Keto / Low Carb Recipe- *Egg Sausage Casserole *

July 27, 2019 2 By William Morgan

hey guys good afternoon it’s Michelle
from pure goddess university and I’m in
the kitchen again so today we are going
to make a low-carb egg casserole egg
breakfast casserole it’s gonna have pork
sausage some broccoli some eggs some
cheese
heavy whipping cream and some salt
pepper garlic powder and onion powder
supposed to be real simple it’s a recipe
loosely based on the one from keto
connect I need something for the week to
munch on for breakfast so we’re going to
give this new a casserole it go so the
very first thing I’m going to do is I’m
going to defrost the sausage and then
we’re going to fry it up in a pan so be
back when it get to that point so now
that the sausage is defrosting I’m going
to cut up this head of broccoli into
small pieces you can substitute the
broccoli for spinach onions peppers
mushrooms
I think it’s endless what you could do
but I’m gonna go ahead and use broccoli
because that’s what I have on hand and
that’s what the recipe calls for and
when I’m done I’m gonna be using this
what is it 9 by 12 pan and you also can
use an iron skillet or maybe even turn
into muffins I think it’s pretty
flexible recipe but I’m going to be
defrosting the sausage and cutting up
the broccoli and I will be back hey guys
I’m back so now I am browning the
sausage and olive oils and garlic and
pepper just
a little bit so I’m going to do this for
a couple of minutes we broccoli is all
cut up and ready to go so we’re going to
finish browning the sausage and then
we’re going to work on the egg mixture
so stay tuned guys coming together okay
guys so the sausage is browning and now
I’ve added the egg mixture which is six
eggs they wanted a 1/4 cup almond milk a
1/4 cup heavy cream all I have is heavy
cream so I did 2 1/4 cups of heavy cream
I added some pepper some garlic salt
some onion powder some red flakes and
now we’re going to whip up the egg
mixture and then we’re going to pull out
the grease from the sausage my sausage
had a lot of grease I probably didn’t
need the olive oil in here because the
sausage is very greasy so I’m gonna have
to you know pour the sausage out of the
grease because we’re going to add in the
broccoli mixture to the meat so I’m
going to go ahead and whip up the egg
mixture and I will be back ok guys so
now I have the sausage and the broccoli
assimilated now we’re going to pour the
egg mixture over the sausage and
broccoli
okay now she did say you know it might
not get fully submerged in the egg
mixture and that’s okay because when it
cooks it’s going to rise so I’m gonna
cook it I believe 25 minutes at 350 and
so I would be bad guys one quick note
because I don’t have a lot of sausage in
my recipe I did one more layer of cheese
on top and I sprinkled a little bit of
bacon bits on the top to give it a
little bit more umph a little bit more
meat so now we’re going to pop this bad
boy in the oven and help you back okay
guys this is the egg casserole it looks
really yummy I put a little bit of
cheese and the bacon bits on the top
cooked it for about 40 minutes at 350 it
looks amazing
so I’ll have this for the next four or
five days super excited guys I might
come back and do a taste test for you
you guys I just had a taste test it’s
amazing woah I could almost put it in
for like another five minutes it’s
really creamy let’s see right here
really fluffy eggs with the broccoli and
the cheese it’s so good you guys I
highly highly recommend it the recipe
will be on my blog p.rajesh University
