Reply Gioia Melanie says: December 12, 2010 at 12:01 am @princemohsin if you pre heat the alcoholic drink before using it, the alcohol devappers Reply William Meade says: April 12, 2011 at 7:49 pm @princemohsin Why not? You are not affected by alcohol when it is in food… the alcohol is physically burned away when the food is cooked, so you cannot get drunk or have alcohol related health effects from eating food with wine in it. If you dont use alcoholic products in food, do you eat bread? Yeast produces alcohol as it rises the bread, but the yeast is killed and the alcohol is burned as the bread cooks. If you're underage ask an adult to buy some cooking wine. The alcohol doesn't affect you when it has been cooked Reply Maxime de Koning says: August 22, 2011 at 6:52 pm people! the alcohol in the wine evaporates. it's just for te flavour. te alcohol just kind of goes away. so don't worry if you're not of legal age 🙂 Reply frantahouska says: November 15, 2011 at 10:09 am @princemohsin lemon juice will do. Reply Ronda T says: January 19, 2012 at 7:50 am the subsitute for the wine would be to make something else geez ppl are acting like they r going to get drunk lol Reply Ketchme17 says: January 29, 2012 at 4:22 am I made this today, substituting more chicken broth for the wine. I'm not a big fan of meat only tasting good based on the stuff you put on it after it's cooked, and this seemed to be the case. I tried the chicken without the sauce and it was pretty bland, it was just egg and chicken flavor. I wish the directions would say how much salt and pepper, because maybe that's were the flavor was lacking. The sauce was actually pretty good, thickened with the floured butter. Reply Joe meats says: February 16, 2012 at 8:52 pm my pops an old school italian that learned from my grandmother back in the old country and they cooked the chicken and all the francese ingredients all together and not separate Reply Andrew Mendoza says: July 4, 2013 at 3:12 am what nobody tells you is that the chicken stock takes 30-40 min at least XD Reply eddyvideostar says: January 14, 2015 at 10:47 pm To: Howcast. Is the wine not alcoholic? Is there a way around this and still keep the flavor of the sauce? Reply Neoquaker1 says: July 21, 2015 at 9:01 pm Great. So we're not only eating chickens by the truck load. We are experimenting on them in every way possible. Thanks! That sure didn't ruin my appetite at all. Reply ferrer65 says: August 21, 2015 at 3:54 pm For the people who are wondering, alcohol evaporates when cooked, so you can use any wine in anything really. I love adding a cup of red to my marinara sauces. Reply gritty aleks says: August 25, 2015 at 4:53 am it's bold to claim everyone will love it. This dish cost $16 dollars at my pizzeria. I think it's over priced. Amrite? Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
