>>The chocolate chip cookie recipe is an
all-time favorite and a perfect treat for kids.
The first step is to preheat
the oven to 350 degrees.
While the oven is preheating, I will begin
to make the cookie dough.
For the chocolate chip cookie recipe, I use
butter, cream cheese, which I allowed to soften
at room temperature, ground pecans, eggs,
and sugar-free chocolate chips.
Weigh the room temperature
butter using a gram scale.
Be sure to zero the scale before starting.
The rest of the ingredients have
already been weighed ahead of time.

Add in the room temperature cream cheese,
the eggs, and the ground pecans.
Then, mix well.

The pecans were ground
sing a small food processor.
If a food processor is not available, a coffee
grinder or a mortar and a pestle can also
be used.

Add in a pinch of baking soda and cream of
tartar, half a teaspoon DaVinci gourmet sugar-free
vanilla syrup, and two drops of stevia.
Mix well.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and
spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Scoop the batter onto the baking
sheet 1 to 2 inches apart.
Flatten to form small round cookies
and top with chocolate chips.

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the edges
are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and
allow to cool before serving.

not available, you can top the cookies
with raisins or other dried fruits, or you
can serve fresh fruit on the side.
