Reply JackieWarner13 says: August 13, 2019 at 6:54 am Mrs B's reaction after you said you would put the tomato's in microwave for 2 mins 😂😂"2 minutes?" Reply Murry Jackson says: August 13, 2019 at 7:03 am Mrs Barry looks like a younger Sonya Walger. Reply jolfi11 says: August 13, 2019 at 7:06 am Why after all these videos do you still not put the icetray under running tapwater for a couple of seconds. All your icecubes will fall right out of the tray!!!!! Reply JackieWarner13 says: August 13, 2019 at 7:06 am 😂😂 blowing the candle out. Reply beccasmama63 says: August 13, 2019 at 7:13 am You two are so cute together. 😀 <3 if you use a sieve that has little bit bigger holes the egg might go thru more. Not sure if it's vinegar or baking soda or what but there was a video I saw once where if the egg is cracked, if you add this item to the water, the egg doesn't blow out like that. I would rather just use a knife on the avocado instead of having to scrub the rack afterward to get all the goop out. LOL Reply Dissa1 says: August 13, 2019 at 7:20 am What a little butt! Blowing out the candle ! 😂😂😂I love kids 💜 Reply Dawn Shipley says: August 13, 2019 at 7:24 am I have seen the pineapple hack before and it really doesn't work. Reply Summer Noybn says: August 13, 2019 at 7:41 am im definitely one that left the comment about her looking like terminator mom lol (far from the first or only im sure) Reply Salima Sweet says: August 13, 2019 at 7:59 am The pineapple needs to be done when the fruit is much more yellow. You will see the segments spread apart. Reply Jessica Neal says: August 13, 2019 at 8:14 am I wonder if you dry out your orange in the oven before filling it with oil, if that would help it to light faster. Also, putting orange zest (peel with a peeler) in the oil for a day or 2 might get it to smell more like orange 🙂 Reply Susanne G says: August 13, 2019 at 8:19 am Best way to Crack a boiled egg is to hit it all over with a spoon and the shell will peel off so fast. Reply Ashe Bell says: August 13, 2019 at 8:33 am Mrs b. Taking the skin off is how some people with IBD like myself can eat foods with skins without being put in agony 🙂 xxx Reply Jill Bo says: August 13, 2019 at 8:52 am The oil and fire in the cupboard made me SO nervous xD Reply Alexander Borsi says: August 13, 2019 at 9:05 am I'm sure someone else will say it, but to make the "golden egg" you need a sock, or a long sleeved shirt, and some string. Tie the egg in the middle of the sock/sleeve with the string. Then, twist the two sides in opposite directions, and pull the sock/sleeve outwards like you are pulling open elevator doors or doing a reverse butterfly crunch. Not too hard! You warnt rapid spins, but not to pull so hard it cracks the egg. Put back in the fridge overnight, so that the air redistributes to a bubble and then they won't split/crack as much. Then I just do standard boiled egg… Cold water, bring to boil, shut off heat and move off hob, wait 3-4 minutes, put into super cold water, peel and enjoy. Also, the candle being blown out by your daughter made me spit out my drink. Reply josh baxter says: August 13, 2019 at 9:06 am Boil the tomato for 30 seconds with the cross in the bottom and cutting out the stalk then put it in ice water and you peal it for ratatouille and if you want to make a salsa Reply Aaron Routh says: August 13, 2019 at 9:10 am I use a spoon to peel eggs all the time. It works so well for me. But my wife can't figure it out. I never really thought about it as a hack…. Neat. Reply Smurf Jegeren says: August 13, 2019 at 9:12 am To get the tomatoes right, make the cross cut and pour boiling water over it(cross side up), then peel. Reply Pete ASMR says: August 13, 2019 at 9:32 am A British Sarah Connor, I kept wondering why your lovely wife looked familiar. Holy mother of terminations that is so brilliant. Your wife is just a thrill to watch too. Reply G Mel says: August 13, 2019 at 9:52 am Can't deal with the puns anymore Reply Jimbubba FPV says: August 13, 2019 at 9:53 am I get it . . . He doesn't have a motorbike, he does avocado. Brilliant! Reply Youenn Fenard says: August 13, 2019 at 10:06 am 0:44 : actually, the prononciation of the french word "oeuf" is much closer of the english prononciation of "ough" from "enough" than your attempt. My mom has diversticulitis and she isn't allowed to have any fruit or veggie peeling or pulp or seeds or nuts of any kind becuase it can cause major damage to her colon Reply Joy Elizabeth says: August 13, 2019 at 12:48 pm Yay I love kitchen hack videos w Mrs Barry!! 🎉🎉👍👍 Reply Vash TS says: August 13, 2019 at 1:55 pm Barry, please try the egg+sock version of the golden egg hack. I hate tomato skin Reply Mariam M.M. says: August 13, 2019 at 6:16 pm You use the peeled tomatoes to make tomato jam … delicious !!! Reply benzracer says: August 13, 2019 at 6:30 pm Peeled, seeded, and diced tomatoes are preferable for certain things. It's called a tomato concasse Reply benzracer says: August 13, 2019 at 6:32 pm Also for the peaches you just need kettle water, let it sit in the hot water for about five minutes or so, then you're not boiling it so it's not cooking, but the peach skin will come of pretty well. If it's a little tough, start the peel with a paring knife Reply Laura Harris says: August 13, 2019 at 6:52 pm Those pineapples are neither ripe or ready! Reply Wendy Abbott says: August 13, 2019 at 7:23 pm Please do the pringle ring stack challenge I'm having trouble doing it x Reply Autumn M says: August 13, 2019 at 7:37 pm That peach tip works when the peaches are good and ripe. Reply Jura Juju says: August 13, 2019 at 7:58 pm Kenyan pineapple is AMAZINGGGGGGGGGG. Best I've ever tasted when I was there back in 2010 @where do they grow =] Reply Channelle Oliver says: August 13, 2019 at 8:12 pm Had to watch that one again 100x over when she tried wrapping the iron in foil😂 its the best!! Reply Pierre Rossouw says: August 13, 2019 at 11:13 pm It's past one in the morning; insomnia has, once again, come to visit. And then, the avocado gag! Cannot wait to try that one on the family later . . . . Reply Malaya Buena says: August 13, 2019 at 11:40 pm ‘He doesn’t have a motorbike but he does ‘avocado ’’ that took me a while. Reply cat gath says: August 13, 2019 at 11:56 pm You live with a child masquerading as an adult. Which one is the child? Does it matter? You chose each other. Reply μάντις says: August 14, 2019 at 12:05 am Not really a candle, but more of an oil lamp. A really really precariously balanced oil lamp. Reply Marie Lawson says: August 14, 2019 at 12:37 am Dude the peach hack… that water isn’t boiling it isn’t even simmering!!! Rapidly boiling water, about 10 seconds then cold water… make an x in the bottom of the skin with a sharp knife first… For the orange candle, soak the “wick” with the oil to light it quicker Reply ChirumboloFilm says: August 14, 2019 at 12:50 am it would be great for you to revisit the pineapple hack with completely ripe ones. those that you had were so not ripe. Reply Arianne Bittencourt Effgen says: August 14, 2019 at 1:24 am That pineapple isn't ripe enough to be sweet. Reply Chestnutty says: August 14, 2019 at 1:49 am Was anyone else here at 150k subscribers when he was called "my virgin kitchen"? Reply Courtney Lynne says: August 14, 2019 at 5:05 am Put an egg in a tube sock or pantyhose and spin the get in a circle and as the sock/hose gets wound up you then pull them apart and it'll spin super fast (think of the kids toy that you'd pull apart and it's spin in the middle).. and create a golden egg. Reply Courtney Lynne says: August 14, 2019 at 5:09 am Also another hack is to help with caramel and candied apples. Drop the apple into boiling water for 15 seconds it helps get the wax off of the skin and drop into ice bath. It helps the caramel and candy coating stick to the apple much better. Reply CWCustoms says: August 14, 2019 at 5:32 am Mrs. B is so pretty! Reply Zwordsman says: August 14, 2019 at 5:38 am You left the peaches too long in the cold. boil a min, ice bath quickly. then rub with some paper towels ot table cloth and it rubs right off. The reason is,the hot water melts the pactin that holds the flesh and the skin together. What you did was melt it, then.. re set it solid with cold bath that long. Are you usre that microwave tomato is right? I thought you were suppose to cut them and then do the same as the peach. Boil and cool fast. Reply Patrick Plein says: August 14, 2019 at 6:10 am Barry, you can do the same thing you did with the peach to that darn toe-mah-toe. 🤠 Reply Nyrée James says: August 14, 2019 at 11:03 am Video idea: how to tell if various fruit are ripe. Then retry these with ripe fruit. Reply Mr_GiXxEr says: August 14, 2019 at 11:21 am 6:13 Eat nectarines then Reply gcrooks says: August 14, 2019 at 12:26 pm The tomato 'hack' isnt a hack just executed slobbily. You place then in boiling water for 1 min then into ice water, skin contracts and slides off. They are then used to make sauces with no lumps or pieces of chewy skin. Reply Comrade Garrett says: August 14, 2019 at 12:36 pm cracking an egg in a siev IS useful… just not for that. If you (cleanly) crack an egg into it and let the watery parts of the egg white drip through, the firmer parts of the white will not and you can then poach it without getting so many of the wispy bits. Reply Comrade Garrett says: August 14, 2019 at 12:49 pm the orange works way better if you don't cut into the flesh because the juice gets it wet and makes it hard to light Reply capitein kip says: August 14, 2019 at 2:10 pm The tomatos u need to cook them in water for 15 to 30 seconds and cool tham fast in ice or cold water Reply Mjlly Graves says: August 14, 2019 at 3:09 pm Barry it might help to have ripe peaches. That will work with ripe tomatoes. Thanks for the laughs Reply Saule Bu says: August 14, 2019 at 4:29 pm You are so gross Reply georgina gibbs says: August 14, 2019 at 5:25 pm 18:16 blew it literally haha love u guys. Reply Offensive Username says: August 14, 2019 at 7:27 pm "Oof" isn't French for egg. Reply Offensive Username says: August 14, 2019 at 7:34 pm Or just buy nectarines if you don't like fuzzy peaches. Reply Iman Amin says: August 14, 2019 at 7:35 pm I agree, Barry…I hate boiled egg yolks too. Reply Iman Amin says: August 14, 2019 at 7:38 pm The REAL tomato hack: You boil the tomatoes to blanch them, just until the x starts coming open, then shock it in ice water. Reply Georgia Louise says: August 14, 2019 at 8:19 pm The tomatoes are like blanching them as you did with the peaches. But the reason is to make a dish with tomato dice that you don’t have the skin on. Such as salsa which tastes better with blanched tomatoes Reply Robin Brown says: August 14, 2019 at 9:11 pm I read that the pineapple that peels in the popular hack video is a certain type. You can't do thus hack with regular pineapples which is why it didn't work. Reply Kathleen Webster says: August 15, 2019 at 2:00 am Mrs Barry is a much prettier version of Linda Hamilton Reply Amethyst Jean says: August 15, 2019 at 3:03 am cut the x in the tomato and put it in the hot water same as peaches Reply Venom Mom says: August 15, 2019 at 3:53 am I don't like the texture of peach fluff either, but after I wash them, I rub it with a coarse towel and the fluff is pretty minimal. Reply Joanne Ganon says: August 15, 2019 at 4:30 am Peach fuzz!Like a peubic boys chin.Jo Jo in VT 🇺🇸 Reply Joanne Ganon says: August 15, 2019 at 4:39 am You two should do more.Funny ha hahaha Jo Jo Reply Johanna Peel says: August 15, 2019 at 4:59 am The peach one works well when the peach is ripe Reply Bald Fairy says: August 15, 2019 at 5:13 am When I’m canning peaches I blanch (drop into boiling water) for a minute, then into ice bath. No worries. Do the same with tomatoes. Has to be at rolling boil. Reply Matt in Tassie says: August 15, 2019 at 7:34 am Isn't Mrs Barry wonderful !!! Such a great couple Reply Shannon Goatcher says: August 15, 2019 at 7:44 am Barry, to tell if pineapples are ripe, just look at the colour. If they’re green (like the ones you had) they are not ripe at all. When they’re ripe, they’re a browny-yellow colour. Reply lai nightwalker says: August 15, 2019 at 3:32 pm pretty sure the tomato one is the same as the peaches. blanch in hot water and then cold water Reply Kikii McIntosh says: August 15, 2019 at 5:26 pm “Where do they grow pineapples? Wales?” 😂 Reply grimTales1 says: August 15, 2019 at 10:46 pm 2:49 avacado = 'ave a car, though Reply grimTales1 says: August 15, 2019 at 10:51 pm 6:52 The peach one is just like peeling tomatoes, no?
