Make your own ice cream at home no cream no sugar. No ice cream machine needed, and it’s as simple as it sounds
Hello health-nut you’re watching the hungry gypsy, and I’m your health and nutrition enthusiast friend Anamika
So it’s officially summer now and today. We are going to make everybody’s favorite summer treat ice creams
We are going to make two different kind of popsicles today that contain only naturally occurring sugar than fruit, and honey
so if you’re counting calories, or if you’re on a diet
No need to deprive yourself of having ice cream
Beer ice creams require only four ingredient and a food processor or a powerful blender so without any further delay
Let’s get on with the recipe to start off
You’re going to need some frozen fruits, so what I did was I had cut up these fruits here
And I had put them in a ziploc bag and let them freeze overnight
So I have some mangos some strawberries and some bananas here
We’re going to use only the mango and the strawberries today
But stay tuned for my next video where we will be using these bananas as well
Let’s start with the mango first, so here’s my frozen mangoes
You’ll get a more creamy ice cream like texture if you’re using frozen fruits over fresh fruits
So I’m going to use my food processor here
But if you don’t have a food processor you can always use a powerful blender, so let’s start
Here’s my 1
Cup of frozen fruits mangoes in this case going into my food processor next ingredient going in is 1/2 a cup of yogurt now
I’m using plain Greek yogurt here
But you can use any kind of yogurt that you want you can use your all natural yogurt that you may have made at home
Or if you’re a vegan you can use some non-dairy yogurt such as coconut yogurt or any other flavored yogurt of your choice
Ingredient number three is one teaspoon of honey now
You can use any sweetener of your choice if you’re a vegan you can use agave or stevia
Or if the fruit that you’re using is really sweet, you can skip the sweetener altogether
But I’m gonna add a little bit of honey here adding. Honey will make your ice cream really scoopable and finally
I’m just gonna drizzle a little squeeze of lime juice
Now this fresh lime juice will kind of balance out all the sweetness from your fruit and the honey
And it will make your ice cream a little bit tart and zingy and that’s it
That’s all you need to do leave the rest to your food processor
Let it process or blend at a low speed for just about a couple of minutes
And in just about a couple of minutes
This is what you’re going to get look at that texture guys
Mmm, so creamy and rich just like store-bought ice cream now you can have this as it is as a soft-serve
It’ll taste just like a mango softly or you can freeze it into
Popsicle molds and enjoy a mango ice candy later on which is what I am going to do
I’m going to pour this ice cream mixture into my popsicle mold
And I’m going to freeze it and that is it in with the lids
And it is ready to go into the freezer now
If you would like to purchase this popsicle mold online I would leave the link to it in the description box below and now
Strawberry lovers. It’s your turn next
Recipe and ingredients remain the same so into our food processor goes one cup of frozen strawberries half a cup of yogurt
one teaspoon of honey
Now I’m not adding any lime juice here because my strawberries are really tart and sour
but if you have the ones which are really sweet go ahead and add the lime juice and
process and
All done. I’m just going to pour this ice cream mixture into my popsicle molds
So now I’m just going to pop the popsicles in the freezer
For about five to six hours so that it becomes really firm and chill you can leave it overnight as well
But it really just takes about five to six hours to become really candy-like, and you can enjoy it on the same date, okay?
So my popsicles have been sitting in the freezer for about five hours now and now time for the moment of truth
I’m gonna take it out
let’s see how a
delicious fruit and yogurt
Popsicles have turned out if it’s difficult to unmold then just heat some water and dip the mold halfway through for just a few seconds
and it should glide out easily and
Look at this beauty coming out of the mold just one word delicious
