Spicy Fried Brussels Sprouts | FryDay | Caveman Keto

my YouTube channel
today we’re going to continue our mini
series entitled
FryDay where we talk about the best
deep-fried keto
foods, we’re actually going to discuss the
Brussels sprout
this is something you might not have liked
as a kid but believe me
when you dice it up and deep fry it, it tastes amazing, let’s get started!
start by setting the deep fryer to its
maximum temperature of 370 degrees
the first step is to wash the brussels
sprouts I like to put them in a giant
bowl
fill it with cold water and I just take
them out one at a time
this way all the dirt settles to the
bottom
slice off the bottom of the Brussels sprouts and then cut them into quarters
Now that you’ve finished quartering the Brussels sprouts
it’s time to get frying
add in a couple handfuls and these are
really gonna steam
so you don’t want too much the same time
it could actually boil over
that’s probably good amount close the
lid before you start frying
and lower it down, you’ll see it goes nuts!
This fryer is really nice because it has a filter right here
and the the oil gets trapped in that area, its just steam coming from the vegetables
not actual grease. After the steam has
died down
you can open the lid and start stirring
the Brussels sprouts
once the brussels sprouts are nice and
golden brown and you can see the
kernels are fried all the way through
their done. You can shake them out try to get most of the oil off
and then drain them on some paper towels
Brussels sprouts on their own are
amazing
the leaves get nice and crisp as you can
see the kernels really fry through
however to add another level of flavor
we can make a sauce. 2 ounces Mayo
1 tablespoon of hot sauce, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
just mix this all together
now toss the brussel sprouts
into the sauce now mix together
you’ve got

well there you have it folks the Brussels
sprouts are fried and all that’s left to do is take
a bite
