MOM HACKS – STOP STUFF GOING UNDER THE COUCH HACK

MOM HACKS – STOP STUFF GOING UNDER THE COUCH HACK

Hi guys, welcome back to my chat. Today I’m
going to be sharing with you a great mum hack
that I came up with that is going to stop
toys, food and debris going under your couch
and all you’re going to need to do this hack
is a pool noodle and a couch. So basically
I was getting really fed up, having to clear
out under our couch every one or two weeks.
My boys were throwing LEGO, cars, toys, food
was getting under there and it was driving
me insane. So I looked online at ways that
I could stop things from going under the couch
and there were no real products. If there
were products, they were overpriced and they
were not in this country. And then the other
day we went to the pound shop and I saw these
like mini pool noodles. They’re slightly smaller
than the other ones that you can get and they’re
obviously just a pound.
And I looked at them and I was like, “That
would be perfect.” Our couch is about one,
one and a half inches off the ground and it
wedges perfectly under our couch. But even
if your couch was higher, you could get a
bigger pool noodle or if it was lower, they’re
really simple to cut. So I’ve actually cut
some of the pool noodles to size to go around
the corners of our couch and they wedge under
the couch really well. My husband helped me
sort of get them under there. I was thinking
as well that you could get black pool noodles
or you could spray paint these ones black
so that you just couldn’t see them under the
couch and that it would just look dark under
the couch. I actually haven’t done that because
I’ve been a bit lazy.
Completely stopped crumbs and cars and everything
from getting under our couch. So it just gives
me a bit more sanity and it’s just such a
simple, cheap hack. Don’t forget to give this
video a big thumbs up. If you liked it and
you want to see more mum hacks. Please let
me know if you give it a try as well. I would
love to hear how you get on and don’t forget
to subscribe to my channel. I do lots of mummy
videos. And yeah, I’ll see you soon. Bye.
In today’s video, I’m going to show you how
I entertain my toddler. This is Caleb.
