Keto Pizza (Meat Crust Pizza) | Keto Recipes | Headbanger’s Kitchen

Horns up and welcome to a brand new episode
of Headbanger’s Kitchen.
Today, we’ve got a great recipe for you guys.
A couple of years ago, I’d made something
called the Undying Meatzza, which was a pizza with no bread,
only meat at the bottom.
Now, of course, that’s become a fad on Keto
– I don’t know what we call it on Keto,
we call it a Keto pizza maybe – and we’ve
done the cauliflower pizza, so today I thought
I’d sort of reinvent the Meatzza which I’d
done and we’re going to make it with chicken
mince today and some pepperoni and some mushrooms
and it’s gonna be delicious!
So let’s go and make that Meatzza.
So we’re gonna start out by seasoning our
chicken mince with some salt, some pepper
and use whatever other herbs you like; I’m
just using a garlic bread seasoning.
Give that all a good mix and our chicken mince
is prepped and ready.
The next thing we’re gonna do is oil a frying
pan and I’m using a small one so I can make
a 6-inch pizza, and once that’s oiled we’re going
to put in our chicken mince and shape it in
the form of a pizza.
Then we’re going to turn on our gas on high
and the idea is to cook the base of the pizza
and give it some nice colour.
Also, what this will do is prevent it from
becoming soggy and mushy.
Now you can see that the pizza is starting
to cook from the bottom up, and just as it’s
almost done we’re going to take it off the
gas and put it on a wire rack.
Once that is done, we’re going to top it with
some pesto paste – you can also use some
tomato sauce if you like – I’m going to
add some mushrooms, our cheese and some pepperoni.
Then we’re going to put this in our oven on
the highest temperature possible, with only
the broiler setting on.
This is just so that we can brown the cheese
on the top and cook the rest of the pizza
– that’s gonna take you no more than 10
minutes or so.
And once that is done we’ll remove it from
the oven.
Let it rest for about five minutes or so and
your Meatzza is ready to eat.
Now we’re gonna slice it.
That looks dee-licious!
Okay, so it’s time to taste this delicious
meat pizza, chicken meat pizza.
Oh yeah!
I’m not kidding, guys, I think this is the
best keto pizza I’ve had, like,
by miles.
If you season your chicken well, this pizza
is a winner.
And that fresh pesto, the pepperoni, the cheese…
it’s just perfect, guys.
And with the tomato sauce it’d be great and
I’m sorry I’m talking with my mouth full.
Okay now that I’m done chewing, wow, I love
this.
I think this is going to become a regular
on my keto diet because it just hits all the
checkboxes and if you need a little more fat
just pour a little olive oil on it, drizzle
some over the top; it’s delicious, perfect,
guys.
