Keto Kills Sugar Cravings for Easier Weight Loss

we’re talking about why the ketogenic
diet is so effective for weight loss and
today we’re going to talk about how the
ketogenic diet – after the first three to
four days on keto your carb cravings
will be way way WAY reduced and this is
another reason why the ketogenic diet is
so effective for weight loss this hasn’t
happened to you and you’ve been on keto
stay tuned because I do have a couple
troubleshooting things for you at the
end of this video but anyways for most
people when you are on the ketogenic
diet because your body isn’t running on
glucose anymore your brain isn’t running
on glucose anymore your muscles they’re
running on ketones which is a byproduct
of digesting fact which can be either
from dietary sources or from your intake
usually combination of both your food
intake but anyways because your body
isn’t using sugar all day every day to
run your brain and run your muscles it’s
no longer craving sugar and so this
isn’t to say that you will I completely
forget that you ever liked Ben & Jerry’s
because I don’t know about you but Ben
and Jerry’s will always have a special
place in my heart but it’s something
that you will definitely not feel the
pole it’s like someone can have pizza
delivered and you’re like happy to
scrape off the toppings and just eat the
toppings or you’re happy to make a salad
and sprinkle it with some cheese and
have a nice salad instead you don’t have
that pull that carb craving like the
roller coaster that we were on before
the each of sugar and then we exhausted
while you’re trying to digest it I want
to take a nap and then want some more
sugar later and I call out the carb
roller coaster you get off the car
roller coaster and this is a reason why
the ketogenic diet is really effective
for weight loss is because once we get
rid of the carb cravings like really
most of the junky food that we eat is
either allowed on keto which is like
fried eggs and cheese and sausage and
that kind of thing or it’s a carb and so
once we can get rid of the carb cravings
we aren’t overeating with additional
junk food calories anymore we’re just
eating a real high-quality Whole Foods
diet and so now I promised that I would
tell you if you’ve been on keto for a
while and you do still have those carb
cravings it can
sometimes be from artificial sweeteners
and so different people have different
sensitivities some people are great
using likes where sweetener erythritol
Splenda like all of those lower carb
icone frankenfoods I’m sorry I try not
to have judgment associated with foods
but they’re made in the lab they’re not
grown and picked from a garden they’re
definitely made in a lab and sometimes
your body because it’s getting the sweet
taste and it’s even getting
carbohydrates in there they’re just uh
additional undigestible carbohydrates
you’re still getting that kind of
rollercoaster response to it it’s
probably a little bit lower than it
would be but it might be preventing you
from getting rid of your card cravings
and then the second and probably least
less likely reason for having the carb
cravings is if you haven’t got your
electrolytes right if you’re not taking
potassium magnesium and sodium and the
form of salt then your body might still
have like the brain fog going on it
might be like you know I think we really
function better on carbohydrates than we
are doing in keto on low-carb and it
could just be an electrolyte issue and
so if you can fix your electrolyte so a
lot of times your body will be like hey
we really like you know and those card
cravings will go away if you would like
help eating food that doesn’t have any
of those frankenfoods doesn’t kind of
any of those sugars and is low carb with
the calorie counts and the carbohydrate
counts all counted for you and a nice
family friendly meal plan I’d love for

Taco Tuesday still we have pigs in a
blanket we have nourishing soups for the
fall and the winter we have lots of
really yummy food that everyone in your
family will accept you aren’t making two
different meals and it’s all low-carb
it’s all healthy whole foods that are
gonna be healing to your body promote
weight loss if that’s what you’re going
for and they’re gonna be simple enough
that you can make them in the kitchen
without having to buy tons and tons of
weird mixed months of ingredients so I’m
a mom I’m on keto I actually have one of
my kids on keto as well but I also have
two that or not and so I like to make
food that everyone can eat and if you
