Quick-Start Settings for the Keto-Mojo Blood Ketone & Glucose Meter

Mister Mojo here.
I’m going to go through
your quick setup guide.
Your meter comes
pre-installed with batteries
and the time is set to East Coast time.
If you need to adjust the
time for your timezone,
we’re going to show you how to do it.
You open up the back.
There is a yellow-orange setting
button in the back there.
Now, if you got nice nails,
it’s quite easy for you
to press it with your nail like that.
Or you could use a
lancet device like this,
they use the end and just
press it against the side.
If you press it once, the first
thing that’s going to come up
is the date and the date is 2018.
We’re in the right year so
we’re going to press that button
in the back.
Then we come to the month, we’re in May.
That’s correct.
And we’re on the 11th and that is correct.
So next is going to ask me,
do you want a 12-hour clock?
Or a 24-hour clock?
By just pressing this
button once, you will change
between the settings.
I like it as a 12-hour clock.
And the next setting
is going to be the time
and this is showing that it is 8:44 a.m.
Well, actually, we’re a
couple hours ahead of that.
So I’m going to move through.
This is the minute, move through that.
The next thing that it’s asking us
is do we want to have
our glucose measurements?
A milligram per deciliter which is done
in the United States.
Or whether or not we
might want to advance that
and put it in millimoles
which is used by the rest
of the world.
I’m going to keep that at
milligrams per deciliter.
I’m going to set through like that.
The next thing is going to ask
me is if do I want it to beep?
I like it to beep.
So we’ll say yes to that.
dEL means delete, do you
want to delete everything
in your meter?
Nah, we don’t want to do that.
And now, we come to the alarms.
I’m not going to show you
how to set the alarms.
We’ll do that in another video.
But now, we’re just going to push through
each of the four alarms like that
until we come to the last one which is BL,
which means backlight.
You can either have it
off or you can have it on.
We’re going to leave it on for this.
And then finally, that is all the settings
complete and done.
