JUST LET MOMMA SIT FOR A MINUTE (or all day, lol! 😂)

September 13, 2019 100 By William Morgan

– Happy Saturday, friends.
Today is our last lake day or
probably our next to last lake day.
The local lake has closed
down during the week
because a lot of the schools
have gotten back in session,
so the lifeguards have
gone back to school,
we don’t have any lifeguards
when that happens.
But it’s still open on Saturdays,
so we’re going today, and
it’s not supposed to rain,
and we’re also gonna go do this fun trail
that we also haven’t done in a year.
I don’t know what we do with all our time,
but our hope and dream
has been to go over,
to do the trail, to do the
lake, to have a great day,
and that’s what we’re doin’, so let’s go.
Before we go we’re pickin’ up.
Liam’s wiping some walls,
Gabriel’s puttin’ dishes away,
Naomi’s shuffling laundry, Amelia,
gettin’ your hair all brushed out, huh?
Woohoo!
Keep on brushin’.
And you are drivin’ your car, yes you are.
Good job, woo, there you go.
And then, I showed this
in my Instagram stories,
but anyway, last night I was at Walmart
and I’ve been eyeballing this jumbo
bowling game for like over a year.
It’s been like $23.
They had it marked down to 11,
then when they rung it
up it was only five,
and I really want the jumbo checkers too,
maybe they’ll mark that down to five.
I didn’t see any of those last night.
But anyway, we’re gonna play that soon,
it’s gonna be a lot of fun.
Big sigh, I just had two
drama things that have taken
up our time for getting
out the door this Saturday.
Kids are in the van now, I think, though.
First thing was I just happened
to get an email from PayPal.
There was like a $1
transaction comin’ through
my business debit card from SamsClub.com,
and you all know what that means.
Usually when you start seeing
those like one or $2 charges
and you know you didn’t make ’em,
someone has gotten your
bank card number and,
I keep saying bank card,
but this, again, PayPal,
same difference here, got
my PayPal card number,
and they were just testing to see
if they could put bigger charges through.
I’ve had that happen with my bank card.
I’ll check my account and it’ll be like,
oh, someone just filled up
$77 in Philadelphia in gas.
And then, the next charge,
like the same instant
when I’m looking at the charges, oh,
and then they went to a liquor store, hmm.
Okay, and so then, I call
my bank, cancel the card.
So I just had to go
through that with PayPal,
and that probably took an
hour-and-a-half of my life.
So all of this to say it’s
now 1:13 and we’re leaving.
I don’t know if we’re gonna skip our walk
that we were gonna do before,
but we’re gettin’ out of here.
We’re doin’ fun stuff and
havin’ a happy Saturday.
Okay, we’re here, we made it.
Come get your toys, Benjamin.
– Hi.
– [Jamerrill] I see you, silly Billy.
Here’s our loot here and
our clothes over there.
– You know that kind of past there?
– [Jamerrill] Uh huh.
– Could I go there?
– [Jamerrill] You may
with your life jacket on,
yes, I’ll watch ya, yes.
Woohoo, it is about 75 and
I don’t want to get in,
but the kids are having fun (laughs).
You playin’?
I’m hoping Benjamin’s
gonna be happy enough.
He’s trying to get his jacket on, though.
– Thank you, mommy.
– [Jamerrill] Oh, yes,
he said thank you mommy.
Oh, you’re welcome, that’s so nice.
So why don’t you dig?
Gabriel made peanut
butter jelly time while
I was on the phone
dealing with my bank card.
So you boys, do you want one now, Daniel?
– Yep.
– Yeah.
Do you want one, Benjamin?
Want a sandwich?
We have apples too.
They’re the peanut butter running boys.
They’re running with their
little bites of sandwich.
Run in circles.
Liam’s diggin’, digging to China.
So I’m just sitting here supervisin’.
I’m doing my no fun mom drill right now.
I’m sittin’ in the sunshine
watching these little ones.
These boys are working really hard.
You digging a hole, Daniel?
– No, we’re not.
We’re making a mud bath.
– [Jamerrill] A mud bath?
That is fun.
I see.
You and Daniel are
having a good time there.
Are you loadin’ up your bucket?
It’s a good time.
Look at that, you got your dinosaur,
your baby and your sandwich.
You are set.
– No.
– Ooo, yucky.
– [Jamerrill] It’s okay, pick him up.
You gettin’ back in?
– No, I’m going to use the restroom.
– Oh, okay, well, I gotta
do that too (laughs).
Lake check in, I’m still
sitting, so life is good.
Zion has gone on a hike.
He’s being productive.
Naomi’s swimming.
Benjamin is in his little
kid area in front of me.
Gabriel’s taking a 20-minute
turn playing with him.
See, that’s what I’m incorporatin’ today.
Tools I’m utilizing.
Liam just finished a turn with Benjamin.
Benjamin’s the only wildcard.
Daniel is here swimming well.
Amelia’s right here playing in the sand.
But Benjamin wants to go
out today and momma decided,
I don’t want to get wet.
So he’s got his Little Swimmers on
and I’m lettin’ bigger kids take a turn.
And, yeah, that’s how
that’s goin’ down right now.
You want another bite of peanut butter?
You come and raid my peanut
butter bag, don’t ya?
Here we are.
You drying off a little bit?
Yeah.
Gettin’ snuggles in.
Hours later, think we got
about 30 minutes left,
and then we’re gonna start cleaning up.
So we were driving back
home over the mountain,
went by McDonald’s, thought
wouldn’t it be really,
really nice for everyone to be eating
a hot fudge sundae while
they drive over the mountain?
So that’s what we’re doing.
I sent Zion in, he’s procuring
the hot fudge sundaes,
and we will have a glorious
ride into the sunset.
Okay, well, one thing leads to another,
and we were gonna do a $8 investment,
ice cream sundaes to eat over
the happy mountain in the sunset.
Zion went in to McDonald’s,
there’s a big line,
people have been waiting
30 minutes for their food.
The ice cream machine is broke.
So now we’re getting ice
cream cones at Baskin Robbins,
but I’m still sitting.
See, that’s my theme for the
day, let mom sit (laughs).
So Naomi and Zion are now
trooping into Baskin Robbins
and getting everyone cones in there.
I’m gonna get some chocolate
in a waffle cone real soon.
Yay.
I guess I can count this as our
almost-end-of-summer festivities,
that’s what we’re calling this.
Also calling this momma needed ice cream,
so this is how a large
family momma gets ice cream.
If you want it, you gotta
get it for everybody.
Are you all handlin’ it?
(laughs) You workin’ it out?
All the money I saved by not
having my bank card totally hacked,
I caught it at the $1 hack,
and it took an hour or so of my life,
but that saved me money, and
in turn, I bought ice cream.
There you go, totally
justified, and I’m proud of it.
Okay, everyone’s fed, this
is momma’s bowl of chili.
Now to go answer some YouTube comments.
I don’t know if that’ll be
relaxing this evening or not.
Let’s see.
Happy Sunday.
So we’re doin’ our Sunday morning bagels.
Got some onion bagels
going, some cream cheese,
so we can get out the
door and get to church.
Yes and amen, here we go,
lots of kids, lots of food,
but really, if we can leave
in the next 20 minutes,
we are gonna be on time.
(upbeat folk-bluegrass music)
Well, we’ve been home for several hours.
I have been sitting
here on my front porch,
which is one of my
favorite places to work,
and hey, that’s how those
Ikea bushes have worked out
in the daylight since I showed ’em
to you the first time in the pitch dark.
Anyway, I’ve been gettin’
a bunch of work done.
I picked up this Happy Planner at Walmart,
and I’m using it as like a
business and life planner right now.
Filling out my to-do list
on the way home from church.
This is gonna be like a week or so off,
but tomorrow starts my first
ever feeding my freezer
freezer cooking challenge
that I’m leading live.
However, when this video comes out,
you can still join the challenge.
I’m going to set it up
for after I lead it live,
it’s gonna still be something
you can sign up for,
you can still get the Freezer
Cooking Quick Start Guide,
you can still have all the emails and all
the directions just sent
right back out to you,
and you can still do it.
I’m going to lead it live myself.
I’m hoping two to three times a year,
but in the meantime, it’s gonna be there,
and it’s gonna be something
that any momma can walk
herself through doing about
10 or so freezer meals
during a week on her own
just a little bit everyday.
Got things goin’ for that.
I’ve been listening to a
lot of Andrew Peterson.
I’ll tell you the exact
song I’m listening to.
It’s called Andrew
Peterson “Is He Worthy.”
Wonderful song.
I think I’ve listened to it
on repeat for four hours,
that’s just how my brain works.
So yeah, this evening continues.
The night owls are out here with me.
Bugs have totally been
eating at my arms and legs,
so that’s it, momma’s callin’ it quits.
Kids have already gone to bed.
That’s when you know sometimes
as a workin’ momma you
hit your groove once
everything settles down inside.
I am going to call it a night.
Thank you for making the best
of that day yesterday with me,
making the best of all of it, right?
Just like how we do.
Don’t forget that you
can still sign up for the
feeding my freezer
freezer cooking challenge.
You can do it with my
free quick start guide
and with some other
goodies that I have for you
by signing up in the link
in the description below.
No, it won’t be live,
but it’ll still be fun,
still be real good.
And I’ll see you next time
with another brand new video.
Bye-bye.
