Los: What’s up, everybody?
This is Los.
This is Taco Bell, and the is Keto Thoughts.
Before you all start freaking out on me and
go, “Dude, what are you about to do?
Are you about to eat Taco Bell?”
The answer actually is no.
I’m gonna show you what you can get in Taco
Bell as the last, last, last, last, last,
I don’t know what I’m doing with my life/questioning
myself as a person thing to eat/really if
you need to do this, chill out man, pack some
stuff, just fast.
I’m gonna tell you what you would get it you
really have to do it.
But, I’m not even gonna eat the food.
I don’t eat Taco Bell.
I don’t fjavascript:void(0)eed them to my
kids.
I don’t play these games.
Not cool with you being like, “Oh, it’s last
resort, bro.
We gotta do what we gotta do and it’s a quick
thing for my kids.”
I for sure wouldn’t feed this to my kids in
any kind of capacity.
Los: I’m gonna tell you why specifically.
Taco Bell is known in the industry for having
some of the worst ingredients.
Now, this isn’t really a video to try to bash
on Taco Bell.
If anything, it is a video that even if I
tell you not to eat this, you’re going to
eat it.
And that’s cool, man.
Whatever.
At the end of the day you can only make your
own decisions.
I’m only here to try to help incorporate Keto
into a life that you can substantially maintain.
I kind of wanna dig into a little bit of the
reasons I’ve found out specifically from doing
some research and things like that that Taco
Bell’s just not something that you wanna go
get.
Los: Food Babe, which is a very predominant,
strong, positive woman, doing really good
things for food and things like that, exposing
a lot of companies in a little bit more detail,
but because Keto Thoughts is quick hitting
Keto power knowledge, I’m gonna kind of give
you a quick description of one of the things
that she found out.
After several conversations with Taco Bell’s
head of communication, I was able to confirm
that Taco Bell uses caramel coloring four,
which means it’s the worst kind.
The type of caramel isn’t stuff that you make
at home by cooking sugar.
This caramel color is manufactured by heating
ammonia and sulfites under high pressure,
which creates carcinogenic compounds.
Both Consumer Union and Center of Science
in Public Interest have studied this chemical
and recommended all companies drop this ingredient
from their products.
In California, it is listed as a known carcinogen.
Taco Bell’s statement online about this ingredient
is extremely misleading.
Los: So if I have not scared you with don’t
go eat at Taco Bell, I guess I’ll just show
you what I would get if I were to eat there,
but for sure I wouldn’t go eat there, I’m
telling you that, 100%.
What’s in the box?
What’s in the bag?
It’s not a box.
Boom, boom, boom, boom.
What’s in here?
So the first thing we have here is what they
call the power bowl.
What’s in the power bowl?
So, we have lettuce, we have a little bit
of tiny amounts of guac, and we have some
sour cream, little bit of sprinkled cheese.
The dressing is an avocado ranch dressing
which technically would be Keto.
I’ll tell you the macros, like I said, they’ll
be posted right here.
And we’ve got some chicken, so I don’t know
if you can see that.
We’ve got some extra cooked steak.
And so the whole idea is boom, you dump these,
I guess we’ll just do it.
Boop, boop, boop.
Honestly, the chicken looks gross.
Here’s final things of the description.

And so if I were to go to Taco Bell, that
is pretty much the only thing I would get
also/I wouldn’t go to Taco Bell.
Los: If you need something in a pinch, I totally
get it.
Listen, I’ve got kids, I’ve got a wife.
I work 16 hours a day.
Right now, as we speak today and as I’m shooting
this video, I’m trying to bulk up, I’m trying
to eat over 3,000 calories a day.
I’m doing it all with pre-made meals from
my house or this company near me.
We have some pre-made macro meals and stuff
like that, and so I eat those.
I’m eating as clean as I possibly can so I
can put the best things inside me.
Do I do that all the time?
I try to, for sure don’t.
Like if I’m traveling, sometimes I do OMAD
sometimes, like one meal a day.
I always try to stick to these very specific
guidelines.
I always try to fast.
I always try to stay as Keto as humanly possible.
I always think about it like this, do I really
want my kid eating this?
And if the answer’s no, then why would I eat
it?
I’m the dad, I’ve gotta be here so they live
a good life and so I can support them and
be a good influence to them and things like
that.
I always try to take a step back and think
that way.
But hopefully it makes a good point of impact
to you, your family, and the community around
you guys to stay Keto, stay clean, be healthy,
live happy, and subscribe.
