My name is Sheryll Questa and welcome to my channel.
I’m a fairly new youtuber but
I’m so excited about some of the things
I’m going to be doing I’m going to show
you how I like rap I’m gonna show you
how I decorate in this world there are
rights and there are wrongs and that
little cream filled spongy cake called a
Twinkie
I consider that a wrong with 29 grams of
sugar I ain’t got time for that I mean
the little guy on the box
he looks so nice he’s so happy look at
but I’m not gonna feel happy if I put 29
grams of sugar in my body I’m gonna show
you today how to make a sugar-free
Twinkie
okay so now for our ingredients this
recipe we’re going to keep it real
simple we’re going to use a box of
Pillsbury sugar free cake mix the yellow
cake mix that is and we’re also going to
be using these Twinkie shaped pans that
I got off the Amazon we’re going to
start here by setting our temperature to
325 degrees then we’re gonna crack our
eggs and we’re gonna mix all the rest of
our ingredients in except for our cake
mix so for this recipe I’m using a box
of Pillsbury sugar-free classic yellow
cake mix it’s the perfect texture by the
time I get done with this this Twinkie
is gonna be rockin so we’re just mixing
up these ingredients I figured I’d give
you some history on the Twinkie yes so
the Twinkie was actually invented by a
man named James Dewar yeah thanks mr.
doir my right and left hip are thanking
you right now but anyways let’s go back
to this lesson April 6 1930 was the day
he invented the Twinkie what basically
happened was the company used to make
strawberry shortcakes but only in season
and soda war basically came up with a
way to create a short cake with cream
instead of strawberry so I’m in bed
Dewar actually got the idea for the name
of the Twinkie as he was maybe was
driving or walking along
saw this big old billboard it was made
by a shoe company called the Twinkle
Toes shoe company at that moment he kind
of had an epiphany bike and thus the
Twinkie was born okay so it’s time to
get back at it let’s start finishing up
mixing up this cake now I have added
cashew milk
Yvette’s butter spray Oh else and
vanilla a little bit of trivia if I kind
of hooked it up so what we’re doing now
is we’re gonna put this into this
Twinkie pan and we’re gonna say prayer
because we need this to come out right
we want some Twinkies okay so I decided
for this Twinkie recipe it was time to
pull out the big dogs yep I’m talking
about my pastry bag this pastry bag is
gonna make this so easy it’ll be a
breeze to pipe this in here just like
that
which brings me to my quick tip so you
know how you’re in your kitchen working
and you really wish you how to paste
your bag you see this chefs doing all
this crazy stuff with a pastry bag but
yeah you don’t have one well throw
caution to the wind because you’re gonna
be okay just get a ziploc bag cut the
tip off of it and there you go use it
just like you would a pastry bag
so now we’re gonna throw these in the
oven and let them bake for 8 to 10
minutes and just like that
voila look at those golden-brown
delicious Twinkies
um guys do you see these I’m not one to
brag but oh my goodness these look good
okay so now it’s time for us to tackle
this filling okay so you know that
marshmallow a kind of creamy Center
forget all that I’m doing something a
little bit different I’m gonna be using
coconut milk as my creamy filling with a
little bit of sugar-free frosting
coconut milk you know you get good cans
you get bad cans and this can is kind of
it’s kind of in between but you know
what we want some Twinkies so we’re
gonna make this work okay so I’m adding
a couple dollops of this sugar-free
frosting in it’s gonna help with bulking
up my coconut cream okay guys so we’re
all friends here I’m gonna let you in on
a little secret I want you to meet my
little friend
this right here is vanilla butter nut
and oh my goodness whatever you put this
in it tastes awesome
I mean cookies frostings cakes it does
wonders you have got to try it it’s made
by mcCormick
okay so we’re coming down the
homestretch here and this filling is
looking awesome okay so this is my first
batch and I’m pretty impressed now I
will say that the bottoms are a little
bit rounded and that’s because I
slightly overfilled it I got a little
too excited but for that second batch
they’re gonna be just right so we’re
almost done and now it’s time to fill
these Twinkies okay so I kind of learned
the hard way not to overfill my Twinkies
look at what’s happening in the middle
right there but hey it’s all good
it’s gonna taste great anyway and just
like that our Twinkies are all done so I
hope you have enjoyed watching this
video with me just as much as I enjoyed
making it if you haven’t already please
like comment share and subscribe if
you’d like to try this recipe and your
very own Twinkie pan check my video
description down below
now this cream-filled sponge cake might
not be the answer to world peace but I’m
telling you we’ve definitely righted
some wrongs today I hope you enjoyed
watching this video thanks so much for
watching I’m sho questa and I’m out
