welcome to PanlasangPinoy
we’ll cook pork with shrimp paste
here are the ingredients
pork belly
shrimp paste
long green chili, you can also use banana pepper
dried bay leaves
tomato
vinegar
onion
garlic
we’ll use salt, ground black pepper, water and cooking oil
let’s start
pre heat pan with cooking oil
then saute garlic, onion and tomato
once cooking oil is hot, add garlic
add onion
then tomato
cook until tomato is soft
now, let’s add pork
set aside the sauted ingredients. Add pork
cook pork until medium brown in color
once color changed, we’ll add water and other ingredients and tenderize the pork
before adding water, let’s add the important ingredient, the shrimp paste
this is ready made bottled shrimp paste
I prefer the flavored ready-made shrimp paste rather than the raw one. But you can also use that

mix then add water
water ok, then dried bay leaves
simmer and cover the pan. Wait until pork is tender
once pork is tender, add vinegar
spread vinegar
after adding vinegar, reboil the liquid
once reboils, mix
mix
then add long green chili
or banana pepper like what using right now
next is salt and ground black pepper
so again, check if saltiness is ok for you before adding salt
if you think it’s not enough, add more salt
here’s ground black pepper
and then stir
cook for few more minutes
after that, let’s serve
