Keto Day 10 Update | Oh Hell Ke-No

hello beautiful what are you doing
tonight hey guys welcome back to Dayton
Quito update and Sunday Funday here so
don’t worry about that going in but
yesterday was actually kind of an
interesting day like I had some
different things happen and I wrote
myself a little note because it was just
a lot of kind of like weird stuff and I
wanted to share with you guys so I’m
gonna be reading from this because just
because so it said I had tons of energy
when I woke up and I had a bulletproof
coffee around 9:30 and then I didn’t eat
again until 12:30 so yesterday I was
actually accidentally pretty much
intermittent fasting and by the time I
looked at the clock it had been 17 hours
so then the weirdest thing happened so I
broke my fast with this no right here
two eggs one ounce of cheese and veggie
bacon strips
it’s not a ton of food and it’s like
very protein heavy and I think it had
like three grams of carbs or something
well what happened when I ate was that I
became a level of tired that I don’t
even know how to explain it was
literally I felt like I had been drugged
like I’m laying down on my carpet near
the fireplace and I passed out for like
four hours it was the weirdest feeling I
kept like trying to wake up and every
time I woke up my body was like no girl
go back to bed
so I listen to my body so that’s what I
did I went back to sleep it was very
very weird and then I woke up and I kind
of felt like a little bit Quito fluish I
was like oh no no not this but you know
then I went and I drank my little
electrolyte drink felt perfectly fine
and then I had gobs of energy for the
rest of the day so it’s just kind of
like a weird day but guess what happened
y’all guess what happened when I weighed
in this morning
down again a hundred and fifty 6.8 is my
current weight that’s a total of four
point four pounds in ten days which to
me is crazy like that is crazy and even
last night I didn’t even like hit all my
macros like I definitely my protein was
way lower than it should we’re not way
lower but it was like 70 grams instead
of 95 my fat wasn’t quite where it
should have been and my calories were a
little bit low and I even had two
glasses of wine because I love to make
terrible decisions and my carbs were 25
Toth yeah 25 total carbs of 20 and
because of the wine obviously and I
still lost weight like it’s crazy to me
and you know no drinking is not like a
part of my normal thing and it certainly
wouldn’t recommend it when you’re in
Quito but you know it was Saturday it’s
been 10 days I wanted to have a glass of
wine or two so I did and again that’s
one of those things where it’s like I
don’t want Quito to become a prison
where I can’t enjoy it you know I have
these little things called phone dates
with my friends that live in various
parts of the country because I’ve moved
around quite a bit keep in touch with
those people and sometimes we’ll have a
little wine phone dates and that’s what
was happening last night and you know I
don’t want to feel like that’s getting
stripped out of my life and just to be
part of Quito so I had the wine and do I
feel guilty about it
hell no I don’t anyway I was able to
fast for 17 hours not eat my full macros
because quite frankly I just wasn’t
hungry and then you know have two
glasses of wine and guys I’m telling you
that not because I’m advocating that you
drink while you’re trying to move into
ketosis or while you’re on keto I’m
telling you that because I’m gonna keep
it real with you like sorry but every
now and again I’m gonna have a glass of
wine or a bourbon on the rocks and
that’s just the way it is like I’m not
gonna stop living my life just to eat a
certain way that’s not gonna happen I’m
gonna be more careful about it and I’m
gonna be more deliberate about when I do
it and how much of it I consume
obviously but I guess I’m sharing this
with you because you know keto doesn’t
have to mean Oh like you know whatever
if the keto mafia if y’all want to talk
you know what in the comments below
knock yourself out
I’ll be thinking of you the next time I
have a glass of wine that almost
to mention if you want to keep watching
I’m gonna show you kind of what happened
when I was logging the macros from that
book and then take you shopping with me
real quick and show you what I picked up
log this in carbon manager and I did the
macros and I went ahead did it so you
all didn’t have to watch me do it and
this this is the second week the second
beginner’s week guys so it switches to
like a bulletproof coffee chicken parm
noodles for lunch and fajita salad for
dinner but guys what is happening here
do you see 43 of 20 total carbs 30 net
carbs 128 grams of fat way more protein
than you’re supposed to be having and
look at these calories 1768 I don’t know
who this is a meal plan for but I can
promise you it’s not gonna be a meal
plan for me great recipes still for
maybe for cheat days but it is gonna get
if I can I borrow somebody else’s thumb
so I can give this thing multiple thumbs
down for recommending it as a keto meal
prep book I basically just kind of
customized it to myself and removed a
lot of the excess carbs and let’s go
grab it
let’s just take two of you

sometimes so this is tough for me to
even like get back into any of the
but we’re trying new things so let’s
figure
ground turkey let’s go at this guy right
here so much okay seriously it’s not for
me grabbing some candy for my daughter’s
little weekend birthday party and she
loves being lose ‘old still so yeah
there’s all the birthdays $85 but a fair
amount of that was like stuff I don’t
even up for my daughter’s party hello

like lots of other bags but that was
stuff for my daughter’s birthday

avocado blue cheese crumbles butter
cheese salmon ground beef turkey guys
Quito does not have to be rocket science
there you go carrying with you
throughout the week kind of a what I eat
in a day and then the macros for that
and and that’s it so I’m pretty excited
like I said four point four pounds down
in ten days is nothing to like turn away
from I’m very happy about that I’m gonna
keep going
