March 2018 KetoKrate Unboxing and GIVEAWAY | Low carb snackage!

July 18, 2019 100 By William Morgan

it’s March, and it’s KetoKrate time!
We’re gonna unbox this thing, right after
this. Hey, guys! Welcome to A.D. Keto. My name is Aaron. This is the channel where I
talk about the ketogenic diet. I do some
keto food vlogs, I give away some keto
crates, and I review some keto products. If this is your first time here, please
consider subscribing, and if you do, be
sure to click the bell icon, so you get a
notification whenever I upload new
content. And I’d like to extend a special
welcome to anyone who’s coming here via
Highfalutin Low Carb. My friend Wesley
just passed 30 thousand subscribers on
his YouTube channel,
Highfalutin Low Carb. He did a really
cool question and answer video the other
day, and I submitted a question, he
answered it, he gave me a big shoutout,
which I really, really appreciate. Wes, you
are, truly, one of the best YouTubers this
crazy Internet has to offer. So special
welcome to anyone who’s new and came
here via Wesley. It’s KetoKrate time, guys. The
March 2018 box is here. I had a little
bit of a panic yesterday. As you may or
may not know, every month KetoKrate
sends me a couple of krates – my own, which
I open and unbox, and then eat — not the
box, but its contents — and then they send
me a second box that I give away to one
of you guys. However, this month, I arrived
home, it was a super snowy day, I got home — had kind of a crap day, I came home and I
saw this on my front porch. Just one box.
So I kind of panicked. I emailed KetoKrate,
and they were like, “Oh we’re sorry — we’re
sending you another one. Here’s a
tracking number.” So I don’t have it in my
hands, but I’m gonna unbox this, and then
by the time I do the drawing, I will have
the second box that I can send out to
the winner. So be sure to stick around to
the end of the video, because after we
unbox it, I’m going to tell you how to
enter to win the KetoKrate that I’m
about to unbox. So without further ado,
let’s get into it.
It’s the March 2018 KetoKrate. It’s a
little lighter than last month. Last
month was pretty dope,
as the kids say. There were, I think, 12
items in it . Normally, you get 7 or 8, but
here we go.
First item. Ayobayo! Ayobayo is beef
jerky that has come in KetoKrate before.
Gotta love their little slogan down
there: “Eat our meat” (trademarked). Beef
raised with vegetarian diet and no added
hormones or antibiotics. Not a low
calorie food. OK, this is really good
stuff. I’ll read you the nutrition
information, here. One serving per
container, that’s the whole package. 180
calories, 5 grams of fat, less than one
carb, 31 grams of protein. That’s nice.
Ingredients: beef, vinegar, sea salt, water,
coriander, pepper, cloves — in a sheep
casing. Aww! This is good stuff.
Ayobayo makes awesome beef jerky. Next —
Crazy Go Nuts, garlic parmesan.
All-natural, gourmet walnuts. No corn
syrup, no artificial flavors or colors, no
artificial preservatives. “Don’t tell them
we said this, but walnuts are kind of a
pain in the butt. On extremely rare
occasions, a shell or membrane might make its way into your walnuts.” Well, what are
you gonna do? I am a big fan of walnuts,
I’m a big fan of garlic parmesan. This
promises to be right up my alley.
I’ll read you the nutrition information
on this. 14.5 servings per container, 180
calories, 18 grams of fat, 5 grams of
carbs, two dietary fiber. So three grams
of net carbs per serving, and four grams
of protein. Check out that guy — the
mustachioed gentleman, right there. He’s
on the front, too. Very cool. Walnuts — good stuff. Gonna dig into these in a little
while. Next: of course it wouldn’t be KetoKrate
without
a beef stick. this is Volpi salame stix,
chorizo flavor. A salami stick? Salami in
stick form? Yeah, baby.
This does not have nutrition information
on the package. It says to go to VolpeFoods.com for the nutrition information,
so I will do that now. Flashing it up on
the screen. So that’s Volpe American
crafted Salame stix. Next, we’ve got
Cashew Crunch flax crackers, from Raw
Food Central. Never fried, never baked.
These crackers are nuts. Spreading health one snack at a time. I
like flax crackers very much. Ingredients:
cashews, flax, sea salt, apple cider
vinegar. That’s it. Nutrition information: Serving
size is 1 ounce. 3 servings per container.
170 calories, 9 total carbs, 5 dietary
fiber, so 4 net carbs. 4 grams of net
carbs per serving, and 5 grams of protein.
“Warning: don’t be a meathead. A small
biodegradable packet that removes
humidity and keeps the product fresh is
in the bag. Don’t eat it.” I feel like I
shouldn’t be handling this too much,
because I can feel it kind of crumbling
away. So I’ll put those down gently. Next, we’ve got Gaea Olive Snack. Pitted green olives.
Second month in a row we’ve gotten an
olive snack. Not my favorite! But this is
Gaea Olive snack: pitted green olives,
marinated with lemon and oregano, two
servings per container, total fat 1.5
grams, total carbs less than one gram.
Protein zero grams. For centuries, almond
shaped Halkidiki variety olives are
famous for their crisp fresh and great
flavor.
we took the pits out, marinated the
olives for several days with extra
virgin olive oil, oregano, garlic,
coriander, and lemon…peel. To offer you
the perfect snack for any time of the
day. Liquid-free preservative free and
full of authentic Greek flavors. So there
you go. That’s Olive Snack
pitted green olives, marinated with lemon
and oregano, by Gaea! I like the packaging,
I’ll give him that.
You know, not a big olive guy, but that
I can get behind — this design. Dig those
colors. Next we got No Cow. No Cow protein
cookie. I’ve not heard of NovCow. Here’s
the nutrition information on No Cow:
We’ve got 17 grams of fat, 17 total carbs,
six dietary fiber, seven sugar alcohol. So
four net carbs per serving, and 13 grams
of protein. 250 calories. I’m excited to try
this.
My favorite: Coco Polo. I have a store
near me that always has Lilly’s
chocolate bars, but never a Coco Polo. So
this is a very welcome sight, guys. If
you’re not familiar with Coco Polo, get
on board. They are awesome.
This is elderberry flavored. Here’s the
nutrition information on this. Coco Polo
bar: Two servings in the bar, 150 calories,
13 grams of fat, 18 total carbs, but 6
grams of fiber, seven grams of erythritol,
taking it down to 5 grams of net carbs.
And then there’s something that says
sugars, with two asterisks. And below the
asterisks say: ‘only source of sugar is
milk. Inulin is a prebiotic form of
chicory, RebA (a stevia extract), is
non-gmo, Fairtrade and sustainably
sourced cocoa. Milk is from cows not
treated with artificial rBST hormones.
All right, well that’s good,
I guess. This won’t last very long. Coco
Polo. I do love me some Coco Polo.
Next we’ve got — this is the last item — a paleo
energy byte mix. Wow. No-bake, minutes to make. Look at those. What are these all
about? Oh boy, I’m just reading here. enjo… The first four words in the description
are “Enjoy the freshest balls (,)
bars, and bites. Store-sealed and
chilled in an airtight container like
this bag. Most recipes last two weeks
refrigerated, Take on the go to school,
the office, gym, or trails. This is pretty
nuts. Excited to make these Tre’s the
instructions right there. Just three
little steps. Pour the entire bag of mix
into a medium bowl with your choice of
ingredients, based on the chart above.
They have a sweetness chart: sweet,
original, or sweet less. Looks like you’re
just adding different amounts of nut
butter or ghee or coconut oil, and then
you mix with a fork, mix and mash until
moist, “Come on, muscles” and then you roll it into bite-sized… spheres. Nutrition
information: there are twelve servings
per container, which is about two bites.
Two balls. There’s two columns here. one I a dry mix and one is prepared, so I’m
gonna read you the as prepared original
recipe, because I doubt I will be eating
this straight out of the package so
calories 120, total fat six grams, carbs 5
grams, but three of those are dietary
fiber, so 2 grams of net carbs so that’s
one carb per ball, and then 7 grams of
protein. Ingredients: organic shredded
coconut, organic Brazil nut powder,
organic cocoa powder, organic flaxseed
meal, organic vanilla flavor, sea salt,
and monk fruit. Those are some killer
ingredients. I’m looking very much
forward to trying this. Maybe I’ll make a
video about making these. We’ll see. And
if I recall, I got an email earlier in
the week, saying that there was a rush to
try to get one other item in, and now
it’s slipping my mind. I’ll put it up
here, but they did send an email earlier
this week, saying, ‘We really tried to get
this product in the box’, But their
production hit a snag or somethin,g so
they didn’t make it. But hopefully next
month. So that’s it for the ketokrate.
Now if you’ve held on this long, if
you’ve hung around with me while I
unboxed, now is the time where I tell you
how to get this thing. It’s really, really simple. Just leave a
comment in the video. I will assemble all
those names into a spreadsheet and use a
random number generator to pick one, and that will be the winner of this box. Now,
today is Saturday the 10th of March.
lLet’s say that next Sunday,
the 18th of March, I’ll do the drawing
and pick a winner. So there you have it.
Leave a comment below, and you’re in.
That’s gonna wrap it up guys. Hope you
enjoyed this video. Hope you have a
really swell day, and I will see you next
time.
