Low Carb Lemon Mousse Recipe | Easy Keto Desserts

Today I’m going to show you how to make
this low carb lemon mousse, look at that!
It’s Low Carb, Keto friendly it’s
just amazing so let’s get straight into
the recipe, and these are the ingredients
that you need to make your low-carb
lemon mousse we have a lemon of course
I’ve got two tablespoons of stevia over
there use whatever sweetener agrees with
your sweetener of choice I have a half a
cup of mascarpone and look at that
lovely creamy mascarpone and I have a
whole cup of cream that’s it
four ingredients and you’re going to
have the most luscious lovely dessert
that’s keto low carb friendly and
just so you know the recipe will be down

phone or your device, right I have a bowl
that I’m going to mix everything
together in and this is also going to be
our presentation, bowl so you could use, I
just like to make it easy for washing up
so we’re going to pop our mascarpone
into the bowl mmm
so yeah you can use a mixing bowl or if
you want you can use the bowl that you
can serve it in to save yourself some
washing up, I am all for making my life
easier and then add your sweetener in
and give that a good stir to try and
start dissolving, in our yeah you could
definitely add more sweetener, so I found
it sweet enough, obviously with the lemon
it might be so, I’ve got pen on my finger
fun, and you can add as much sweetener as you
want, but I found 2 tablespoons is enough
and just make sure that you can kind of
dissolve it into the mascarpone and then
we’re going to deal with our lemon so
we’re going to use the zest of the lemon
and the juice of the whole lemon but
again if you don’t want it quite as
tart use half the lemon or you can use
more lemon and if you want it even more
lemony so pop that there, I’m just
going to grab my zester my little
microplane grater and we just grate our
lemon and you grab as much of this as
you can but you don’t want to get any of
the white pith just get as much this top
look at
falling in there yeah so we’re just
gonna grab our lemon zest pop it into
the bowl and then we’re going to cut our
lemon in half and squeeze all that juice
in we’ve got all that lovely zest in
there so good and lemony and we’re just
going to grab the juice and I like to
use a little sieve a little strainer to
catch all of the pips that come out so
again as much sweeteners you want you’re
putting lemon in so it is going to be
pretty sour and as you add some
sweetener cut all those pips so it’s
good to have one of these little teeny
strainers okay
look at that lemon juice now I’m just
going to carefully mix it all together
you could have a taste if you want now
but we haven’t mixed the cream in yet and
it’s going to get creamier, yeah but just
to make sure that it is not too sour
yeah so you want it to be smooth you
could definitely whisk it or beat this
if you want but I just like very nicely
and slowly enjoying with the spoon, yeah
that’s definitely that nice and smooth
and it’s all mixed through so you’re
going to pop this aside and see to our
cream all right I’ve got a big bowl to
beat up my cream and we just pour it all
in there and now we are gonna need an
electric beater for this you definitely
could use a whisk if you want to use
your muscle power but I am going to use
an electric whisk and whisk it up
until I’ve got some lovely peaks.
There you go that’s perfect, you don’t want to
over whisk can end up with butter so
we’re going to pop the whisk aside, that
is just beautiful and ready to be folded
in to our lemon mixture it’s really a
matter of adding all the cream, I love
this part it’s so gratifying to watch,
yeah pop all the cream on and we’re just
going to gently fold the cream, I get so
much joy out of this kitchen task, okay
now I just gently fold it in and
remember I decided to use my
presentation bowl so it kind of just
fits everything if you would prefer to
be on the safe side and use a nice
big bowl to gently fold and that’s what
you can do but I’m happy mixing all
this together, this is so good I’ve
been recipe testing this through the
week and I made a couple of batches and
each one doesn’t last a day between my
husband in the fridge, it’s just
awesome!

once it is thickened up and just amazing
there you go it’s been in the fridge for
a few hours and I’ll show you how it’s
thickened up, look at that, it is so yum
this has quickly become my favourite
dessert I’m going to be making it over
and over and over again it’s so good
it’s so light and lemony
luscious and it is just such an amazing
dessert amazing sweet treat, that’s low carb
