Healthy homemade mayonnaise in few easy steps

cookbook today I’m going to show you how
to make homemade mayonnaise using egg
yolks it’s far better than buying
mayonnaise from supermarket it’s very
easy to make doesn’t take more than 5 to
6 minutes and it only takes a few
ingredients to prepare so without
further ado let me just show you what
you’ll be needing to prepare this
healthy homemade mayonnaise first of all
you need four eggs
for the amount of mayonnaise we want to
prepare in my case I’m actually using
four organic eggs if you want if you
have free-range egg available use the
free-range egg in my case I’m just using
organic egg because we are making this
mayonnaise using egg yolks so we would
need to separate the egg yolks from egg
whites so here you can see my wife is
very carefully separating the egg yolks
one at a time from the egg white leave
the egg white don’t throw it away
because that egg white can be used for
other purposes and if you want to know
how I use the egg white stay tuned till
the end of the video and I will show you
how I use the egg white so here we just
separate the egg yolks from the egg
white and then take it to our food
processor so I’ll be using a food
processor if you don’t have a full
process about if you have an immersion
blender you can use that one too but in
my case I’ll be using just a normal
standard food processor so in that food
processor is just pour in your four egg
yolks at this point if the egg yolk
breaks doesn’t matter as long as they
break inside the food processor is fine
to that add half a teaspoon of salt salt
essentially helps the whole
emulsification process of the mayonnaise
and to start the emulsification process
going
we added a quarter teaspoon of olive oil
then close your food processor and start
the whisking process going and that
should incorporate this initial
ingredient
together as you can see once you see
that this mixtures the egg and salt and
the oil has been thoroughly incorporated
to that mixture from the feed tube of
your food processor
slowly slowly start adding more olive
oil in our case as I said in the
beginning we’re using olive oil you can
use other form of oil also some people
don’t like to use olive oil because
olive oil has this olive oil flavor they
tend to use neutral flavor oil so as you
pour in the oil you will see the
thickness and the consistency of your
mayonnaise will change as you can see in
the video now from the thin egg yolk it
suddenly became really thick and creamy
here now I’m actually adding just a
quarter teaspoon of vinegar because I’m
pretty sure that the oil has fallen
thoroughly incorporated with the egg
yolks and now just for the taste
we’ll be adding a quarter teaspoon of
black pepper and that’s basically it
this is the only ingredient you’ll be
needing in order to produce your easy
homemade mayonnaise and once that is
done just take it out of your food
processor pour it into a bowl and that’s
it you can actually leave these homemade
mayonnaise in refrigerated for at least
a week I would advise you not to use it
beyond the week because you know you
just made this mayonnaise with fresh
ingredient you didn’t add any additive
and preservative in it so it’s not going
to be like the supermarket mayonnaise
which can last for at least a month so
it’s far better than supermarket
mayonnaise and it’s far more tastier
obviously it’s healthier there is no
added sugar or hydrogenated vegetable
fat we use olive oil in our case if you
like any other neutral flavor oil you
can use that but essentially because
it’s a homemade mayonnaise here you are
actually have you have full control of
what ingredient you put into it and with
the egg yolks I mean sorry with the egg
white I have
