How to Make Cream of Broccoli Soup |Broccoli Soup Recipe Indian Style| Broccoli Soup Recipe in Hindi

this indian style cream of broccoli soup is easy to make and very delicious
here are the ingredients we need. these are listed in the description box
200 grams broccoli, washed, separated into smaller florets and a little part of the stalk left intact
1 sliced onion
1/2 cup young celery leaves, loosely packed
1 potato, peeled and chopped
1 cup milk
2 cups water
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
2 tsp butter
3-4 garlic cloves ground to a paste
keep a pot on medium heat and put in the butter. let it melt
once butter melts reduce heat to low and add in the garlic paste. saute for half a minute
then put in the sliced onions. stir and add in the chopped potatoes
stir cook for half a minute
put in the water
and 1/2 tsp of salt to help the veggies soften faster
stir well and cover with a lid. cook for 10 minutes
keep the heat on medium-low or as per your stove
after 10 minutes the potato and onion is soft
put in the broccoli florets and celery leaves
also put in the remaining salt, black pepper powder
stir to mix well and cover with a lid. cook for 4-5 minutes
after 5 minutes put off the heat and remove the lid. let it cool down completely
the broccoli is quite soft
once it cools down blend it to a fine paste
here are the finely blended vegetables
put in the milk, give a stir and let the broccoli soup come to a boil. heat on high
the soup has come to a boil. reduce heat to medium and cook for about 2 minutes so that it thickens
after about 3 minutes the soup has thickened to the consistency we like. you can add cornflour to thicken it further if you wish. we are not adding any cream
put off the heat and transfer to serving bowls and garnish with a couple of celery leaves
