Full Day of Eating Keto VLOG #03

Hey guys! What is up? I’m gonna do another Full Day of Eating blog today, but before
I do, I’m gonna get in a quick 5K this
morning around the neighborhood, and then
I’ll see it right back here after this!
So recently,I’ve been trying to do some
more strength training, and I’ve been doing some
push-ups. Gonna try to get through
two sets 15 and 2 sets of 10.
25 is a lot, at least for me. But I’m
getting better.
I started out a few weeks ago, just doing
four sets of five, and then upped it to five
sets of five, so I was doing 25 a day for
like, a couple weeks. And then last week I
pushed it up to fifty, but I spread it
out a little bit. Today’s the first day
that I’ve really tried to do them all in
one swell foop. Sara says that she has
noticed a little bit more ‘beef’ in the
shoulders, so I guess I’ll keep going.
Okay, that’s 50. That’s about where I’ve
been!
it’s time to chow down. I’m gonna start
with a protein shake, using Isopure Zero
Carb Vanilla and cashew milk. Actually,
the milk I’m using is almond cashew milk.
It’s my favorite non-dairy milk.
So I’ll put the macros right up here, as I
suck this down. This kitchen is in dire
need of…a time-lapse cleanup!
Well that’s a little bit better. The
kitchen is still not perfect, but it’s
definitely less of a pig sty than it was.
Yay.
So I think I’m going to fry up some
halloumi, which is a frying cheese. I’m
gonna do half of the package, so just
these four slices here. I’ll put the rest
back in a Ziplocky. So I’m just gonna
let that fry for a little bit, flip them
over, and they’ll be nice and pretty, golden
brown. And then I might do a couple eggs
after that as well. All right let’s try
to flip these guys. Oh yeah.
What are you doing, Ted?
Ted, you’re being positively obscene. Oh,
really?!
God, get in there! Yeah these are looking good. Just about done. I’m gonna crack a few
eggs and scramble those up, and that’ll
be my breakfast.
So guys, here’s my breakfast.
I’ll flash the macros right up over here.
it’s four eggs, scrambled, and half of the
package of halloumi cheese.
I’m about to go get my children and
bring them to the dentist. Whoo!! But
before I do, I’m gonna pop this Quest Bar
into the microwave for a few seconds, and
that’ll be my lunch.
Yeah. Mmmm. Like a freshly-baked cookie, baby. Mm! MMMM!
K, this baby for dinner. About 3/4 of a
pound. Ribeye.
So there it is. That’s food vlog number
three. Three? Three? Three. I guess this is
how the cool kids do it. Number
three. it was a good day for me. I’ve been
thinking I was gonna do these food vlogs,
sort of save them for a special occasion,
like when I went to Hamilton. You can see
I did a food vlog for when the family
and I went to Hamilton recently. That was
kind of cool to do, but today didn’t seem
extra special. I mean, I had the day off,
which was special for me, but I figured
I’d do a food vlog. Hadn’t done one in a
little bit. Enjoy doing them. And it was
fun. Ted is down here, messing around!
Teddy, what are you doing, Teddy? come here,
buddy. Come here, big boy. Oh, he’s a good boy.
Come here. Oh, he’s a Ted. Oh, he’s a huge
boy. What do you say, big guy? Smell my
breath. Is that weird? I’m weird. So I got some good footage of Soph and Ted today, just
kind of hanging around the house, took
the kids to the dentist, which was always
fun. Really kind of hit my macros right
where I wanted them to be. My protein was
up around 190, which is what I’m shooting
for. I went a little bit overboard on the
fat with that rib eye for dinner tonight,
but I’m not too concerned about it. I
kept my carbs really low today. They
would have been even lower, had I not had
the couple of Quest Bars and that I did
have. Had one of those as I was running
out the door to take the kids to the
dentist, and then had another one when I
got home, which I don’t think I filmed.
But that’s kind of my normal, average day.
That’s what I try to hit. Keep the carbs
low, hit about 190 grams [of protein] — I’m a tall guy,
I’m 6’3″. I’m right where I want to be,
weight-wise. I’m at about 210, so
if I can hit somewhere around 190 to 200
grams of protein, I’m very, very happy.
Some days it’s a struggle to get there,
days like today, it was not. That ribeye
kind of did the trick. So that’s gonna
wrap it up for this video. I really hope
