Hi Bold Bakers! I’m excited to tell you that I have five
new mug meals for you. But this time, we are doing mug meals from
all around the world like curry in a mug and mug churro. So let’s get microwaving. The first stop on our culinary adventure is
the Mediterranean where we’re going to be making Shakshuka for breakfast. Now as always, we’re going to start out
in a microwavable mug. Add in tomato sauce, cumin, garlic powder,
onion powder, oregano, and some chili flakes. And then mix it all together. You should be familiar with Shakshuka because
it has lots of variations in different countries. So into our tomato mix, we’re going to crack
in an egg on top. Just like so. Ok so this is looking good, now we’re going
to pop this guy into the microwave. The cook time that I give for my mug meals
is based on my microwave, which is 1200 watts. So check the wattage of your microwave because
your timing may vary. Our breakfast is done and it looks absolutely
delicious. Now you can tell when it’s perfectly cooked
when your egg is nice and firm on top. Now we are going to garnish this guy very
simply with some feta and some chopped coriander. I think this is really pretty because all
the colors are so vibrant. I love this dish because the cumin gives it
a lovely savory, spicy flavor. Now this recipe and all the other recipes
for my mug meals can be found on my website, biggerbolderbaking.com. So for lunch, we are stopping by Italy where
we are going to make a calzone in a mug. And if you liked my mug pizza, you are going
to love this calzone. We are going to start out in a microwavable
mug. Add in flour, baking powder, baking soda,
and salt. And then mix it all together. Into our dry mix, we are going to add in some
milk and some olive oil. And then just mix together until it forms
a batter. So as you know, a calzone is like a pizza
but it’s stuffed in the middle. So what we’re going to do is in the center,
add in some tomato sauce, some mozzarella cheese, some herbs and then some pepperoni. So once your ingredients are in there, we
are going to spoon the batter on top and seal in our filling. Ok so this is looking delicious, so now we’re
going to pop him in the microwave. Now I know this isn’t a traditional calzone
but if you like dough, cheese, and tomato sauce, this is a win-win. That sound means my calzone is done. This smells amazing. Now you will know when your calzone is perfectly
cooked when it’s firm on top and you can’t see any more wetness. I’m going to top my calzone with some extra
tomato sauce and then I’m going to finish it off with some parsley. Just check out all that gooey, stringy cheese. Yup, if you like things that are awesome,
you are going to love this. So when I used to visit America as a kid,
we used to buy rice krispie treats because we couldn’t get them in Ireland. But today I’m going to show you how you
can make a single-serving rice krispie treat in a mug. Add in rice krispies, mini marshmallows, and
some butter. So that’s all you have to do for this guy
before you pop him in the microwave. I have over a hundred mug meal recipes and
I have an e-book full of mug meals so be sure you go check that out. Ok so our microwave just pinged so lets go
check on our rice krispie treat. Perfect, our marshmallows are lovely and fluffy. So when it’s straight out of the microwave,
you want to mix all of the ingredients with a fork. Now a rice krispie treat doesn’t need a
whole lot, so we’re just going to add some mini marshmallows and some sprinkles on top. If you’re looking for an afterschool snack
that is really fast and easy to make, this guy is for you. So I just love curries. So for dinner, we’re going to stop by Thailand
for a green curry in a mug. So into our mug, we’re going to add some
green curry paste, some coconut milk, some frozen vegetables, and then some lime juice. And then just mix all of these together. Once it’s all mixed up, we’re going to
add in our noodles on top and just give them a squish down there so they all fit in. So there you go, really easy to make and we’re
going to pop him into the microwave. This recipe is great because it’s a whole
meal in a mug. And best of all, it takes less than two minutes
to cook. You will not believe how great this curry
smells and it looks delicious. I’m simply going to decorate this with some
sliced chili and cilantro on top. If you’re looking for dinner ideas that
are single serving, this is perfect. For dessert, we’re going to do a Spanish
sweet treat that you will usually see fried. We’re making a churro in a mug. So into our microwavable mug, we are going
to add in some flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and a little bit of cinnamon. And we’re going to mix these ingredients
together. Into our dry ingredients, we’re going to
add in some milk and some flavorless oil. And then you just want to mix this together
until it forms a batter. Now you’ll notice that there’s no egg
in this recipe. So traditionally, a churro is served with
thick hot chocolate on the side. But what we’re going to do is take a big
piece of chocolate and we’re going to put it right down the middle. So when we microwave it, there’s going to
be gooey, warm chocolate in the center. So there you go, a single serving treat just
for you in no time at all. So now we’re going to microwave him. This little mug cake takes hardly any time
to cook so luckily, you won’t have to wait too long. So out of the microwave, you can tell that
your churro is done when it doesn’t look wet on top and it’s nice and firm. Now just like a traditional churro, I’m
going to sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on top and I’m also going to add a little bit of
chocolate frosting. I bet this tastes as good as it looks. Delicious. Who would not love soft, lovely cake with
liquid chocolate in the middle? There is so much variety in these recipes,
and no matter where you are in the world, there is a mug meal for you. Thank you so much for watching and don’t
forget to subscribe to my channel. I will see you back here every Monday and
Thursday for more Bigger Bolder Baking.
