Keto Diet Start of 2nd Week

Keto Diet Start of 2nd Week

August 2, 2019 1 By William Morgan

Hey guys! It’s the start of the second
week of my ketovegetarian diet, and now
let me show you what meals I’ve got for
today.
So right here we have the breakfast,
lunch and dinner, as well as the snack. But
before we get right to it, let me first
explain how I understand keto so far.
First the basics: the ketogenic diet is a
high fat, moderate protein, low carb, and
no sugar diet. So if you put that in
percentages, it’s 75% fat, 20% protein,
5% carbs, and no sugar. So make sure you
cut down on sugar and carbs and control
your protein intake. So the second one is:
what’s the difference between a normal
diet and a ketogenic diet? The normal
diet usually have carbohydrates or sugar,
so the fuel that you use is sugar,
whereas on the ketogenic diet the fuel
that you use is fat. So I have a kind of
a theory going around here, that when you
eat the normal diet you eat sugar, carbs,
as well as fat. That’s why you burn the
sugar but the fat, you store it because
you don’t use fuel as fat. But in the
ketogenic diet, it’s all fat that you
burn, so you lose your fat bit by bit
throughout the days. And what are the
side effects of the ketogenic diet? So
the first one is the keto flu: you get
sick after the start of your keto diet.
The second one is
the cramps, because there are no
electrolytes in your food. So how to
prevent that is to eat vegetables. And
the third one is bad breath, because you
start getting acetone in your breath. So
now let’s get to the food that I have.
There’s the breakfast, which is actually
ramen. And yesterday I ate ramen with
friends, or rather my friends ate ramen
and I just ate egg because eggs are keto
friendly. And speaking of eggs, the lunch is
eggs. And that’s my technique for the
keto diet. If I don’t have anything to
eat, eggs are my go-to food. For the
dinner, it’s sushi rolls. So, it looks
delicious right? And for the snack,
it’s a keto fudge.
So you might be wondering, why is there
a dessert? Because in the ketogenic diet
there’s actually a keto friendly
sweetener which is stevia, which I talked
about before. So you don’t have to starve
yourself or deny yourself of the
delicious food, you just have to make
sure that what you take is keto
friendly. Thanks for watching, and I hope
