REASONS TO START KETO | Health Benefits of ketosis | Why eat keto?

welcome back guys to my channel if
you’re new here I am doing a vlogmas
keto style from the first day of
Christmas all the way down to the 25th
so every day I’m hopefully going to be
trying to post up these videos for you
to give you tips to get through the
holiday season if you’re on the keto
diet so today we’re going to be talking
about reasons why you should start the
keto diet and why you should start it
now or maybe maybe you’ve already done
it and you’ve taken a pause because it’s
the holidays no this is all the reason
why you should start today or why you
should get back on that train today I’m
going to share with you five reasons why
you need to do this
reason number one is that you’re gonna
have so much more energy come Christmas
Day you want that energy you want to
have energy to play with your kids open
up their toys energy to do all of these
busy holiday stuff that’s going on right
now in the month of December stuff like
wrapping presents decorating going to
holiday parties watching your kids sing
Christmas carols watching the holiday
movies and going out and doing all your
fun snow winter activities too you want
to have energy for all that and if
you’re like me like carbohydrates just
bring it down and all I want to do when
I eat carbs is sleep like for hours
afterwards and go to bed early and wake
up groggy and on the keto diet I don’t
have any of that I wake up feeling
refreshed and energetic and ready to go
and get on with my day I don’t want to
take a nap like after I eat or just a
nap throughout the day or go to bed
early I feel great and so that’s like my
primary reason why you should start the
keto diet today reason number two is
that of course you want to lose some
weight for Christmas during the holiday
season I mean who doesn’t want to look
good when they go see friends and family
that they haven’t seen in a long time or
even look good for your New Year’s Eve
party that you’re going to to feel like
the keto diet is one of the quickest
ways that you can drop some weight
especially if you haven’t been on it if
you’re new to it but it’s not uncommon
for people to lose like 5 to 10 pounds
in like the first couple weeks of
starting the keto diet it’s mostly
because they’re getting rid of all of
that excess inflammation and water that
we hold on to because of that
inflammation and so you shut all that
and you’re able to drop a few pounds and
and look your best for the for the
holiday season and also along with that
because of that inflammation people tend
to get puffy like in their face and
their eyes and so it makes them look
like they’re thicker than they actually
are so with keto you’re getting again
getting rid of that inflammation getting
rid of that excess water so you’re not
as
looking which brings me to reason number
three which is that you want to look
your best when people are on the keto
diet I’ve noticed this myself but I know
others have to like your skin just looks
better you’re vibrant you’re radiating
you’re glowing
it’s your skin’s just like has that
really pretty Sheen to it I guess it’s
not dull and you don’t have a lot of
acne just your skin it starts to clear
up and then eventually your hair gets
better too it gets thicker and shinier
and nails get stronger so overall you
you start to your parents looks better
and and there’s a lot of people that say
that it kind of reverses aging too and
it just helps you look more youthful as
well too so reason number four that you
should start the keto diet now is that
it sets you up for success come the New
Year you know a lot of people around
this time of year they say I’m just
gonna enjoy the holidays I just want to
eat when I want to eat like I love all
the comfort food and I’m going to start
January 1st and I feel like that’s
that’s not the way to go if you are not
happy with your health or the way you
look why are you waiting like don’t wait
so that you can pack on an extra 5
pounds or so or just feel miserable
throughout the holiday start it now it’s
gonna set you what for success for all
of your goals and your resolutions come
January first and my last reason reason
number five to start keto now is that
you can actually still enjoy all of
those wonderful holiday foods they’re
just gonna be key to five versions of
them there’s lots of different recipes
out there on Pinterest or Google and
myself included we all have recipes out
there that are keto 5 versions of your
holiday favorites so if you’re thinking
that I’m not gonna start now because I
love eggnog and cookies and fudge well
guess what you could still have all that
on the keto diet it’s just a keto
version of it which tastes just as good
because fat is delicious so no excuse
there another reason why you need
start the keto diet today so I hope you
