Low Carb Marinara Sauce / Pizza Sauce with Garlic Parmesan Flatbread – Keto

Welcome all! Papa G here. Today I present
my low carbohydrate marinara sauce. A few of you
who watch my low carbohydrate pizza crust video
ask for the recipe for the sauce i used.
So here it is. Perfect for a low carbohydrate
pizza or anything with an Italian flair.
Also, to go along with our marinara, we’ll
make some garlic parmesan flatbread. Lets get started…
We’ll begin by pouring
a 15-ounce can of crushed red tomatoes
into a sauce pot on medium heat and add
our spices. Some salt; garlic powder;
Italian seasoning; dried oregano; a little
black pepper; and will sweeten with some
EZ Sweetz. And, if tomato sauce has a
tendency to give you heartburn, here’s a
little trick. Add a pinch of baking soda.
It’ll help reduce the acidity. Mix well
and let it come to just bubbling, Then
reduce and simmer for about 30 minutes.
While our sauce simmers we’ll work on
our flatbread. We’ll start with some
almond flour; some ground flaxseed;
Italian seasoning; and a little salt.
Mixed with a whisk until combined. In
another bowl add two eggs; extra virgin
olive oil; about five drops of EZ Sweetz; and we’ll finish with some water.
Mix until combined. This recipe is very
similar to our low carbohydrate bread recipe, but we
reduced the quantity of the ingredients
and left out our leavening agents – the
baking soda and the vinegar. Add the egg
mixture to our flour mix.
Mix thoroughly with a spatula. Line a 9 by
13 inch baking pan with some parchment
paper and pour our bread mix into the
pan. Use a spatula and spread our mix as
thin and as evenly as possible without
making any holes. It’s almost like
spreading icing on a cake. Bake at 350
degrees for about
twenty-five minutes and remove. Allow our bread
to cool for about five minutes and then
place it on a cutting board and slice
the way you want. Here I made about 18
pieces. Next, mix about half a teaspoon of
garlic powder to two tablespoons of
unsalted melted butter. Generously brush
our garlic butter to the top of our flat
bread. Now sprinkle on just a bit of some
coarse sea salt. Add some freshly cracked
black pepper and some dried parsley
flakes. Place the bread back into our
baking pan and top our bread with some
freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Place it back into the oven for about seven
minutes to allow our garlic butter and
cheese to bake in. Now we’re ready to
plate and serve with our marinara sauce.
Delicious! There you have it folks! my

parmesan flat bread. A great low carbohydrate
combination. I hope you liked this video.
