Is a keto diet bad for you? | Keto Diet Explained
If you look at studies on the healthiest,
longest living populations around the world,
you will find that none of
them eat a ketogenic diet.
0% of the longest living
people groups on earth,
eat a ketogenic diet.
Because the low-carb keto diet is
unnatural, unsustainable, and unhealthy.
It’s a modern fad.
And not only that,
a 2018 meta analysis published in the
Lancet found that low-carb diets actually
shorten your lifespan by about four years.
Some of the longest living people in the
world are the Seventh Day Adventists
in Loma Linda, California.
They’ve been studied
extensively since the 1960s.
An Adventist man lives an average of seven
years longer than the average American man.
And just like the other healthy long
living populations around the world,
they eat a predominantly plant-based diet,
with no restriction on healthy
whole food carbohydrates like
beans, rice, potatoes,
whole grains, and fruit.
