Keto No Bake Chocolate Coconut Macraoons

hey everybody so today I wanted to bring
you a quick recipe that we found in a
cookbook that dawn actually got me for
Christmas and being on keto we kinda
want something sweet every now and then
so we found these quick little well not
really I don’t know how quick is gonna
be we’ve never done this but we found
these no baked chocolate coconut
macaroons so we are going to try to make
those today and I thought I would go
ahead and show you how we do that and
just in case you would like to do it
yourself so I am going to list the
ingredients down below and the
ingredients that it calls for we are
actually going to have everything the
reason being is because we it’s just the
two of us on the truck we don’t have a
lot of space to put it in the fridge for
them to cool we don’t know if they’re
gonna be any good we don’t know if
they’re gonna be any good so we are
going to have the recipe but I will put
the full recipe in the description below
that way if you want to make these at
home or if you have more room and so
forth if you got more people you’re
making them for but since it’s just us
we’re gonna do a smaller version of this
so what you need for this though is you
do need butter almond milk unsweetened
swerve sugar replacement cocoa powder
almond butter vanilla extract kosher
salt and unsweetened coconut and almonds
we’re actually going to omit the almonds
to reduce the carb count just a little
bit and the first thing you want to do
is actually get two baking sheets with
parchment paper of course we don’t have
baking sheets out here so we actually
just took two pans put some tin foil on
it put a little bit of coconut oil on it
so I don’t stick and we have those set
aside and then the first thing you want
to do is in a small saucepan as you see
Don doing that here you’re going to
combine the butter the almond milk the
sweetener and the cocoa powder together
and you want to heat the butter until
it’s melted and then they bring the
mixture to a boil you want to boil this
for approximately 1 minute it says one
minute exactly and it also says have all
of your ingredients ready to go so once
it’s done boiling you can move on to the
next step very easily and that right
there that he’s putting in is the cocoa
powder unsweetened
I hope this turns out really good it’s
nice to have a little snack something
will calm that sweet tooth down every
now and then whenever it rots ugly and
it’s melted butter of course it smells
good
oh it’s a couple powders yeah that
smells good
so I wanted to also mention the swerve
sugar replacement that we use this stuff
is also you know sometimes sometimes
whenever you buy sweeteners like Splenda
or any of the other sweeteners they
actually can raise your insulin levels
in your blood sugar because it is just
such a sweet response and your body
triggers that as sugar so however the
swerve it does not raise insulin it does
not cause your body to have a react to
it
so it’s very very good for being on the
side because it does help keep your
insulin levels low so as you can see we
just put in the almond butter so now we
are going to add the vanilla and the
salt and then once you get those
ingredients in it just says to combine
it all together and then we are going to
pour the mixture over coconut flakes and
at that time we’re going to add an
additional half a cup of sweetener it’s
like I said we are having everything so
we’re doing grams here a bit roughly
another 75 grams of sweetener which is
the swerve sugar replacement and then
all you do is place it in the
refrigerator until everything gets solid
and hot again
once we get all this done and then we
put it in the fridge so that has been
cold and then we will be back to show
you the final product all right so it
has been in the fridge for how long how
would you how long do you think it’s
been in there
thirty more like thirty minutes so
spooning the fridge for about thirty
minutes and what you want to do is just
let the butter kind of get incorporated
into the coconut you want it to kind of
harden you don’t want it to be
completely solid because you still got
to be able to form it so the
instructions say to take two tablespoons
servings and just make little balls and
like I said we don’t have any parchment
paper or anything and we don’t have a
fridge big enough to put a big sheet pan
in there so we’ve got a paper plate here
or lined with some tinfoil we put some
coconut oil on the bottom so they don’t
stick and you just make little balls and
the recipe also calls for coconuts to
put water scum I’m sorry not coconut
almond the recipe calls for almonds to
place one almond on top but we’re
actually going to omit the almonds just
to kind of help with the carb count a
little bit and speaking of carb count
let me also go ahead and give you the
details of that so per serving you have
roughly 277 calories and you have 2.3
net carbs per one so that’s not that bad
2.3 carbs for a snack and to be able to
satisfy that sweet tooth
so guys there you have it that’s pretty
much it we’re gonna put these back in
the fridge and we are going to let them
harden up which will probably take
probably another 30 to 45 minutes and
then we will be able to have a snack
whenever we have dinner tonight
so guys thank you so much for watching I
hope you enjoyed the video I know it was
a short quick one and not a whole lot to
show but I just wanted to show you this
this was the first time making these and
we’ve already tried the batter right now
and it’s really good so if you try these
please leave a comment down below let me
know how you liked it and if you tweaked
it anyways and make it better let me
know like I said I left them in the
description how to make these so uh
definitely give them a try and let me
know what you think thank you guys so
much for watching and subscribe as we
really do appreciate it as always until
our next video
take care
