After doing it for the past two weeks, they randomly pop up throughout the day or whenever I do anything that supports the affirmation it randomly pops up like "oh, I am a confident sassy bitch". Maybe if you tweak it to those times you'll see results and start liking it more 👍 Reply Ray Bayne [Pranks & Vlogs] says: August 12, 2018 at 4:57 am My morning routine:Get up immediatelyBrush teethReadReward with coffeeGymCold ShowerMeditateReward with food Pavlov to the max Reply pocokocon says: August 12, 2018 at 9:15 pm @Sorelle and at what time are you (trying) waking up? I do something very similar, was probably inspired by Tim Ferriss as well as David Allen who btw has a great book (Getting Things Done) on how to manage your daily, weekly, quarterly activities. My current morning routine (which I keep flexible and change every couple of months) • Wake up (around 5:30–6:00) • Cold shower • Five-minute warmup • Ten-minute training (skipping this recently) • Five-minute stretching • Fifteen-minute meditation • Breakfast • Work on my actions • Commute to work I have two short articles on my morning routine and an introduction to the Getting Things Done method.http://www.psysoul.com/morning-routine/http://www.psysoul.com/getting-things-done-gtd-method/ Reply Maria- Baptista says: September 28, 2018 at 6:54 am I love your channel ¡!! Reply Carol says: October 24, 2018 at 2:03 pm I've changed the order of this video for my morning routine. _1. I sleep with the curtains open to help me wake up before the alarm goes off._2. I meditate controlling my breathes while listening to calm music.( helps to wake my brain)_3.I make my bed._4.I drink my 8oz water with 3 tbsp acv mix.( helps to detox before meal)_5. I exercise for 30 minutes._6.I take cold shower._5.feed my dogs and myself._6. While eating, I write down my thoughts on a journal, what I'm grateful for the day and what i want to overcome. This order has help me make my morning routing a lot easier since i don't have one.✌ Reply Kelly Carmichael says: October 25, 2018 at 1:47 am Love hearing about you trying out new routines. I came to this one from your video about trying out his nighttime routine. I think I'm going to have to try out this journaling part; I've heard about doing this kind of journaling in the morning a few times recently and can see why it would be beneficial. I might also make myself return to taking brief cold showers in the morning. I was doing this when we lived in Iceland and could definitely tell a difference. So crazy that it helps keep you warm throughout the day! So needed in a place like Iceland. lol! Reply Aysan Yousefi says: October 25, 2018 at 3:30 pm Perrrfect! Reply Piotr Majek says: October 26, 2018 at 5:40 pm About meditation, after months of using Headspace I decided, that right now it's time do meditate myself. And I took the other position, I don't use the timer, but the stopwatch. After hundreds of days meditated for 10 minutes with headspace, doing it by myself take me about 8-10 min. And there is no alarm or something which can distract me, and I think that is a nice way to try 🙂 Also I would like to share with you my attitude to journaling. The "being grateful" part is great. But The next part of three important tasks has evolved in my journal. I started to write my ideal day. Something like "My day would be great, if I spent two hours in the morning today learning, then go for a run, eat healthy breakfast, go to work, spend very productive time accomplishing this, this, and that…" And this approach helps me to empty my mind and arrange in the way that I would feel being accomplished. Thanks for the movie! Don't use any audiobooks or podcasts and just let your mind drift for 10 minutes while walking. It's bliss, especially if you're a creative person. This is usually the moment I get all my good ideas. Reply Terry Wade Thompson says: December 13, 2018 at 12:20 am Damn good method. I used to struggle with waking up and the first thing I would do is start complaining. I've since stopped that. Wake up and make my bed (Takes around 2 minutes)2. Eat breakfast (Normally eat whatever my mom made)3. Meditate (for at least 8 minutes depending on the rush time)4. I complete my to-do list (Mostly washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen) 5. I made myself some tea and listen to an audiobook for 30 minutes. I hope you got inspired or something hehe. >w< Reply gremlinsbreath says: March 28, 2019 at 5:44 pm Three affirmations for the day. 1. No matter how much you screw up today . . . your not Hitler.2. Reply Genna-wae Webster says: April 22, 2019 at 1:29 pm I just stumbled across your channel, but my bf who is a photographer already followed you haha. I start everyday with hot lemon water to do a detox and I also change up my routines depending on what my body feels like. If it is PMS time then exercising does not agree with me so I try listen to what my body wants. Some days I need a nap in order to be fully focused for the rest of the day so I do that as well but I have been meaning to try Tim's routine for a while now so I can going to start that from tomorrow and see how it plays out. Being self employed and managing teams of people who run my clothing production does make it tricky to ignore emails and messages until ten. It's the difference between a crisis being averted and a whole ton of issues you cant tackle. So that's why I havent been able to do the email after 10 thing. Reply Aryadna says: April 26, 2019 at 10:27 pm Are you still doing cold showers?? 😀 I'm too much of a wuss to try… But I think I might need it. I have lots of trouble waking up in the morning. My only problem is that I have this mind block since I’m young and I have to go to school sigh from 7 am – 4pm Reply Toon Weltens says: April 29, 2019 at 6:18 pm Sorelle, first off: really nice butt! I wish mine looked like that…oh no, that would make me a girl, never mind.I would say I'm almost there with my routine.I get up at 5:40, start doing the Wim hof breathing which takes about 20 minutes and whilst at it, I meditate. I can highly recommend this as you can concentrate on your breath.Next up is a 6 minute HIIT followed by some streching exercises. I continue to meditate here, by really focussing on the exercises, it keeps my mind from wandering off. Then comes the best part, the cold shower, I start warm but finish cold about 2-3 minutes…in Europe…crazy huh!The journaling…I don't do that…yet…I should…damn… my procrastination is just horrible. Then I drink water. In all, having a morning routine has massively improved my concentration, performance, happiness, marriage,…just my life. Thanks for sharing Sorelle, I loved it! Reply Roald Keith says: May 3, 2019 at 3:51 pm I recently started the Wim Hof method and I know you have done it as well. Is that now a part of your morning routine? If so, where do you fit it in, before or after meditation? I start my day with a short meditation (5-10 minutes) then do the Wim Hof breathing exercises then cold shower. Love your channel.
