Hi! did you miss me? because I miss you
The couple of weeks I’ve been
trying to live a healthier life, and that
has meant for me to let go of a lot of
things that I ate before. So today we’re
doing a dessert, because I love desserts,
that has no sugar, no gluten and it’s
delicious and healthy. Let’s get to it!
Welcome or welcome back, if you’re new to
this channel don’t forget to subscribe,
I post videos every week or I try, sometimes I
forget but I try. Who doesn’t love chocolate?
Come on chocolate ummm…
so chocolate, dates, eggs and ….
a little bit of coconut oil are going to
become the delicious dessert that you
deserve with half of the calories,
there you go! This recipe has four
ingredients and they’re listed below in
the description so we’re starting with
eight dates and the first thing that
we’re going to do is dislodge the seeds
as soon as this is done we’re going to
melt the coconut oil and for that I use
a big bowl and then a smaller one to put
into the hot water and with the back of
a spoon I remove it. It’s not a lot of
oil so it’s very fast, couple of
seconds. So now all goes to your blender.
You’re going to add one egg and after we’re going to use the cocoa powder
and the one that we’re using is the
unsweetened version the more natural the
better and then we add the eight dates
and as soon as they are in the blender
the final ingredient is our coconut oil.
done and dusted, now you close it and
you blend it or pulse it or whatever you
have to do until we get to a peanut
butter consistency, not too runny,
not to set
the baking tray needs to be greased and for
that we’re using again coconut oil
just a little bit to make sure that it
doesn’t stick to the sides and as soon as
it’s done we’re going to put our batter
in there. Advice: it doesn’t move around
it’s a bit thick so you need to use
your spatula to get it to all the bits
and crannies. Then to the oven 180C360F
for 15 minutes and
you’re done!
That pipe or cake as you want
to call it, has 540 calories and I tend
to divideded in 12 pieces of 45 calories each
Those are the ones that
I use at the end of my meals to give me
that sense of chocolate, they are very dense and very tasty,
so I feel like I’m having dessert even though it’s a small piece
sometimes I use a little
bit of stevia just to decorate but
it’s completely optional. I hope you try
it and if you do don’t forget to share
with me all my social networks and you
know how this goes if you like it, like it
leave me a comment if you want me to try
something different in the show and
share with your friends, subscribe if you
haven’t already and if not I’ll see you
next week bye bye
