I am approaching 1 month of being vegan (due to health reasons). I have always struggled with food and weight. I was at my heaviest of 98kg in 2010 and now I am 70kgs. As much as I am proud of my accomplishment, throughout my weight loss journey I developed very bad anxiety around food. Saying "I can't eat this or that because it'll make me fat". I'm now 26yrs old and I still have this mentality even though I live a very active lifestyle and eat very well most days of the week.. I'm still struggling with my relationship with food and I want it to just stop. Your vlog has truly spoken to my soul 💕. Try not to eat refined sugar, pizza, burgers other unhealthy foods. But then I felt really lost and when I eat refined sugar I felt so bad and unsuccessful. Sometimes I crave junk foods cookies, ice cream, chocolate but I was thinking I should never ever touch them again. But for years it wasn't healthy for me. I will change my relationship with food. I love eating healthy and I eat healthy %95 of the time so I will not give myself hard time when I crave something or when I go out with my friends. Because I learned from experience it is not sustainable that attempt trying to eat %100 healthy all the time. Up until a few years ago due..to all the conflicting information and strong "do nots" and "don't buy this get that" rules, I became frustrated and turned off from eating healthy because some times all the rules in the health community can make you feel like why even try? This wont be perfect or that won't be perfect.. It wasn't until I came to an understanding that I have to do what's best for me! I realized it's better to start somewhere than to not start at all..so I've done away with everybody's rules and just do what's best for me. New subscriber, thanks! Reply T'Kayah Mitchell says: August 14, 2019 at 3:43 am All I can say is thank you for this perspective, it totally changed my mind and made it more at ease about eating healthy. Reply Star_ Lover says: August 14, 2019 at 7:23 pm I was incredibly unhealthy when I was younger, eating a lot of junk food and pastry’s, and I manage to stay at a decent weight for some time, but then I started to gain weight, that’s when I started to realize that I should start eating healthier, so I looked into YouTube and media for help and I luckily found a lot of helpful websites! At first it was a lot of fun just making healthy smoothies and testing out healthy ingredients! But then it started to get stressful when I didn’t get the results that I wanted, I started to limit my food amount and reject going out with family or friends for the sake of the fear of gaining weight, even once I reached my goal, I felt like I could ruin it at any moment by eating things that weren’t acceptable…I was unmotivated and I hated it, but seeing this video really helped, it showed it’s ok to treat yourself to something once in a while and maintain a healthy diet! That eating healthy is about feeling good about yourself, and if your not feeling good in the process then there’s something wrong, find chances to treat yourself and go out with your family and in overall just enjoy your life while eating nourishing healthy foods that will make you stronger and energize yourself! Maybe you should listen to your own spiel honey. Reply Polina Stegnienko says: September 12, 2019 at 5:40 am Thank you. For me it is one of two extremes. I ether eat healthy healthy healthy, and then I start to eat really bad food. And then I feel guilty for eating it. And then I start to starve myself. I am able to not eat for three days. I would literally jut drink coffee with milk and maybe get some berries in myself like blueberries. And I am not proud of it. Like it’s a struggle to know where the line is. Definitely punishing yourself is not healthy, so I stopped it a year ago. I started to eat healthy healthy and delicious, but gained weight and i didn’t like it. I do intermittent fasting now. It is good because it gives me the feeling of having my belly extrimelly full like a piggie and I love it, at least once a day (usually at the end) but then most of the day I feel very slip and pretty. A problem that I slowly start to feel is I actually genially enjoy breakfasts, but I like to eat so when I eat, I eat. Haha. But if I will eat a lot like a cute piggie every time I will gain weight and I don’t want it either. I don’t know where the balance is. I’m thinking of doing periods of different food consumption pattens. Like three months doing small meals six times a day, three months doing intermittent fasting, etc. What is your opinion on doing periods like that with your food consumption pattens Sadia? I’m curious to know! Also, I am not too familiar with what my body needs in terms of micro and macro. My hair fall out due to stress in other areas of my life as well. I was wondering what are the important things to consume for your hair. And like the rest of the body too obviously. And I know it’s very unorganized, but those are the things that bother me right now in my life in my health and I’m too busy with school to look for other ways or look deeply into nutritional aspect. Also, I find your channel very helpful and creative. Thank you so much in advance for doing all the work that you do. 🙂♥️ Reply اسماء DAY6 says: September 12, 2019 at 12:07 pm اف احبها واحب فيديوهاتها واسعدتني الترجمة كثير شكرُا .
