How Keto Boosts Energy for Easier Weight Loss

Hi! we’re talking about why the ketogenic
diet is so effective for weight loss and what
we’re going to cover today is the boost of
energy that it gets you and this is
something that’s been studied in the
medical literature I’m not sure if you
can tell by now if you went watching my
videos like PubMed is one of my best
friends
but anyways the ketogenic diet has been
proven to show increased performance
especially in endurance athletes and I
don’t know about you but I’m a busy mom
of three and sometimes my life feels
like an endurance sport and I think this
is where the energy part comes in is
that at the end of the day instead of
feeling exhausted like I want to crash
on the couch
I’m happy to go exercise and this is
where the ketogenic diet can really fit
in with your weight loss goals it’s a
lot of times we not only want to lose
weight but we also want to get stronger
and have more energy and so keto will
give you that boost of more energy and
then when you go exercise with it even
if fish is taking a walk after dinner
that’s something that will translate
into even more energy and this is sort
of like the progress snowball that I
talked about how instead of having a
white-knuckle through the whole dietary
program as you’re trying to lose weight
this is something that it sort of feeds
on itself you go exercise more because
you have more energy when you exercise
more you build more fat burning muscle
which we all know that muscle takes more
calories to maintain than fat and plus
we look better when we have more muscle
than fat right so this is the energy
component and that keto naturally boosts
energy it’s something that a lot of
people that are endurance athletes are
starting to turn over to just because
they find they can run marathons they
can bicycle for longer when they’re in
fat-burning mode versus sugar burning
mode and so this is something that
definitely is equally applicable as
we’re trying to lose weight on the
ketogenic diet as well so I’d love to
