Keto Pecan Pie Milkshake

This is your pecan pie smoothie.
I made this pecan pie smoothie because I
personally when I got into keto started
eating so many more nuts than I would
normally eat and all of the nuts have
different benefits. So this pecan pie
smoothie, how many of you love love love
pecans? I know we all do, right, like I I
dream about that pecan pie. But I don’t
want all of that toxic sugar. In fact,
like the amount of sugar that’s found in
a slice of pecan pie, for us on keto
could be six months worth of sugar, right.
So we don’t want that. But I want us all
to be satiated and have the most
delicious foods and this of course is so
good for everybody in your family. So
this my children drink and they
absolutely love it. It’s decadent, its
tasty, it’s fast to make, and I’m gonna
show you exactly how we do it right now.
We are gonna start with 3/4 of a cup of
what’s here is coconut milk. You can use
almond milk or hemp milk, whatever you
like. That’s gonna be the base and that’s
filled with all the good fats in it
So the next layer of our pecan pie
smoothie is creamy MCT. I like to add a
tablespoon of this. You can add the
creamy MCT it really improves the
texture but again this is my secret
weapon to helping you produce twice as
many ketones in half the time, right. So
that you’re getting the fat-burning
ketogenic benefit from this amazing
delicious smoothie. The next thing we’re
gonna get into is the pecans. So we’re
gonna add 2 tablespoons of pecans. Did
you know that pecans are filled with B
vitamins and what the vitamins do in our
body is they help us to convert food
into energy. So for all of you that may
have just started to become keto adapted
or for those of you that have been keto
adapted for a period of time, you’re
always wanting to convert the food that
you’re eating into energy and a great
way to do that is with pecans. Pecans are
also filled with tons of magnesium which
I love and so do you because we know
that it’s helping us with so many
chemical reactions in our body they say
now up to 600 chemical reactions so I
take magnesium in all sorts of ways but
I love getting them from the creamy and
buttery texture of pecans. And now for
the next layer of our pecan pie smoothie
we’re gonna add flax seeds so these are
ground-up flax seeds we’re gonna add two
tablespoons and I like to grind them up.
You get more of the Omega threes in them
and they just nourish us so much. So flax
seeds are a tremendous benefit to all of
our health. My grandmother actually used
to use flax seeds on top of her cereal
that she was eating every single morning.
We know better than having cereal and it
was an
oatmeal, she’s Swiss German, but this
here in this smoothie you just can’t
beat it. So the next ingredient that we
want to do is either a cashew butter or
an almond butter. You want to have some
other form of nut butter. So this recipe
calls for two tablespoons of I’m going
to try to get this off here I’ll be nut
butter. But I really like mixing up the
nuts right there’s a variety of
different nuts in here and we know that
you’re getting all sorts of different
benefits from them. I want you to add a
teaspoon of Ceylon cinnamon. This will
help your body burn that fat and utilize
that and metabolize it so not only is it
like incredibly delicious and we all
love the taste of cinnamon but it’s got
all of these functional benefits to it
as well. So just think about how
incredibly fast we made this this is the
last ingredient, it’s a dash of Celtic
sea salt. You can use Himalayan sea salt.
What I want for you when you’re doing
the keto life is I want you to get
enough sodium so adding that little dash
of sea salt helps you to get that. These
ingredients together can truly get you
into that place of ketosis and you’re
doing it in the most delicious way. Think
about it you can fill up the blender
make it for the whole family everybody
who loves pecan pie will love your
smoothie.
Oh my goodness that is like the most
delicious
not milkshake pecan pie crazy heaven
love right in her. We’re mixing cashews
or macadamia nuts, you’re getting flax
seeds, you’re getting MCTS from coconuts,
and all of these not sort of layered
together supports your body incredibly.
So what I want you to do with this
incredible milkshake smoothie is use it
when you’re adapting to becoming fat
adapted right. So when your body’s going
through that shift because it’s gonna
help convert your food into energy
because there’s so many B vitamins
there’s lots of magnesium in here it
tastes like the most decadent drink I’ve
ever had and everybody that you serve
this to is gonna flip out, as well. Thanks
