HOT CHICKEN THIGHS RECIPE

I wanna tell you a story that story is how
to make hot chicken thighs that is right hot
chicken thighs it is barry here welcome to
my virgin kitchen I had a request to make
hot chicken wings and I have to be honest
I am not really a fan of chicken wings I find
them quite boney it reminds me of what it
may be like to eat a bat, so I wanted to mix
this up doing chicken thighs instead much
more meaty they have a bone in it still but
you can get boneless ones but they are absolutely
gorgeous this recipe is a stonker you really
must try it, tweak the sauce to your liking
and they are baked so simple all year round
you can love it til your heart is content

right now on the last video I did 5 kitchen
hacks tested it was going so well until I
got to the last one and got mrs barry involved
and for humour I wanted to show the gentle
humour about the argument on peeling or slicing
the mango and now the whole internet thinks
I cannot do that I do I just wanted to include
that scene in the video as I embrace family
moments in the video as it is just fun right
or I could just go right this is how you slice
mango bananas on the other hand I have not
got a clue.
To make the marinade hang on a sec, my flies
I thought they were my flies were undone although
you just see waist up we just make our own
marinade it is so simple all you want to do
first of all is crush 2-3 garlic cloves so
use a garlic crusher or finely chop them into
a large mixing bowl and we just add the rest
of the ingredients, for some reason I went
with the salt and pepper first which is what
you tend to add in last but I was feeling
crazy today, there is literally no official
order to how you add that in there we have
all the ingredients going in there Worcester
sauce olive oil honey and hot sauce which
if you follow me on snapchat you will see
I have hurt my thumb but wow I did scream
like micheal Jackson when it happened but
the full quantities are on my website fully
but tweak those to your liking until you are
happy with it and give it a good mix together
until fully combined. So all we do then is
shove in our chicken thighs, these are ones
with skin on and bones in to still get that
boney wing feel optional you can get skinless
or boneless get them in there nice and coated
cover in clingfilm and shove in the fridge
just for the time being if you can leave it
overnight to fully marinade and mingle and
hungry eyes that would be even better, so
yes these are completely baked grab a baking
tray and carefully lift the thighs lifting
off any excess marinade for the time being
we will use it later and place them on a baking
tray well spread apart do not know why I am
doing it with my hands but that can be the
international action for well spread apart,
bake them in the oven for 25 minutes at the
temp on your screen and for the time being
do not touch them once they are done they
look quite nice you could probably eat them
as they are with the chicken cooked through
all we do is drain off that excess oil mainly
that has come from the chicken that has just
gone I do not need you oil I am loving this
hot thing that I am coated in now we reunite
the chicken with the marinade it was in before
it was like hey how is it going so get that
on your baking tray pour it all on there,
make sure your baking tray by the way I should
have said this at the start is quite high
ridged there is a lot of fluid in there you
do not want it spilling out inside your oven
get it all coated flip it over make sure it
is all sat and dunked tanned up in it shove
it back in the oven we have increased the
temperature of that what we want to do we
are going to do this every ten minutes take
it out give it a flip with your tongs or another
way of doing it is grabbing your pastry brush
and painting it all over getting it all nice
and coated repeat that as I say 3 times in
the oven when you take them out they were
be golden slightly charred for more flavour
sticky and gorgeous. I do not want to pick
these up right now this looks pretty gorgeous,
I finally gave in and dunked them in sour
cream and you do get that messy traditional
face you get with hot wings but you get more
meat for your chicken bone value thing ratio
but I am leaving these two, there is another
down there, for mrs barry they are so good,
