How to Make Healthy Chicken Wings – Protein Treats by Nutracelle

hey guys welcome to Protein Treats today
we are making breaded chicken wings and
I know you’re thinking that’s not
healthy that can’t possibly be good for
you well we’re doing them so that
they’re coated in Nutralean protein
and they’re gonna taste amazing and
you’re gonna be blown away by how good
these are now I’m using my special new
actifry which we’ll show you in the
episode but I’ll also show you how you
can do them in the oven so let’s get
started okay to do this it couldn’t be
any easier you’re gonna need two scoops
of natural Nutralean that you’re
gonna put in a ziplock freezer bag then
you’re gonna need some herbs and spices
now I’m just using one that’s already a
premix it’s got some parmesan and some
herbs in it but you can use almost any
kind you want even soup bases will work
great for this and I’m gonna throw in a
little bit of pepper and you’re gonna
need a little bit of olive oil spray to
spray your chicken and I’ve got two
pounds of chicken here ready to go these
are actual frozen chicken wings that I
have thought out and I’ve lightly
sprayed them with the olive oil so let’s
get started
now this is the trick I’m going to take
my Nutralean and I’m gonna put two
scoops of natural Nutralean right
into my bag just like this just like you
would do with shake and bake so we’re
gonna go ahead and put our two scoops in
there we go and then you’re gonna put
whatever herbs and spices that you like
right in here so I’m gonna go ahead and
just to taste I’m gonna add my spices in
and I’m gonna add in a little bit of
pepper as well so I’m just gonna do
that
and then I’m gonna close my ziplock bag
and I’m gonna shake it just a little bit
to mix it all up
once it’s coated all the way through now
I’m gonna take my chicken and I’ve
sprayed both sides of the chicken with
a little bit of olive oil make sure that
you don’t use a canola oil because those
can result all our sorry canola oil seed
oils can result in some weight gain and
what you want are your really great
medium chain triglycerides or your olive
oils and so we’re gonna go ahead and put
each one into our bag just like this
okay once you’ve got all your chicken in
make sure you close your ziplock bag
make sure it’s closed really really
tight and then you’re just going to
shake it all up okay once you have them
coated and you’ll see here they’re
perfectly coated just like this now what
I’m gonna do is I’m gonna use my actifry
now if you don’t have an actifry
pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees and
bake them on a single layer on a cookie
sheet for about 45 minutes but we’re
using the actifry so it’s only gonna
take about 20 to 25 minutes and I’m
gonna show you how great these turn out
so with my actifry once again I’m gonna
use my olive oil spray and I’m just
gonna move the paddle make sure I just
get it lightly sprayed all the way
around and then I’m gonna put all of my
chicken into the pan
I’m gonna spread it out a little bit but
as you can see that’s exactly what it
looks like I’m gonna go ahead and put it
right into my actifry close the lid
select my chicken and hit start and
that’s it I’m gonna see you guys in 20
minutes and I’m gonna show you how
delicious and juicy and perfect these wings
are gonna turn out okay you guys our
chicken wings smell amazing I’m just
gonna turn this off and I’m gonna open
up our actifry here and show you guys
just how amazing these have turned out
look at this
crispy delicious and so good for you and
so filling I can tell you the difference
when I don’t put these in Nutralean I
can eat a whole section of these all by
myself but as soon as I put them in
Nutralean I’m so full that I can only
eat a few and that’s the magic trick
that’s why you want to use your
Nutralean I’m gonna go ahead and I’m
gonna plate these put them on my
beautiful plate that I have ready here
I’ll move this out of the way look how
gorgeous these are and they’re gonna
come out you’re not gonna believe how
tender how juicy and how delicious they
are and you’re gonna feel like you’re
cheating but really you’re getting in
tons of fiber and tons of protein look
at this how absolutely delicious does
