Keto Easy Cheddar Bread خبز تشيدر كيتو

Salam. I’m going to make the cheddar bread that I’ve showed in the stories this morning and many asked for the recipe
I just threw ingredients together without even measuring. It turned out to be a delicious thing
By the look of it, these quantities seems liken what I used this morning
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
I used this one coz it was already open. You can use any cheddar you prefer

1/3 cup of almond flour. I used blanched. You can use unblanched too

You can substitute with coconut flour but you should use less amount since coconut flour absorbs more moisture

So use 1/4 cup of coconut flour instead of 1/3 cup
1 large egg

Salt + baking powder + garlic powder or onion powder

Cracked black pepper and dried fried onions
use any type of dried fried onions just be sure that it contains no flour coz some do

This one has only onions and oil

Preheat oven on 160 C
I’ll melt this cheese in the microwave. use double boiler method if you don’t like using microwaves
We only want it to melt slightly, no need to be completely melted like we do with the mozarella

Here it is all soft. It took 30 sec. Other types of cheddars and microwaves may vary so keep this in mind

Now add in all the other ingredients
1 egg . 1/2 tsp baking powder . 1/3 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp garlic powder
You can add any herbs or flavour it to your liking

And add the 1/3 cup of almond flour and mix well

Just mix it with a spoon till you get a wet thick and sticky batter

I forgot to mention that I’ve also added a small dash of sweetener to it
Coz I like a hint of sweetness in my pastries
It goes well against the saltiness of the cheese
A tiny dash that’s all you’ll need

See how thick and sticky the batter is

I made two bread out of this. You can make one big one or tiny bite size ones, as you like

You can use a very good non stick oven tray or any oven tray lined with baking paper

These are my two pieces

If you don’t like it to have lumps on the top, you can smooth it out with a wet spoon

I’m going to top one of them with cracked black pepper and dried onions like I did this morning
That one was REALLY delicious

I added the black pepper and now the dried onions. They are fried and crispy

This tastes great with cheese
Even with eggs. Just add some to your eggs before cooking them
You’ll get delicious eggs with onions without getting the onion smell on you

These onions are great for convenience

Just press lightly to make sure it’s sticking on top

The onion will burn in the oven, so just cover it with another piece of paper or something

Now bake them in the preheated oven on 160 C
It only took 4 minutes to cook
it takes no time at all

Now just spread some butter on the top. It’ll give it some shine and extra flavour and fat

This is a fatty bread. So you can eat it plain without anything else to adjust the macros

it’s nice to have it plain with black tea or coffee

Especially because we used cheddar cheese which is delicious and full of flavour unlike mozarella which is very plain
