what up guys and welcome back to the fitment cook kitchen for today’s quick meal prep and dinner recipe we’ve got a summer cookout line for you today we’re gonna be making some epic bang bang shrimp burgers let me tell you these burgers are just amazing and what I love about the shrimp burgers is that they are really lean super high in protein very low calorie but also really really hearty add to that just a little bit of personality with some veggies and some little spice tossed in and these are baleful seriously this is a really refreshing burger going to a summer barbecue or any type of cookout one thing that you really want is good food but you don’t want to blow and that’s why I love this shrimp burgers because you have a hearty burger but it’s not gonna make you all bloated and heavy and stuff like that and they’re so delicious with this bangbang sauce that we’re gonna make that you don’t have to add in other stuff like cheese and tons of other condiments it’s just fine as is just add in your favorite vegetable like some slaw or some salad and you are good to go all right so it’s the really simple recipe I know that you’re gonna love it and remember when you’re going out to go and buy the shrimp the best place and the cheapest place to buy some shrimp is the prawn shop did you get it you didn’t get it the best place oh my gosh I got it Kevin you know I’m a ninja with these jokes y’all who I’m surgical with them haha that was pretty good come on give me my problem this is that this is an epic time I didn’t laugh I had a great build-up I almost lost it I can feel the moment being over here this was this was good as plate the cheapest place to buy some shrimp it’s the brawn job maybe if I didn’t catch it either anyway all right guys let’s get onto the video first let’s make our bangbang sauce we’re gonna start out with a little bit of low calorie mayo and we’re gonna supplement it with a little bit of Greek yogurt and this helps to cut the fat but boost the protein then a little bit of honey and of sweetness that’s in the bangbang sauce some fresh garlic and then some good ol si Racha alternatively if you don’t want to use the si Racha you can also use some red chili garlic sauce and proceed with the taste and then add it to your favorite condiment jar okay now it’s time to make this shrimp burger batter you’re gonna take your raw peeled and deveined shrimp add it to a food processor and then pop the top now shrimp is very lean so when you limit up it’s gonna really really sticky so just my whole splint you don’t want to pulverize and just like that and that’s what you want take the shrimp batter and add it to a bowl and then just to add some personality and give it the appearance of shrimp I’ve got some whole pieces here shrimp this is also peeled and deveined and I’m just gonna do a rough chop of it and then we’re gonna add this into the batter and these chunky pieces right here will kind of stick out a little bit and remind people that they are eating shrimp and not just some big blob of seafood like they don’t know what in a row they’re eating all right now let’s add some personality got some diced bell pepper here some diced jalapeno I took out some of the seeds so that way there’s not too much heat some diced green onion and then some panko because this is bang bang shrimp a little bit of crunch inside of it this is an optional ingredient these are red chili flakes add a little bit of spice in the pop of color mix everything together just like you would a normal burger batter and you see how easily everything sticks together you don’t need to do too much here you don’t need to add in any eggs we’re going to add in any flex at all it’s gonna stick together fine and once everything is mixed together he’s gonna divide it up and then make some patties so again mint seafood especially minced shrimp is very lean so it’s very sticky gonna take a little bit of oil put your hands and the cool thing about shrimp burgers is that you can kind of indulge a little bit and make it real fat and juicy just because I mean the shrimp is so lean this is like all facing in your hands right now make it into a nice patty and then fire up the grill or fire up your skillet fire up a nonstick skillet spray it with a little bit of oil and add after your skillet now remember shrimp is gonna cook really really fast but because everything is packed together really densely you want to make sure that it’s cooked all the way through so I like to flip my shrimp burgers a few times so that way they won’t burn on one side but I’ll keep on coming back and forth so that way I’ll make sure that it’s cooked all the way through and another option is for you just to sear both sides of it like this and then add this entire skillet to your oven to finish cooking at around 400 for about five or six minutes one final trick is to grab the burger some tongs and just rotate it along its side it’ll add some texture but also you’re just ensuring that all of the burger is cooked and here they are just that easy some bang bang shrimp burgers okay let’s bring it all together we’re gonna add some toasted challah bread here first gonna add some of our bang bang sauce add our shrimp burger yeah oh my gosh it looks amazing top it off with a little bit of Asian coleslaw I’ve got a little bit of orange juice sesame and soy sauce going on here with this have a slaw to top off our beautiful burger and if you’re doing this for meal prep just add your patty you’re looking container and then of course don’t forget the bang bang sauce and there you have it epic shrimp bang bang burgers I cannot wait to bite into this and gonna be amazing all right so we’re gonna have the operations manager come in here come on taste it and we call him Wilson because he hates to be photographed there isn’t that one photo of him have him on the Internet sound works so tell people just how good it is and I’m gonna break it open – it’s pretty good you like that would you eat this at a barbecue can this come to the family barbecue because you know cuz you know black people we are really particular you know there’s southern barbecue so there’s a black barbecue you gotta have it have your a Plus+ game can I bring you some barbecue okay I appreciate that thank you so much hey the cred is right here and let me just break one open for y’all just to show you how amazing and delicious they look and are oh look at all of that goodness gonna taste Jesse it’s good it’s good it’s real good touchdown Oh bang bang bang bang and this part is not required but if you want that smoky flavor but you don’t have a grill like me I have a smoking gun we can create our own smoke so I’ve got my wood chips in here and see the smoke coming out all right that’s what we want so we’re going to cover the burger with the dome fill it with some smoke and just let it sit for a few minutes and off when you take it out you’ll have all of the smoky flavors that you know and love from a barbecue absolutely cool all right it’s so cool oh and here is a moment I’ve been waiting for boom the sauce is perfect holy smokes
