I am Alyssia
and today I have got a Sprouts haul.
So, I shared a $57 Organic
Sprouts meal-prep video with you
last month and I had so many
comments saying, more Sprouts.
So, here’s a haul video
sharing Sprouts brand products.
And oh man, it was hard to choose
because I could have
gone on and on and on.
There are so many good products.
If you don’t already know,
Sprouts Farmers Market
is a grocery store
offering fresh, natural,
and organic foods at awesome prices.
They really make healthy
eating fun and affordable.
Sprouts actually has six
private label brands.
Sprouts Brand, the Butcher Shop
at Sprouts, the Fish Market
at Sprouts, Sprouts Market Corner Deli,
Sprouts Essentials, and Sprouts Vitamins.
I shared the air-chilled
chicken from the Butcher Shop
in my last video, but the items today will
focus on Sprouts Brand packaged goods.
They’ve got every-day staples,
but also tons of unique
specialty items and they
all taste delicious,
are nutritious, and the
prices just can’t be beat.
Okay, first up, is this line
of crispy vegetables and fruit.
They have Crispy Mixed
Fruit, Crispy Onion,
Crispy Jackfruit, and
Crispy Mixed Vegetables
and the only ingredients are
whatever the ingredient is,
so onion and rice bran oil.
The savory ones have salt,
but the jackfruit and mixed fruit do not
and, oh my gosh, what a
great chip alternative.
They are addicting, but I also
love how Sprouts has jumped
on the train of putting
the nutrition as per bag.
Okay, so, it’s not an arbitrary three
and a half servings per bag.
It just tells me how
much is in the whole bag,
because probably I’m
gonna eat the whole bag.
The onions and vegetables
are crispy and salty
and the jackfruit and
mixed fruit are sweet.
The jackfruit was actually
ripe when they prepared
this because it’s like a sweet
treat instead of a salty one.
And Sprouts Brand items are
always free of artificial
flavors, colors, sweeteners,
and preservatives,
as you’ll see throughout the video.
Next up are the Sprouts
plant-protein-based pastas.
So, this is an organic Chickpea
Fusilli, but they also have,
I think, a red lentil one and a green one.
The only ingredient is
organic chickpea flower,
which is pretty cool.
So, chickpeas are obviously high
in fiber and proteins,
so, so is this pasta.
It’s got eight grams of fiber
and 12 grams of protein per serving
and it looks like regular
pasta and you can actually
cook it just like regular pasta, too.
Pretty cool.
Watermelon Juice!
So, this is one of my favorite
ingredients that I found.
It is 100% juice and
watermelon juice is probably
my favorite juice of all time.
Every summer I go to every
juice place in LA to get it,
but so many places, whether
it’s a grocery store or a juice
shop, they put lemon and lime
in their watermelon juice
and I don’t want that, I just
want the sweetness of the
watermelon and that’s what this is.
The only ingredient is
watermelon juice and it is sweet
and delicious and my dog loves it, too.
Next up, Coconut Rolls.
So, these might be actually my
favorite item of the entire haul.
These Coconut Rolls, they have chocolate
and chocolate-dipped as well.
I haven’t tried to chocolate-dipped ones.
My favorite are the plain, but oh my gosh,
I can’t stop eating them,
I can’t stop buying them.
I’m actually lying to you
because I’ve got more and more
and more and I just ate a bag last night.
They are cripsy and crunchy
and they’re so clean.
I can’t believe how clean
the ingredients are.
Coconut milk, rice flour, coconut sugar,
egg, sesame, and sea salt.
Six ingredients, that’s it.
And a serving, so again,
Sprouts has it down with the labels.
It’s the new nutrition label,
so it tells me added sugar.
It tells me how many per
serving, which is nine rolls,
which is not a bad serving
size, but it also tells me
for the whole container, so
if I end up eating the whole
container, which I do, then I know
what I’m getting into here.
But these are my favorite clean
dessert every single night.
They’re flaky like a crisp pastry
and they’re just so delicious.
Highly recommended.
If you get anything, get these.
These oil sprays are my next item.
This one is Avocado Oil and
this one is Grass-Fed Ghee
with Liquid Coconut and
Grapeseed Oil Spray.
It is so hard to find clean sprays.
I’ve talked about this a lot on
my channel and Instagram before.
So many sprays had
additives and crap in them
and these, the only
ingredients are the oils.
They’re also about half the
price that I’ve seen anywhere
else for as clean as they
are and they work super well.
It’s really hard to find these
without fillers and preservatives.
And, remember, I’ve talked
about olive oil before.
So, Extra Virgin Olive Oil,
a lot of the sprays that you
find now are Extra Virgin
Olive Oil, which is fine,
but I don’t actually recommend cooking
with Extra Virgin Olive
Oil because it has such
a low smoke point, so you
don’t really wanna apply
heat to it because it
can become carcinogenic.
So, that’s why I always
use Avocado Oil or,
now that I’ve found
it, Ghee in spray form.
Okay, I had to get this
because I had never seen
it before anywhere else:
Raw Coconut Vinegar.
Say what?
So, pretty much, it’s like
an Apple Cider Vinegar substitute.
The only ingredient is
Organic Coconut Vinegar.
It’s made from Coconut tree sap.
How cool is that?
So, you can use this as
a substitute in soups,
sauces, marinades, smoothies, however you
would use Apple Cider Vinegar.
It also notes that is has
the Mother Included and what
that means is that it has the
culture of beneficial bacteria
that actually turned the sap
from whatever the ingredient
is, so from the Apple Cider or
the coconut sap or whatever,
into vinegar in the first place.
That is what makes it murky
rather than clear and it just
means that it had a bunch
of beneficial acids.
So, it does taste like vinegar.
It’s not as bad as Apple Cider Vinegar.
It’s a little bit more mild
and a little bit sweeter.
It’s definitely more palatable.
I’m not a fan of a drinking vinegar plain.
Cashew Butter, my favorite
kind of nut butter
is Cashew Butter and it’s hard
to find it at so many grocery
stores, so I’m really excited
that Sprouts is selling it.
It’s unsalted and unsweetened.
The only ingredients are
cashews and sunflower oil
and it’s so naturally sweet
it doesn’t need any sugar.
I love to spread it on toast
or crackers or fruit or really
just eat it off of a spoon, it’s so good.
So, this may be the one
item that keeps this haul
healthy-ish because it’s
pretty much like a healthified
Cheeto, but it is addicting,
and some of you probably
know I have a corn puff problem.
I have to buy them from
every store and try them all
and this one did not disappoint
and honestly the ingredients
aren’t terrible and neither
are the macros, but I mean,
just look it, it’s called
Secret Stash and they literally
put, hide it before it disappears.
So, Sprouts knows it’s
good, it’s addicting.
They are gluten free, but
they’re so salty and cheesy
and crunchy and light and they’re
just not gonna disappoint.
I have to admit, though, this
is not the bag that we filmed
with originally because we
finished the whole thing,
so I had to go and get another one.
We love trying out
different salsas in my house
and garlic is one of my favorite flavors.
This Roasted Garlic one
does not disappoint and,
I gotta say, the ingredients
are pretty impressive
because a lot of salsas have
sugar as an added ingredient
and this one does not and
what Sprouts has done instead
is use lime juice concentrate
for not only a bit of natural
sweetness, but also a hint of lime
and you can really taste it.
It’s mild and savory
and really refreshing.
Next up, are these
Oven-Baked Cheese Bites.
So, obviously, they’re
baked and not fried,
but what’s really cool,
as it says on the front,
made with 100% Italian cheese,
the only ingredient is aged
cheese and again, Sprouts does a great
job with the nutrition labels.
They have this Classic flavor,
but I also found this Pizza
flavor and you guys
know I’m a fan of pizza.
I have a whole YouTube channel about it.
The only ingredients here are the cheese
with natural flavoring and tomato powder.
They are crunchy and
crisp and so satisfying.
They are more dense than a
chip, but they are so salty
and delicious, just like cheese should be.
I also go these with a
coupon and on the website
and app for Sprouts, they have
digital coupons every single
week, so definitely check it out
because I almost always find
a coupon for something I
was already going to buy or something
that I feel intrigued to try.
Okay, this is one item I’m
really excited to share.
Sprouts Organic Raisin Bran.
I’ve talked about Raisin Bran
on the channel many times
before because it’s typically
a really deceivingly unhealthy
cereal because people don’t realize
how much sugar is actually packed into it.
So, Sprouts Brand not only
has less sugar overall,
but also less added
sugar and that’s probably
because they aren’t coating
the raisins in sugar.
It is still totally delicious,
but you don’t have to deal
with quite as much of
a nutritional drawback.
So, if you’re looking for a lower
sugar Raisin Bran, head to Sprouts.
So, broccoli rice is one of my
favorite ingredients to cook
with, but realistically, I’m
not actually gonna make it
and when I buy it fresh, it almost
always goes bad before I finish it.
I have never seen a frozen one
before, but Sprouts has one
and the only ingredients are
broccoli, rice, and salt,
so I can keep it in my freezer
and just heat up what I need.
I use it in the base of bowl
recipes, heat it up for skillet
meals, or any kind of
quick week-night dinner.
Another frozen item that I was excited
to find are these Zucchini Spirals.
Again, the only ingredients
are zucchini and salt.
Another thing that I like
the idea of having zucchini
spirals, but I don’t actually
wanna go through the work
of spiralizing them and now I don’t
have to worry about A, doing
it, or B, them going bad
because they’re frozen and I
can use them whenever I want.
Sprouts is seriously killing
it with their frozen items.
These Hash Browns only have
one ingredient: potatoes.
I had to do a double-take when I saw
this because I couldn’t believe it.
Most frozen hash browns
contain additives like dextrose
or oils or sugars and
all you need is potatoes.
Thank ya, Sprouts, for
keeping it clean, yet again.
And they’re really easy to
cook and they cook up well
in just a little bit of oil.
If you keep them in a flat
layer, they get super crispy.
I actually also got these hash
browns on sale through one
of their ads, so the Sprouts
ads run Wednesday to Wednesday
every single week and so on
Wednesday, you get a double deal
day where you get to benefit
from last weeks’ ads and next weeks’ ads.
They call it Double Ad Wednesday.
You can look at the print ad
in the store or look at the ads
digitally on the website
or in the free app.
The last thing I have are
these frozen sliced bananas.
So, typically, I use bananas
that are on the way out
to freeze and keep for
smoothies, but when I get
on a smoothie kick, like over
summer, sometimes I go to make
a smoothie and I don’t
have any frozen bananas
and I need them ready to go.
I saw these at Sprouts and
I was like, why have I never
thought to buy frozen bananas before?
Probably because I’ve never seen them.
My other grocery stores don’t have them,
so thank goodness for Sprouts.
They’re great for smoothies
over summer, but you can also
thaw them out and use them for baking.
And that is my Sprouts haul!
Thank you so much to Sprouts for teaming
up to make this video possible.
Sprouts is one of my
favorite grocery stores.
I always find new and
exciting things there.
I wanna know which of these
things you’re most excited
to try, so be sure to leave
a comment letting me know
or if you have a favorite sprouts item,
let me know what that is and
if you wanna see more Sprouts
videos, let me know what
you would like to see.
Thank you so much for being here.
I’ll see ya next week
with a brand new episode
and remember, it’s all a
matter of mind over munch.
