Keto Macadamia Cookies (with Citrus Bergamot!)

Who would have thought that you can get
so many nutrients from a cookie? I’m
gonna share with you a keto macadamia
nut citrus bergamont cookie and the only
instructions I want to give you is you
need to eat one a day for 30 days. Here’s
where I get really excited. I get kind of
geeked out. I can’t help myself, but this
is where we’re going to combine all of
the dry ingredients and you’re gonna see
the secret tools that I add into these
cookies. So first and foremost, we’re
going to start with 1 and 3/4 cup of
almond flour. We’re going to be adding a
quarter cup of coconut flour. This is 20
servings of 500 milligrams of the citrus
bergamot fruit extract, which is
essentially like 20 entire citrus
bergamot fruits and the power to help
balance your cholesterol profiles,
enhance your antioxidant profiles,
support good cardiovascular health. It’s
all in here. And you’re never going to
know that in each cookie you’re getting
a full serving of the citrus bergamot
fruit. The reason I like to combine them
in cookies is look, you can take one of
these every day. And you’ll see them in
our link. I bring it back from Calabria,
Italy. I’m really passionate about this
ingredient, but so many people don’t want
to take a capsule. And so I thought look,
what better way than to make a cookie
that can give you all of these
ingredients. So now that we’ve got the
citrus bergamot, you can add 2-3
tablespoons of monk fruit. We have half
of a teaspoon of baking soda and we’re
going to have a quarter of a teaspoon of
the Celtic sea salt.
You’re gonna mix all the dry ingredients
together and you’ll set them aside. Now,
we’re going to put into the food
processor or however you want to do this.
One egg, and again you’re getting the
good fats, the good levels of cholesterol.
I can’t wait for us in this country to
really change the way that we understand
what it is to utilize the cholesterol
that we have in our body. Our brain is
made like 20% of cholesterol.
We need cholesterol for so many reasons
and understanding how to really work
with it is important. So here’s two
tablespoons of grass-fed butter. So I’m
gonna add three drops of citrus bergamot
fruit into it’s a citrus bergamot fruit
oil, two teaspoons of natural vanilla
extract, and then the most delicious
macadamia nuts. You’re gonna add 1/4 of a
cup you’re gonna fold that right in
Oh, oops.
with all these delicious ingredients I
completely forgot to put the blade back
in. So I know you all will not be doing
that, but now the blades in first, things
first. We’re gonna preheat the oven to 350.
We’ve now gone through using the food
processor. We’ve got our cookie dough
here and you’re just gonna fill up this
little scoop and put it on the parchment
paper. I am very much about using
parchment paper. 20 of these little
balls, which will become our cholesterol
citrus bergamot macadamia nut keto
cookies. So beautiful. Now this is 20 that
I’m making in this batch and my goal is
for you to eat one per day. You’re
getting the therapeutic benefits the
cholesterol balancing benefits of these
keto macadamia nut citrus bergamot cookies.
It’s been 10 minutes.
Shall we get our cookies? Okay, oh my! The
aroma of the citrus bergamot is so
delicious and it’s so fresh. It’s almost
like when I was in Calabria. I went to
experience where they were making all of
the oil and as soon as you walk into
that facility, you are overcome with this
great sense of well-being and for
somebody like me that is a type-A, has a
lot of stress, the citrus bergamot fruit
really helps me to balance out, mellow
out a little bit and these cookies, each
and every one of them has 500 milligrams
of the citrus bergamot extract right in
them. And they’re therapeutic, they are
your cholesterol balancing, keto friendly,
macadamia nut cookies. And they took us
what, less than 20 minutes to make? I hope
I inspired you. I hope you realize that
