hey guys I’m nisa homey and welcome back to my channel. today I’m sharing a simple and easy vegan sandwich with capsicum chutney and channa which is a perfect filling meal for breakfast or lunch chana is also known as chickpeas or garbanzo beans. Eating chickpeas provides you with a vegetarian source of protein and fiber, so make sure you have some cooked chana or chickpeas in your fridge to make some healthy fiber and protein rich meals especially if you are on a weight-loss journey I had already shared the recipe of capsicum chutney I’m using in this recipe and the links will be updated in the description box below so please do check it out you can also make a wrap or roll with whole wheat or multigrain roti instead of bread. so let’s check out the recipe. To make sandwich with capsicum chutney into a bowl and adding in about 2 to 3 tbsp of capsicum chutney, adding in some boiled and cooked channa, which is also known as chickpeas or garbanzo beans. Into that I am adding in 1 finely chopped green chili, if you are making this for kids adjust green chilies and now top it with some coriander leaves, squeeze in half a lemon. Add in a fat pinch of pink Himalayan salt, fat pinch of garam masala, and 1/4 teaspoon of chaat masala the garam masala and chaat masala will give a nice Indian flavor and now give this all a mix you can check salt at this stage and if you feel you need more salt you can add this capsicum chutney can be kept in the fridge for up to three days so if you already have some chutney left in the fridge it would be more easier for you to plan your meals ahead if you like to have some crunch you can add in chopped onion. simply spread this on top of brown bread or any bread of your choice. now for some healthy fats I am drizzling in some ghee you can also use virgin coconut oil, try to include ghee or virgin coconut oil in your diet as they are a good source of healthy fats.
