Seviyan Kheer Recipe | सेवईया खीर रेसिपी | Sevai Kheer | Vermicelli Kheer Recipe (Hindi)
Hello everyone! This is Aarti Madan, and you’re welcome to my channel.
Our next recipe in the festival series is Seviyan Kheer.
It’s made in lot of homes during auspicious occasions
For this recipe, we’ll need Vermicelli, Sugar, Milk,
Almonds, Raisins, Cashews, Cardamom Powder, and Ghee
First, we’ll add Ghee to a pan, followed by Vermicelli
We need to roast it for 2-3 mins. I’m using thicker Vermicelli for this recipe
Do not let it rest on the pan
Once done, it will give out a very nice aroma
and change its colour as well.
In another pan, heat Milk. We don’t need to reduce it.
We just need to give it 4-5 boils on medium heat.
No need to make it thick. Just boil it.
The milk has boiled now.
Scrape the sides to add the cream back to the milk.
At this point, add roasted Vermicelli to the Milk.
Now cook this on medium heat for 15 mins.
Keep stirring periodically.
Otherwise, you can cook this on medium or low heat.
The Vermicelli looks very thin right now,
but after cooking it’ll double up in size.
After cooking for 15 mins, you can see that Vermicelli
is cooked well and has become bigger in size.
At this point add Sugar.
You may vary the quantity as per your preference.
Next, add Cardamom Powder
And Raisins. You can add any dry fruits of your choice.
Now cook it for 3-4 mins more till the Sugar dissolves.
