Pizza Scones – Mind Over Munch Episode 26
Oh my God, I’m not in my workout clothes!
I’m celebrating the end of Season Two. Reasons
to make pizza scones. You love pizza, you
love scones. You only eat foods shaped like
triangles. You love to eat gluten free. Well,
pizza and scones aren’t gluten free but my
pizza scones are. Pizza makes you go AAAAAAA!
Scones make you go, “Yes, madam.” Let’s get
creative and get cooking.
For your pizza scones you will need almond
flour, an egg, egg whites, honey, baking soda,
baking powder, mozzarella cheese, garlic,
salt n pepper, and of course your pepperoni.
Combine all ingredients except for your pepperoni
in a large mixing bowl. Add your chopped pepperoni
and mix to combine. Transfer your ball of
dough to a floured surface molding it out
into a square shape. Approximately 7 to 8
inches wide and 3/4th of an inch thick. Carefully
use a knife to cut the square into quarters
and then into eights for the perfect scone
shape. Transfer your cut scones to a baking
sheet lined with parchment paper and sprayed
with cooking spray.
Bake in an oven pre-heated to 350 degrees
Fahrenheit for 11 to 15 minutes. Allow to
cool completely before devouring. Take these
to your next party. Welcome to the party.
Hey! What’s that?
